I've never written publicly about my ADHD but I feel compelled to share, because this video is just so on point.
Only 15 minutes in and wow.. the missed ADHD experience is so common, and not knowing why I was struggling leading to self doubt is so true. Hope others can find encouragement in this video, realizing that they aren't alone in this.

Thank you so so much for this. I am so stuck in anxiety and my diagnose after 32 years. I know that I have ADHD combined from January and we stopped my medication against depression and panic. Because my diagnose is different now and we wanted to try out if I can live without. But my anxiety is so bad right now and adhd is triggering it constantly. At the same time I had a stemceltransplantation 5 years ago, because I have an deadly disease Scleroderma. And it makes being of medication so much worse due my hyperactive moments. I feel I am so stuck in a circle of fear and can’t go anywhere. This info is really nice to hear, even though I can’t find a solution for myself. 🙏🏽

And we tried adhd medication this week, but I got scleroderma reactions all over my body right away. What we didn’t know is that there are cases of people that got my disease of using adhd medication. - I got it after abusive use of amfetamine, because it made me feel better back in the days and nobody knew that I had Adhd. So medication for adhd is not working for me.

    Thanks for this information.
Trying to figure out if I have ADD or anxiety or low confidence or negative self-talk or if it's hormones making life difficult. Overwhelming.

What about when it’s the anxiety that seems to be causing the executive dysfunction? Would you treat the anxiety first, or would you still try and improve their executive functioning in light of anxiety? I know there hasn’t been as much research as needed in this area.
I was hoping you’d touch on that in this video.

Hello, I'm 23 and I'm sure that I have had ADHD Inattentive type since childhood. The ADHD symptoms have led to certain issues in my life in the last 2 years which led to me having severe anxiety. I am from a country where it is difficult to find a good psychiatrist specialized in ADHD, especially in my city. Is it possible that I could get properly diagnosed and treated online from ADAA?

Approximately 12 years ago I was put on Vyvance by my Family Doctor after treating my daughter and then had me take a test as well. I am a perfectionist and very unsure of myself.
It was a game changer. I was on Prozac for 20 years by then for anxiety after the birth of my second child.
Two times I have had to switch family physicians for insurance reasons. Both times I was taken off of Vyvance. It was horrific both times. Anxiety (with no apparent cause) and I completely shut down. I am now back with my physician who prescribed Vyvance. Second week on adderall 10 twice a day and back on Prozac 20.
It is a slow climb back to mental calm. I live in fear that when my Family Practice Doctor retires (single practice and is a 68 years old with ADHD) that my next doctor will take me off the stimulant meds. I was taken off the Adderall right after I retired.I am 65 years old and recently retired. Hard dealing with not working full time anymore: less structure/so much fear.

it's like they give you crutches and you can walk somewhat normal and then they take your crutches away, it's cruel.

I have struggled since 16(so 21yr)with anxiety, depression, pain, sensitive stomach, endometriosis and the past 3yrs I have felt like I have no life in me. I can't keep up with household work or finances because I get so overwhelmed! I have an appointment next Thursday and I pray they start me on medication. I need to be able to function as a wife and mom and I am tired of seeing my family suffer because I can't get it together. Pray for me please

Look up the combo of high functioning autism and adhd, you might find some good answers. I know i did, it explains alot.
