Quick shout out to the Alliance RV Group on Facebook at bit.ly/3wNUlnz for recommending this RV today! I had heard so much hype about Valor models and FINALLY got a chance to see it for myself!
The hype is REAL on these! This might just be my personal favorite fifth wheel toy hauler to date. There's really not much I DON'T like on this one. The new big solar package is pretty awesome and the traveling access absolutely shocked me in the best way possible!

The rear water conection would be an ideal place for a ice maker
Perhaps a small portable diswasher on a table too. Although it's a bit far from the kitchen lol. But I love the ice maker idea!
Yes 🙌🏻
Wow Josh! When you cover a toy hauler you "really" cover a toy hauler! This one is off the charts nice and huge! Thank you for all you do!
I try to be detailed!!
This one checks all of the boxes. The space that my wife & would have to do crafts plus plenty of craft supplies storage is fantastic.Don’t have toys so won’t need fuel tanks, the patio needs to have a side step also, the step getting into the garage needs one more rung or in other words a four stepper, nothing that a handyman can’t fix. Just need to feed my half ton pickup some instant grow up to a Ram 4500 CC dually. Josh you done great job on showing this one, stay safe & dry
I love this unit. You were not kidding about that kitchen rocking. I think the countertop extension would be better if it was a bit longer, say another 8-12" or so so that you could sit facing one another on those stools. This is an awesome rig.
Love that idea!
We love ours!! But it is a BEAST!! In the storage above the TV we put things that we don't use daily. Instapot, some first-aid stuff, storage containers, etc..
My first thought when I saw it was large not used everyday kitchen appliances and bulky consumables like the mega costco pack of paper towels.
Board games, puzzles maybe?
As someone who cooks I always get excited for a U galley. It's something that I see a lot in the older and smaller motorhomes I am currently shopping that disappears as they start to add slides. Nothing packs more drawers and counter space into a compact area. Its something I wish would come back along with the classic rear living peninsula kitchen 5th wheel. It really feels like something was lost as rv's were able to get bigger in terms of space efficiency. As far as I know nothing like the safari treks I have become infatuated with really exists on the new market.
Edit: I really like how they have that solar system setup. The upgraded factory system is very capable but it also uses off the shelf easily accessible discrete components instead of the oem black box systems I see a lot of rv's use. This is very amenable to upgrades and replacing failed components. Whoever ends up with this in 15 or 20 years will really appreciate how easy it is to work on and how non proprietary all the building blocks are. Major kudos to whoever designed this.
Great looking toy hauler. Thanks for sharing Josh👍👍
Thanks for watching!
Wow. This is awesome! Ty Josh!
Wow - that’s a beast of an RV. Love the colors inside - nice wood tones plus white countertops.
One of the best done Utility RVs on the market right here. A simple/quality indoor/outdoor rug in the garage would alter the feel and use of the space for so many other things. Park it and live it.
This would be on my list of possible trailers, if I was looking for a toy hauler. I love how the kitchen is set up, beautiful layout. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome! Thank you!
LOVE the kitchen!
As a Valor 42V13 owner, I want to clarify what Josh said about the solar systems on the Valors. He got it right, it is just spoken clearly. All Valors come with a solar package. This package includes 2 panels on the roof (640W) and 1-100 amp hour battery, no inverter and the smaller 40 amp charge controller. With the Solar Plus package (as seen in this unit), there are 3 panels on the roof (960W) and 3-100 amp hour batteries. The Solar Plus also adds the 3000W inverter and a 60 amp charge controller.
TY Scott. It's difficult to sometimes try to verbally explain the differences between what people see and what they COULD see on video sometimes. I usually just sound stupidly confusing. You're much better and clarifying lol :)
Josh I love this beautiful RV. You have done it again by showing this RV. You have out done yourself with this video. You are the best.
Wow, thank you!
We picked ours up in December. We Absolutely love it and the quality of materials and the quality of build are Outstanding 👌👍
James TY not only for sharing this but all the help you've provided others in these comments. I appreciate you sir!
Glad to see you review a toy hauler. That thing has some awesome touches but like you said it’s a big girl. Nicely done Alliance
Thank you 🤗
I try to get a few where I can
There's definitely a heavy focus on trailers on this channel, but that's also the most commonly chosen type of RV out there
It’s like the love child of a luxury 5th wheel and a toy hauler 💞
_Exactly!_
Another well detailed presentation Josh. The Alliance 5th wheel illustrated here is one outstanding unit.
Toy haulers RARELY get me excited
I loved this one
As far as the shower, since there is that long shelf, you could take an adjustable shower rod, and use that to hold items on the shelf.
Thanks Josh ! Started looking after watching your video and found a Dealer network in Texas/Oklahoma that is purging the 2022, 37V13 models. $74,400 for loaded units with MSRP's of $141k 🤪
A price that low? I made contact and it was legit ! $74,400 plus Destination/Doc fees, SD sales tax, and negotiated price on extended warranty.. final price of $82,126.20 !
Down side: that 12v Everchill refrigerator that has a high failure rate. The Dealer tech found it to be DOA upon the pre-delivery inspection. So now I have to wait an extra 2-4 weeks for a replacement fridge before driving the 883 miles to pick it up !
My dream rig
That's a nice dream! :)
I have done A LOT of research these past couple years for when it's our time for retirement. The Valor is hands down the best on the market! Their basic standard and quality features, out shine any competitor.
To the 12 volt fridge, lights and outlets. The huge shower, solid surface counter tops, KING size bed and ample storage!!! I ❤❤❤ the Valor.
However.... it is too large for our future travel plans of getting into National and State parks. 😭😭😭
I have seen a new concept Valor TT that Alliance is in the process of tweeking...... that could be a possibility?!?
Great review Uncle Josh and I can't agree with you more. This is an awesome 5th wheel. 👍👌
HDT to pull the house with a smart car to run around in. 😉
I know of a couple who redid the cabinet above the TV in the living room to house their Bearded Dragon. It’s very cool and Scout loves it!! It’s an Alliance Paradigm.
Nice!
I haven't watched the whole vid yet but I can already tell I love this. Especially the kitchen. And the tall cabinets don't bother me, my husband is 6'3 so he is an excellent cabinet reacher upper lol
My mom used to take me grocery shopping to reach the top shelf stuff
@@JoshtheRVNerd hahaha!!! Smart woman!
That’s one beastly rv.
"This is a BEAST" is what kept going thru my head over and over again
This one's incredible! She's a beauty!😊😊👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 Great Work Josh buddy 😊😊👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
That is a great setup. A few tweaks for couples only, and we're golden.
What would you adjust?
Can you sayyyyy ammmazing! I just was fishing around on your Bish’s site and notice you added a vehicle towing list!!!! Yesssss that’s AMAZING! Thanks for doing that!!!! I am blown awayyyyy. Oh and this camper is cool but i don’t have a big truck. I am the Tacoma guy. Thanks for listening to your viewers!!!!!!
We're always working on the site. New one launched and has a LOT of ways we can improve yet!
Totally agree, if I was in the market for this size of a 5th wheel, this model would be at the top of the list.
Nice! TY Mike :)
Hey Josh! Because there is a tank on that compressor, it may even power an impact or other tooling for manually putting in slides or changing tires!
Dude that’s incredible
Yes you can stop and access and use almost everything.
But a little Tip!!
If you are wanting SNACKS/Food out of the pantry while traveling Don't Lock the glass door between the garage and kitchen👌
First big trip out and All My SNACKS were in the pantry and I couldn't get to them with the slide in😢😭
Great tip. TY James
I finally got to one with one a few minutes instead of a few months
Come again?
I can see that at a permanent site and as an entertainment center with that garage space and back patio. When the season is over you have the space to store any toys you bring along. A Moon Shade over the patio deck would extend the fun. Great for social butterflies.
He didn't mention it but it does have an awning out the back.
As James mentioned I think I failed to mention the rear awning over the deck
I like it. This is a nice toy hauler. I don’t think I would change a thing. Alliance is very customer focused. PS the shower had a ledge on the back wall. I would put soap, hair products etc there.
That’s a solid point on the shower. Ty!!
I do like the shower. FYI, There is a build in ledge the length of the shower for product bottles.
I was just in your store yesterday looking at this camper. I just might have to get one in the near future.
Nice pick!!
Hey Josh, useful suggestion! Why not carry a doorstop in your pocket? Save your socks or wear darker ones! 😊✌ out
It's a great idea but I have door stops on my feet lol
Great layout ans solar pacakge
Great review, as usual. We’re biased, owners of a 36v11. 👍
You did well then :)
We do wish our steps came off the side instead of the back.
And the cabinet above the TV is a great place to stash Lots of paper products.
With the king bed the side tables are plenty big enough for my Phone charger puck and glasses with room to spare 👍
The outside propane hookup could have been centrally located or closer to the patio as well 🤔
Like it!!!
Wow, like a Swiss Army Knife of 5th wheels. She is a thing of beauty. With her weight and payload I'm pretty sure you need a tow vehicle even more beefier than a 1ton dully.
F350 Dually hauls this unit without a problem, and safely. I have the 42V13 (same physical size, a bit heavier with the side patio) and I have no issue hauling this unit. I would NEVER hook up to one of these with a single rear one-ton. There are a lot of people that do, I would not be comfortable doing it.
Ty for this Scott
My 2021 Ram 3500 Duelly tows it great.
The truck is equipped with the Ram Air rear suspension and it doesn't even squat👍
Josh i know you listen. Somebody needs to make a 30' toy hauler with a 5ft side load door for 1-2up atv or 2 dirt bikes. Remember the cougar srx??? Ya baby
Outback has done stuff like that before… not sure if they’re still out there
Sure are not being discounted price-wise much, so it will be interesting to see if fuel costs stay elevated, coupled with rising interest rates, may put a big dent in sales of units this large (and expensive).
One of only a few toy haulers that I have ever seen with the same livability of a traditional RV👍And two bathrooms with porcelain toilets and no Dollar Store 4 inch fart fans👍👍👍
It's gotta be good if steve starts throwing the 👍 around in triplicate lol :)
@@JoshtheRVNerd I love any RV with no obvious signs of cost cutting or cutting corners, unless it only has a dinette😬
Josh, if you like this. Check out the 42V13…. But as far as floor plans go, nothing beats the Momentum 395MS-R
I'll watch out for one. TY for the suggestion
Great review Nerd! This is one of the best toy haulers I’ve ever seen! I would rather see whisper quiet AC units and more kitchen outlets. The main bathroom is a huge disappointment. I think adding the door from the bedroom robs too much wall space. There’s no good spot to hang up your towels! Having said that, I think overall this rig is a step in the right direction vs the cramped living spaces in most toy haulers. Thanks for the review Nerd! Looking forward to the next one!
We can sit and watch TV without cranking up the volume when all 3 A/C units are running.
They are very quiet and cool faster than any others we have had in other trailers.
As far as towels go we put hooks on the shower door.
TY for this info, James!
@@jamesglenn520 that’s good to know. I think this is one of the best toy haulers I’ve ever seen, so having info like this is very helpful in the event I decide to purchase one in the near future. Thanks for the input!
I'm not a fan of fithwheels but that's awesome.
I agree man. I'm not a big toy hauler guy.. but I could be for this one if I had a semi to haul it lol
Wow! That without the garage would be awesome for us.
Here's a few examples of a non-toy hauler alliance:
bit.ly/3aisrXU
and bit.ly/3mWy5Sx
Plus their new smaller series bit.ly/3zdtUcz
I think I just found the best Toy Hauler's. KZ Venom and V series. There made of Azdel, they have Plywood floors and roofs. They have a lifetime warranty on their roof's. And the best solar package of any Manufacture " up to 1800 watts of solar, 5000-watt inverter etc...
Not trying to argue, but for clarity:
► "They are made of azdel" - using it in the walls a bit, but it's not pure composite construction
► "Lifetime warranty on their roofs" - This is a dangerous thing marketing teams sling out there and if you had the opportunity to review the details of what that actually entails, then you'd know why I feel that way. That phrase implies maintenance free roofing. It's absolutely not that. It has the same seals and requires the same upkeep as everything else. And if you cannot PROVE you did that, then your "lifetime roof warranty" is null and void. The warranty covers the membrane only - not construction of the roof or any of the other materials like the trusses. That warranty also prorates down so quickly that after very little time it covers a little bit of no money on a repair and replacement.
The big solar package is awesome of course and I'm excited to see MFGs headed that direction!
Again, not trying to be difficult or confrontational. But with that kind of money on the line I want people to better understand what they're actually getting.
@@JoshtheRVNerd well thank you for the clarity;
Love the layout but the size is a problem for us. We downsized from a 40’ 5th wheel to get into more places. I can’t imagine how limiting this would be. I don’t think it would even fit in some of the places we go.
It’s a super valid point. You have to really plan ahead for something this big
@@JoshtheRVNerd - Yes. With planning it could probably work. We had to plan ahead with the 40’ 5er as there were some places that had very limited big rig sites. I will say, if I was gonna live in one this would be high on the list of contenders given the floor plan and space.
what type of places? I am new to this and have no idea? Any info is helpful and appreciated
@@luissarah4355 - Most State and national parks are limited for longer RV’s if they have any spots at all. It starts to get limited after 30’ and really limited after 35’. 40’ and up most of them have few to no sites that will fit them or the roads, trees, etc won’t allow a rig that big. Most of them were built when 30’ was a very long RV. And a lot of the older private parks have limited spots for rigs 40’ and over. At least here on the West Coast. We had to plan in advance to get sites. One place we go every year has something like 400 sites and only 8-10 of them fit an RV over 40’. And a lot of the places on the coast have very limited sites for 40’ and bigger.
All of the newer parks are made for them so it won’t be an issue there. I’ve heard other places like Midwest and Texas have lots of places to accommodate larger RV’s. I don’t have first hand experience with that.
It’s not the end of the world and you can make it work if you are set on a larger RV. It takes some planning and compromise though. For instance, you likely have to find a place outside of State and National parks to stay and then drive into them. You may have to make reservations a year in advance to make sure you get one of the limited big sites at a place you really want to stay. There are FB pages and sites dedicated to Big Rigs and finding places they’ll fit so there is help out there too.
For us, it was too limiting on where we wanted to go. We wanted more options for sites. Both for staying where we wanted but also getting last minute sites for last minute trips. The smaller the RV the more likely you’ll find something last minute. And we really didn’t spend much time inside unless we were sleeping. We are outside 90%+ of the time so the extra space inside the large RV wasn’t useful to us. It just made sense for us but you’ll have to think about how you want to camp and how much you want/need the space versus how much prior planning and loss of flexibility you want to deal with.
Baby Hammock to Baby loft. 👶
15:49 not just convenient as a phone shelf 📱 but also great for visually challenged people to rest their spectacles 👓 🤓
Hey Josh.be honest nice unit but do you think I can compare to Voltage 4225?🤔I'm not sure.itslike flurb 4 me just toyhauler ...I know every video have to seems be excited so I'm ok w that coz I love your channel but otherwise I have so far mine favorite toy hauler as well like fifth wheeler 👍
Hmm.. HHHMMMM...
Voltage's tank sizes are amazing. Opposing living slides open the space nicely. Standard generator is a potential BIG deal though
Alliance's Kitchen is my personal favorite and the solar package is INCREDIBLE (even the base solar is something decent). Alliance is rocking azdel as well and the air compressor is something awesome I think
23:42 I like the look of ‘off the back’, however ‘off the side’ may be more functional as far as clearance behind this long rig for them (as you know there’s room ‘off the side’ or else you couldn’t deploy the other steps to get in) 😉
This is a 32 foot luxury fifth wheel with a garage on the back. This is the type I wanna retire into
That's extremely well said I think
1:37 nice bathroom sink & countertop space 👍🏽👍🏽
Wait until you see the side patio version
Looking forward to it for sure
I always thought that first step was a real lulu, Doc. I guess it doesn't matter too much because the difference between a lulu and a doozy is only 37, right?
37 yea
Definitely. Definitely 37.
I'd use the "graage" as an office. I like it. That said? I rather have a 40 ft motorhome.
What benefits would the motorhome provide you this lacks?
Not arguing - simply curious. I learn a lot from folks like this :)
@@JoshtheRVNerd In my case, it's self propelled - many in a motorhome will tow a vehicle behind them. Where I generally go, I don't need another vehicle. I choose to use my bike (or if it's a bit of a distance I take my electric bike. That and a cab, Uber, public transportation work fine for me. But not for everyone. When I manage one of two county camps in Oregon, usually once a year I'm provided with a pickup for work around the camp and to come into town 50 miles away.
0:05 I really like the U galley with breakfast bar❗️👍🏽👍🏽
My favorite kitchen setup. HUGE function for minimal space
Hey there Uncle Josh quick question:
Those black cables that we see running to and from the solar panels, they seem to be exposed to the elements. Perhaps the sheathing is a heavy duty material, (hard to tell), nevertheless why aren't they OR should they be covered with some sort of flex loom to keep them out of the weather?
Thanks! 😊
It's a valid point I think. Solar in bulk hasn't been around the RV industry for long. Time will tell whether they do/dont hold up well
Josh,
You need to carry a paper weight with you. Save the socks!
The bed space has more spots than I have family members. They should sell those storage beds for houses and apartments too.
How tough is it to have another axle put on your rig?
If I had this,I’d want a hottub.
There more room on a floor for furniture off the back but if it doesn’t matter to the person, off the side would be okay too. It depends on what you want to do on the porch.
Sometimes when you’re describing stuff it is hilarious.
Adding an axle? In all these years I've never had someone ask that. I have zero information available to offer you as a result. The thought has never really crossed my mind..
I've only ever seen a farm tag on an axle to something like a cargo flat bed to help haul round bales of hay. Beyond that it would be something we'd have to run past a fabrication shop
@@JoshtheRVNerd I ask because this Aluma Lite may weigh more when I’m done and it may need one.
Who makes the best goose neck camper?
There's no answer to who makes the best anything unfortunately. It's a matter of which one best fits what you're seeking and how they accomplish that.
Each brand has something different it does to benefit different people. Our team would be happy to assist you in getting paired up with the one that best fits your wants/needs
Or if you could give me an idea of a few things you're seeking, then perhaps I could offer a few recommendations
