As long as you can route the microphone through the effects that's all that really matters. Only reason I kept my DJM 600 for so long was to make my voice sound like either the Bee Gees or Barry White.
One of the biggest Pioneer's fails ever. Haven't seen a single use of these players and mixer, during none of the major festivals, neither are a rider of some of the top 20 DJs. Even DDJ 2000 was more successful.
Since the TOUR units have Rekordbox built-in, do you still need to have your songs analyzed on a Rekordbox-equipped computer? Or can you just plug your USB drive straight in? (and have it analyze the waveforms on-the-fly)
I would need a lot of no-residue studio tape to cover up all those BPM counters and moving waveforms. I can barely tolerate the small ones on the Denons.
The problem with the TOUR-1 is that it was way overpriced for a feature set that wasn’t significantly greater than what is already available on the NXS2.
@@ripvansparky Is it? If you don't use the AKM DACs and just go to an outboard DSP, would anyone be able to tell a difference with a SPDIF passed through the DJM Tour compared to the DJM-900NXS2? The Tour does seem more durable, has a few extra features, and has the built in hub.
Bernard Knight I'm aware. I'm saying it's funny how he used the RCA analog connections, instead of the digital coax ones on a system which is touted to have such a high sound quality. Would make more sense for a review to keep the highest sound quality possible
Doesn't make a difference if the music is being played at 320kbs mp3. It only starts to make a difference when you get into higher quality audio. The mixer itself (if going to a digital console) is the only thing that should matter. If the mixer and the console is clocked together through AES/EBU then you won't have drop outs and clicks.
So disappointing that Pioneer didn’t do any proper updates. Screens useless while connecting rekordbox; while not connected can’t see all the data. Sorry for the folks that bought it for $20k
thanks for the heads up Pioneer needs to get there shit together, Those 13'' screens are totaly useless with all dj software, screens only for a stick with rekordbox analyzed tracks on it what a waste
Louie Morales I agree. If they manage to get those screens working with DVS software, it does seem a bit pointless. Not sure what functionality firmware updates might add.

Where would you put an Rmx unit? The screen impedes access to one no?
That is a good point!

They're so high priced that there's no way Pioneer DJ lost money on the few that they sold.
4 screens to watch the same waveform?

Can you change the waveform to RGB?
if you wanna watch screens instead of mixing and rocking the crowd
I miss the days when djing was about music.
"What do you mix, bro?" "Waveforms, my man. Next level shiiit!"
Antonio Vargas I’m pretty sure this gear isn’t running on simply hopes and dreams.
noizyme Na man Mixing with Skill and talent is the Shit,if u suck whats a screen Going to do
nice vengeance loop intro
Where can I buy xdj xz in SA

i rather the SC5000 over this set up....looks nicer than the tour system too
Well, no one is ever going to call the full Prime system bright or etched or glossy.
Who is this system for exactly? What kind of market? Is this for large scale events where a DJ is not the main focus?
Where producers at big festivals pretend to be DJs.
Big up for that Cirez D :)
So nice Dj
15000$ on this desk

reviews $15000 of equipment...uses RCA's for connections between CDJ's & DJM.......
It does have digital outs. RCA's are different, even though they look the same

did say he was focusing on the screens though. Answering questions that DJs, rather than, sound engineers, were asking.
yeah, because sometimes it doesnt matter and doesnt make an audible difference

There are some really bad producers out there pretending to be DJs, though, so that might help them.
Lumayan mantap ni tapi gak muat rumah kalu gua beli ni alat. Enak countroler aja lebih simpel dan ringan
This is ugly.
It's starting to look like a blinking control room on the Enterprise
Wow, my initial thoughts exactly. Like some crazy stuff you will someday see in the pawn shop for a ridiculous price and think, yeah right
@@erikmolnar6585
Indeed. But that will most likely be because someday DJ's will realize they should like shit.
That's not professional
because of you wAre professional you wood have preset cds
