    Interesting that the machine Dr. Rubin recommends is the one for which his company produces. He has a vested interest to scare us away from the other brands. If they really want to help the common folks, they would find a way to make it more affordable.

    Can someone help me understand.. New to this, interested in purchasing a LIV plate, in this video he emphasizes the optimal intensity/ frequency is 30Hz, no more no less. Does the user have control of the Hz on the LIV plates that are on the market ??
    I would hate to be doing this everyday on the wrong Hz and not getting the benefit. Is the Hz fixed n some plates? Also another important point he emphasizes is to stand straight-legged in order for the vibration to reach the spine. As soon as your legs bend it’s over, I believe him, but almost all LIV advertisement photos depict a woman standing with legs bent, very bent, doing squats. Please enlighten.

    • @rosemarie9956
      @rosemarie9956 Год назад +1

      interested in knowing this also and yes see so many ads with bent legs. I am wondering if the difference is because some machines are focusing on a "weight loss" while this group is focused on Bone health so standing straight is optimal for that...perhaps

      I@@rosemarie9956 I think the difference is, are you trying to challenge the muscles vs. the bones. Or both. I use another brand of platform that I use at 30 Hz and used it with fitness and weight loss clients. I had them do squats on the platform to work the muscles. I had them do other exercises off the platform, planks and such to challenge the core muscles. If you do squats you might not be getting the spine benefits he talks about, but strong legs and hips are important for staying active.

      I'm a personal trainer with a fair amount of experience with vibration platforms. I have had another brand (not Marodyne) and would have some of my clients hold a plank or do a pushup plank for 30 seconds. Or sometimes do down dog into up dog (yoga pushup). In some of these cases to strengthen the muscles around the shoulder. But usually 1-2 sets of 30 seconds each and not holding for 10 minutes. In plank position I would use a foam pad on the platform to take stress off the elbows.

    Once more the US is mostly interested in drugs because the money it gets from it is huge. A device that is proven to reduce osteoporosis is not an incentive to any pharmacologic company nor the government that is getting huge kick backs for the " approvals" of such drugs... Drugs that are proven to not improve the quality of bone and have terrible side effects. Greed seems to rule us.

      If more men than women got Osteoporosis/penia and they couldn't get erections, you better believe doctors and scientists would put their thinking caps on, leave them on 24/7 until they came up with a cure.
      That's another problem we have in US and other countries: There is no profit to be made in seeking cures. Our so-called "healthcare" industry CEOs are goal oriented towards, as you say, making profit.

Probably not because Dr. Rubin would have probably avoided designing it that way but I’m just curious if this vibration would be different than the ones the organs work with themselves?
