I’ve owned this watch, and there’s a ton to love. But it wears too large for even my 7” wrist . . . Very large lug to lug. Nautilus and RO wear beautifully . . . Wish they’d made the Overseas a mm or two smaller.
@@lihanou Rolex has a more comfortable oyster bracelet, but in terms of finish and fun flexibility of interchangeable bracelet, Overseas is really a step above. Love both watches.
Oh come on! The Overseas has far more hand workmanship and attention to detail than any Rolex. No Rolex is even close to anything from VC. VC is for brain surgeons. Rolex is for tree surgeons.
I bought a watch from amzwatch lightly used for my last milestone birthday. Don't wear it as much as it deserves, but not afraid to, either. It's stunning . Good taste, Sir.
Well, Tim, the Faraday shield shown at best only acts as a planar shield. As such, it can only effectively block electromagnetism from one side. The sensitive escapement is on the back of the watch and so is fully exposed. To completely protect the movement, a full Faraday cage is required. Alternatively, does the escapement have antimagnetic properties instead?
My watch was purchased 2 years ago from amzwatch and, to this day, it still looks and runs as well as it did the day it arrived. That movement has never missed a beat despite never having been serviced. I can't complain about that.

The ideal steel sports from the holy trinity. It doesn’t get any better than the overseas

Never understood the appeal of the Overseas... paying $20k for a watch with a regulated balance and accuracy of +/- 15 seconds. Not very impressive.
