Very nice! I just sent my Meindl boots, almost identical model, into a cobbler here in the states for the same repairs. Great to see what will be done! Thank you for your craft and for sharing it!
Great job! Just had my Meindl Borneo's resoled for the 3rd time.. I should get a new pair..but they go on and on..and have worn in beautifully I can't bare to part with them..
Fantastic... You made those boots look brand new... I have a pair of meindl german army mountain boots... Which I stored for a year... The sole has started to delaminate.. I'm gutted loved those boots... I'll have to see if I can get them replaced....
Hi, lovely job, well done, it was a pleasure to watch 👍 👌 I've got combat boots that I bought vibram montagna block soles for and got a local cobbler to do glue them, I use them as motorcycling boots, but they said that they're the wrong soles but they could sell me the correct ones for an extra fee, I agreed and they did them but I've had to go back to them numerous times to get them to glue them again and again, I'm fed up now and just want to know which is the best glue to use for them so that I can relay this information back to them because I'm not sure whether they're experienced enough to use the best glue, as we all love a bargain, they might be using the wrong glue, but yeah...I also find that the soles they sold me are very soft compared to the montagna block soles I've got and they seem to wear down very quickly too... I mean, I've glued some soles before, it took a while for me to find the best product that worked but as these are hard wearing boots being used on a motorcycle maybe they need a more hard wearing glue possibly?
hi glad you liked watching my video. Regarding the glue and the sole you are talking about, it is difficult to advise. Please send me pictures and I will take a closer look
That was so satisfying to watch you do make it look easy can i ask how much that service would cost with the Vibram sole on that particular pair of Meindl s i uk in 2024 as i am finding it hard to find a skilled cobbler in my area. Your skill is second to none ✌️

Excellent work! You've inspired me to resole my old Berghaus Storm Attak hiking boots. I liked them so much that I wore out the soles on two pairs and fortunately they're both in the garage awaiting to be resoled one day soon. What was the material used for the black welt? Rubber, foam? Who knows, if I do a good job on these I might even attempt my old steel toe Doc Martens. Thank you very much sir!
Could you tell me are you using a rubber solution on the insole as it looks like it's fibre glass.also .does the vibran unit come already with a middle as I have not seen them in the UK..thank you .by the way .Fantastic video

@@Skoservice Since you care about feedback, I have a request for a video that I bet will be very popular (also in Europe since you are from here, so you could advice things easy to find in EU): professional advice to help non-professionals repair their own shoes. What glue should be used? Where can soles be bought? What kind of soles and glue are best (for what type of sole)? Would flexible cyanoacrylate work? What about cheap glue to repair tires/bicycle inner tubes? Why do some professionals heat their glue and what kind of glue do they use? What are the cheap and easy-to-find materials for non-professionals in Europe or the US? Can we glue a sanded sole onto an old sole or should we really remove it? Ideally, it would be great to conduct experiments to measure the efficiency of common glues (e.g., different brands of cheap (flexible?) superglue, cement glue (what is it exactly?)). Are stitches really indispensable? If so, what thread should we use (material, size)? Would screws or nails help to maintain a sole? Not really. It's not solely (pardon pun) about the money. It's prolonging the life of a well made product rather than throwing it away. Also if you paid the retail price for a pair of Meindl Island actives then getting a few extra years from them with a resole seems like a reasonable option.
