Meindl walking boots complete repair! Vibram Foura soles

De Meindl stapschoenen kregen een compleet nieuw onderwerk.
De auto stootrand werd afgehaald en vernieuwd met een 360graden stootrand en er werd een nieuwe Foura Vibram zool geplaatst.

Moet ik onthouden. Net een paar 15 jaar oude Meindls weggegooid en nieuwe gekocht. Bij de oude was de hechtlaag tussen de Vibram en de rest van de schoen helemaal verduurd en kwam de zool los. Had ik het geweten... Mijn beste wandelschoenen ooit.

Nice, had mine done like this a few years ago. I had send them to. Medial approved specialist and now I can see what they actually have done. Thanks ! I didn't know there was a specialist in Belgium, I already added you to my contacts list for future reference !

Vandaag mijn Meindls ontvangen na een perfecte reparatie. Nieuwe zolen en stootrand. Volledig conform verwachting zoals in de video te zien is. Eigenlijk zelfs de verwachting overtroffen. Bedankt Arne en tot een volgende keer. De schoenen verdienen het. Groeten, Cor

In the case of my lowa boots that are £100+ to re sole. I've bought a new pair of meindl combat boots for £85. When time comes for a resole for those if more than £85 then new.

what i dont understand is what goes inbetween the Vibram outsole and the boots? I dont see any glue you put between them to stick..

There is glue. Strong heat activated contact glue.

With the greasy leather cream of Rapide, which is a fat, you just ruined the Goretex membrane ! ...the small openings in the Goretex layer will close up by the cream and therefore membrane will not work no longer!

What are you talking about the gortex membrain is inside the boot. The outer part of the boot is leather. Boot oil or heavy boot grease will not do damage to the boot I have been resoleing and servicing customers for 40 years now retired . Sir you don't know what your talking about here.

Great but with my size ( 49.5 aka size 14 ) its probably not possible to do.Just like shoes in my size is difficult to buy.

Of course it's possible. I have the same size (EU49.5, UK 14), I bought 4 pairs of Meindl Guffert Gore-Tex shoes so I have spare shoes, but I will repair those if needed.
