Awesome, great work 👌 makes me regret getting rid of my docs, they were made in England , had them for 15 years , i bought some newer Chinese made and gave my old ones away, Chinese lasted less than a year

That was so satisfying to watch you do make it look easy can i ask how much that service would cost with the Vibram sole on that particular pair of Meindl s i uk in 2024 as i am finding it hard to find a skilled cobbler in my area. Your skill is second to none ✌️

These where the worst brand of boots I was unfortunate to have ever bought. The rotted from the inside out. Meindl didn't want to know. Never again well buy this brand.

Excellent resole! A leather midsole is a significant improvement over the original.

Very nice! I just sent my Meindl boots, almost identical model, into a cobbler here in the states for the same repairs. Great to see what will be done! Thank you for your craft and for sharing it!

A few days ago i took my most recent pair of Meindl Perfect boots to a real cobbler. he was willing to repair them 250 euros. OK. But when i told him of the ridge where my left toe goes, he felt inside said he could not remedy that ?? Uncomfortable in the mountainous terrain i live and work in. Long and short of this is i really think Meindl boots have gone downhill in last 10 years. Been wearing Meindls for over 25 years now i'm looking around.

They look epic. Much better than anything Dr Martens actually sell.

You definitely do the best resoles of hiking and mountaineering boots I have seen on RUclips. It's shame I do not live in Sweden, here in Asia there are no cobblers who can resole my old Meindls.

Glad I found your channel. Can German military boots be resoled like this? I have heard that they couldn't but, it looks like your method of resoling may work on them.

Nice work curious why cobblers don't order sheet cork in thinner sheets , seeing lots of guys sanding half of it away if they use VS, hot cork

Cutting a channel in the mid sole for stitching; I don't know why most bootmakers don't do this.

What you added is very similar to my Meindl shoes. Well done. Where I was surprised, that the foam and rubber is already together. You are in Sweden.

Going to resole my meindl shoes my self this time it will be the fourth time they get new soles and after 25 years they still are in good condition after the new soles offcourse thanks for the lesson perfect video
