Hmmm.. odd. In other vids this elite was annihilated by an H2 hunter. Health levels must be set differently in the videos. The elite here took a good 3 hits from the Hunter. That’s about what it took to kill him in another vid.
@@trueheartintent yup, H2 is broken, H3 kinda relies more on numbers(which i like more tbh), you literally have to go up all the way up to reach to find something similar
@Travis L CE shields were way stronger than H2s. The beam rifle is powerful for H2 because shield strength was reduced due to the hide and regen health aspect. Basically the sniper rifle is a one shot in H2 as well but in CE it took I do believe two or three shots from a sniper to kill a gold elite.

I definitely geeked, I was thinking for the most part he was facing enemies so far below his level and it looked like he was barely even trying, then goes all out against the hunter using every ounce of skill and speed.
Ahh I knew the Zealot would run the gauntlet but once tartarus showed up it was a wrap. Nice to see Godserker Tartarus and Golden Arbiter work together, they must be planning something, either to take out Yap Yap or Keyes since the Golden Bastard is dead.
Every time i played Halo 1 and see that golden elite, i was sure he's the same all the time. It makes your mind blowing when you figure it the arbiter of Halo 2 (and all forward) is a zealot/golden elite from Halo 1.
I feel like a few of the H2 Covenant had a really good chance of winning but were plagued by terrible accuracy. Both the grunt and elite who were armed with fuel rod cannons should have been able to take down the H1 zealot but missed all their shots.
Actually Jackal Snipers are good marksmen but not always accurate and can miss easily plenty of times. However Halo 2's bad legendary balancing makes their accuracy pinpoint, which has turned into a meme and stereotype. However they aren't that good.

Jackal Snipers tend to shoot their snipers until their weapon overheats, it goes unnoticed due to them missing and hitting the next shot before hitting you with the third if they missed the head.
The dialogue for the elites is just stuff johnson says... but it's usually played in reverse...hence the whole wort wort wort is just johnson saying go go go backwards

That was a perfect example of why I love the enemy AI in Halo: CE. It was very dynamic for its time, and still is now (inconsistencies aside lol).
