There is something just so unique about Cope talking with Otz in this sit down chat form, anytime it happens its just so "podcast like" how some of my friends & i will do where we get ranting and just talking about dbd theory crafting and having fun just talking about the game it's so passionate. :)
My personal favorite Survivor build currently is the ultimate chase+information+generator build for solo queue: Alert, Troubleshooter, Rookie Spirit, Iron Will You can see _when_ a generator is kicked with Alert and for information, and you can see _which_ specific generator is being kicked with Rookie Spirit. Troubleshooter + Iron Will so you can never be mindgamed in chase and you can avoid screwing over your teammates generators. Alert also can have synergy with Troubleshooter sometimes.
Hey cope, I see this video is sort of old being 4 months, but I appreciate you made it, I haven’t been super in tune with all the perks and item changes they’ve done since around wesker’s release, and these kinds of videos help with creative ways to use strong things on a new account as if switched from console to PC, I don’t have as many of the items as I used to but being able to get styptics for example from pharmacy medkits is a cool option rather than just using the bloodweb
to add on to the builds i'd love to introduce a 2-perk build consisting of object of obsession and distortion. if you're the obsession then you have 10 second bursts of no scratch marks every 33 seconds. if you've been out of the killer's terror radius for a long time then you'll begin seeing them and it recharges during chase which can lead to lucky escapes. its very RNG heavy but imo its fun trying to make the most of each distortion proc
oooo that sounds like a fun build. i'd probably add fixated so you can actually see when you lose your scratchmarks because i feel like i wouldn't be paying enough attention to my perk icons haha
i’ve been running the endgame hope, adren, wake up, no one left behind build for a long while now, and it is easily one of my fav builds - so glad it got some recognition 😎
The build @ 51:52 look super fun! Second Wind is always so rewarding when it's active, and the other perks to help if the killer is tunneling works wonders as well! Loved the video!
This is half my build I am using at the moment. You should try "we'll make it", "second wind", "distortion" and "sprint burst". The idea is to keep you hidden with distortion so you are not the first hit/downed so you are more likely to get the heal on someone else meaning you activate second wind and then sprint burst for when you are unhooked so you are less likely to be hit/chased after being unhooked meaning you get second wind value :) sprint burst is also really good for when you are on a gen and the killer shows up. So my strategy at the start is if the killer doesnt have lethal pursuer I start *walking* to the first middle gen. if the killer sees me I sprint burst early to disuade them from chasing or if the killer chases someone else then I sprint burst to the middle gen and let it charge. If the killer does have lethal, at the start I immediately sprint burst away from my teammates and head towards a middle gen (trying to avoid the path that the killer will take to my team). With this strategey I find I am more able to get value from second wind twice and imo that makes it better than adrenaline. If you do try it, let me know what you think. Merry Christmas!
I have zero shame and have stolen so many Cope builds. They're so crazy fun - especially the inner strength, headon, Q&Q, small game build. That's my go-to.
one of my favourite anti tunneling builds is second wind, off the record, decisive strike and dead hard, if the killer wants you off hook, you are likely fine, and if they dont you get healed and still have lots of time of off the record
Low profile is actually very underrated. The tooltip is not really explaining it , but you can activate low profile many times during a game . Your team mates do not have to be dead for the perk to activate , it also activates if they are all downed or hooked . So let's say one surv is hooked , 2 are down : Low profile activates for 90 seconds , and you can use it again and again as many times as the requirment of you being the only one "standing " is met . Honestly it helped me so many times to save my last team mate from the hook , or to save my entire team from a slugging killer , or to win in the end game
it's hemorrhage that resets progress, not mangled. otherwise, another banger of a dbd video, you and Otz both are too smart and too nice for this game honestly
Would be really cool if there was a link to the builds or something like that. As a sem-new player I don't really even know what half of these perks are and assembling the build is kindof a pain in the ass to go look them all up by trying to match thier icon to the website that has perks.

Sorry to Otz but 1:20:00 this build (especially including Low Profile) has won me so many solo queue games where my teammates are 🐶💩 and/or gave up. It got me my 20 escapes from RPD achievement. Seriously its basically a 99% guaranteed escape as long as you find hatch/killer doesn't have No Way Out. Low Profile saved me so many times. The lack of scratch marks let me cross the map to distant doors without fear of being trailed.
What pisses me off the most about DBD Mobile is you get 3 lines indicating where you are to the killer, and it’s the same if you’re injured or just running as quiet as possible. You can Deception and hop into a different locker and they’ll NEVER check the locker you used Deception on. It’s absolutely infuriating the lack of perks we can use for fun because of those three red lines showing where we are in relation to the killer.

most of these arent viable, due to killer consistently : tunneling, slugging, camping
