My bike started off as the same V7 Special. I love how you've gone with the scrambler pipes! I want more bikes but don't know if I'll ever want to sell my V7 either!
Very good video! I am always open to seeing and learning about bikes that are on the so called fringe of motorcycles here in the USA. I have not seen a Guzzi around here ever. I can relate to his story. My uncle bought a Triumph Bonneville back in 1970, and I have loved those bikes ever since.
Well-said re: bars versus clip-ons , I'm lucky enough to have bikes in both variations and they are very-different applications . I've long been tempted by a Guzzi.. Dave nz
Hi Classic Rider, the rear shocks are made by Gazi and they’re very good. The rear sets are the factory Moto Guzzi items that are fitted to the V7 Racer. They are getting a bit hard to find now but they have a nice amount of adjustability. If you can find them I definitely recommend them!
I have a 2015 V7 Special. Feel the same way about my bike as this gent feels about his. Recently thought about selling the bike or trading it for a KTM Duke 390, but decided against it after a recent ride. Very easy to ride and stands out (in a good way) from other bikes. It does require slightly more knowledge about the bike’s nuances-tendency to lean to one side more than the other at low speeds, slightly better shifting technique to get the most of the transmission-when compared to Japanese makes, but rewards with a non-sterile riding experience.

Thanks mate! The pipes are certainly very nice and they’ve opened up a bit since I put them on so it’s slightly louder now
Almost got the exact same colour, ended up with the V7 Racer. Over the moon with it.

That's cool to hear mate! Thanks for watching, we really appreciate it 💪
I've owned guzzi's since buying a V7 in 1970. Currently ride a 2000 jackal purchased new. I've put over 125000 miles on it and it runs perfect.

You’re onto it mate! They certainly are an acquired taste but once they get under your skin they’re there to stay...
