@@gerrymandolin Without a doubt. I was lucky enough to catch The Pogues several times over the years and they remain the best gigs I've ever been to. Great memories.
@@robbiemontgomery581Fantastic! My brother went to some of the early Pogues gigs and he said they were crazy! I’ve seen them once but only after Shane left the band. They were supporting the Levellers in Sheffield in the mid 90s. Great gig!
Great stuff Ger - really helpful for those of us starting out in Mandolin, easy to follow and structure of the lesson is great! Couple of requests for you to consider- Johnny come lately by steve earle, Las vegas in the hills of donegal and Fishermans blues. Thanks for all the videos so far!
Nice one David! Thanks for the feedback, pleased the videos are useful. Great suggestions too. I’ve actually got another Goats Don’t Shave tune on my list to do but I’ll also add yours to the list. Cheers! 👍
Videos are awesome and have been super helpful. Wondering if you’ve ever played any Mary Wallopers songs, love will never conquer me would make a good lesson. I think I’m close but not great at figuring things out by ear. Keep up the great work
Nice one Ethan, thanks for the comment. I like the Mary Wallopers and that’s a great song suggestion. I’ll add it to the list and I’ll get a tutorial uploaded soon! Cheers! 👍
Hey Ethan, just uploaded a tutorial on Love will never conquer me. Hope it helps, and thanks again for the great suggestion. Had a lot of fun recording it. 👍
Good job mate. Always been one of my favourite MacGowan compositions.
Thanks Robbie! Shane MacGowan was definitely one of the best songwriters of his generation.
