Loving the videos mate. Just came across your channel yesterday so watching a lot of your older ones. I’ve recently moved to the Berkshire area and I’ve played quite a few of the courses this year.
@ been playing Sandford Springs and Bishopswood the most this year. Been meaning to get a membership somewhere but having just spent 10 years being a member at the same club in Scotland I’ve enjoyed playing different courses this year.
Well played! The day turned out so much better than I thought it would. The sun made is absolutely lovely. Was great to say hi! The course is tough but lovely.
@@Gimme_tv It was my parents house No 31, I spent 30 years of my life there. My father was a member there for over 30 years. his name is on some of the competition winners plaques in the clubhouse back in the 80s era. You played very well indeed for someone whos never played there before, I'ver seen many regular players there who have been members there for years and they couldn't hold a candle to you, well done.
Brilliant stuff again Martin! The course looked lovely and thought you drove it well as it looked pretty tight. You were fighting hard down the stretch 👏👏
Thanks mate, I’m always conscious that the same angle the whole video is a bit dull, as I film on my own it’s hard, but the colours of the trees and course helped today 😂
@ Keep it going mate and well done for achieving what you’ve done and if you would like to come and visit my club (9 hole in Hampton) as a guest of mine don’t hesitate to ask.
@AsadKhan-lm6yr cheers mate that means a lot, ah awesome which Hampton is that? Can’t find it, much appreciated though I’ll drop you a message if I’m available
Very enjoyable watch ! You definitely struck the ball well enough to break 80 . Course is in fantastic condition for November , how much did you pay ? One of my favourite courses in that area , shame I've only played it 3 or 4 times ......
@@Gimme_tv I would love to play it again, especially when the Rhododendrons are out , early summer . Being a club member I've got a county card , which generally gives a decent green fee rate .
@@Gimme_tv generally, when you join a club you receive , or can apply for one . The green fee rate you will receive is normally member's guest rate or just a bit higher than that so a reasonable saving can be made . Mine is a Wiltshire Golf Union one which is on my phone , ready to show proof etc
Really good effort on a course new to you 👏🏼 Looks in great nick too 👍🏼
Thanks mate, yeh it was in great condition!

Thanks Matt, loved the course, green fee was £75 midweek, defo worth a visit in the summer the greens must be rapid!

@matt-ut7cw ahhh gotcha, sounds like a deal, only downside of not being a member anywhere haha 👌🏼
Great video mate, those greens for November looked insane. Lovely looking track.
Thanks mate, they were, some of the best I’ve played this year!
