    What happens if a Mimic attempts to attack another Mimic who has evolved to look like a human?
    Edit: Seven months later I realized something else, another reason the creatures in the story book could be humans is in the story it says the creatures were struggling and had very little food, the crawl popped up around the 1930's, AKA The Great Depression

      Take the first word of each sentence for each translation of the names of the Flesh.
      Crawl - Climb
      Trimmings - Cowardly
      Meat Snake - To
      Mimics - Slaugther
      Harvesters - The
      Host - Impurity
      Monoliths - Heaven
      Singularity - Truth
      From each first word of the sentences it seems they form and incomplete yet sensible sentence, this is what i got so far...
      "Climb Cowardly To Slaughter The Impurity Heaven Truth"
      The first part make sense as it implied that the person who is talking right now is directing a creature as really cowardly, we can say this creature is a Trimming. It seems he is telling that Trimming to slaughter something that is impure which we cannot identify, as a creature that is impure in this universe is the Host, but the Host can fight back so we cannot determin if a Trimming is capable of killing a Host. The only things that we can make out is the Crawl, The Crawl is basically impure as well because of its look, so maybe the Trimming is forced to kill their mother (The Crawl). However i am unable to make out a meaning for the last 2 words of the sentence i made. Heaven may impile that either the Trimming or the Crawl died and acended into Heaven, but this is a simple thought. For Truth we could say that because of this death we gain the answer or goal of the entity/creature which manipulated/controlled the Trimming to his dirty work.
      From what we can identify these set of words tells us a story that could give us the answers on how the Vita Carnis was actually created and who first discovered or created it.
      Hopfully this explanation is useful to all of you, note that there maybe mistakes so if there is some, please reply to this message.
      Thankyou.

    Ok, before I continue watching further, I find it VERY interesting how the behavior of a mimic kinda behaves similarly to the patterns of a human serial killer. In their youth, they kill small animals (insects, frogs, birds), graduating to bigger and bigger animals (rabbits, cats, and dogs). Then as they age they decide to commit murder. And if they aren’t caught, they learn to completely blend into society all the while becoming a more efficient killer.

      Bringing me to believe a theory it brushed off earlier. Seeing as that paper on the Meat Snake saying the word "Cult Activity" with crossed out text, pictures of cult activity variously throughout the video, and there are 7 monoliths, and 7 deadly sins. My theory is the Crawl is a organism either originating from Hell, or being birthed from the raw sins of Humanity in general

    Not only is it a creature that resembles humans and eat humans, it's also strong and likely doesn't have pain receptors, so it can tank a lot of damage.

  • @wyverndragonborn4063
    @wyverndragonborn4063 Год назад +797

    Id like to note- the guy in the mimic found footage clip likely made his location known unintentionally by shining the flashlight out of his hiding place. It would have not only been a clear circle of light when looking directly at it, but also created a large beam of light on the opposite wall. With the mimic's intelligence, it likely followed that clue directly to him

But that's the thing, Vita Carnis was waiting for us to get curious, maybe bc of some evolutionary trait that tells it that once we're curious enough to set it free we need to be made extinct by whatever it produces.

    I think the prince stories, the quote “grow food” could be really important in that humanity farmed crawl, possibly giving a good environment for the nodes to develop, making more of the separate species. The other species, specifically the ones that prey on humans (e.g mimic, host) were specifically made by the crawl.
    It goes like this, the crawl started out spreading itself, eventually, it evolved making nodes, leading into the making the trimming. they are scavengers, that being the safest survival type.
    humans found the crawl, and started to farm it, and interact with it. The crawl, sees an opportunity to use humanity and animal life to their advantage,
    It made meat snakes, they can consume bigger things, making it less vulnerable than the trimming, while staying a scavenger, as it eats dead things.
    The crawl most likely observed everywhere, forests, cities, wherever it grew. Then it made a few more based on separate environments..
    The mimic for highly populated areas to stalk and feed on humans.
    The harvesters to feed on mostly animals, as it lays dormant primarily in forests.
    And the host of influence as a passive food source, as a lot of people wouldn’t assume somebody walking as infection, and there are no huge visual effects. It seems like all of these creatures have different roles, some killing primarily or only human, or some killing animals.
    The crawl seems to be one of the closest reasons of these creatures developing. Depending on its environment, and what it “sees” it adapts, which is why mimics stay in populated areas, etc etc.
    I’m not touching on the monoliths or the singularity as they haven’t been fleshed out enough for me to have a theory (no pun intended).

    With that Mimic tip of hiding because it doesn't linger long enough to search, maybe the person that was recording was spotted first so the Mimic knew they were there somewhere. That or Mimics generally don't search and move on until they spot someone alone.

    In the mimic section the mimic knew that he was cornered so it probably decided to take the time to look because as was said they are intelligent.

  • @abeethayuka
    @abeethayuka 8 месяцев назад +8

    Something interesting is the fact that the mimics turn darker when they get a lot of food and so did the meat-snake meaning that the singularity probably eats a heck ton of meat or maybe the meat vita carnis consumes is being sent somehow to the singularity idk it’s a theory

    This really interests me. Instead of these creatures being contained or unable to harm us in reality like the Scp foundation and the backrooms, they are in the wild, and can get to us at any time, even in our own house. This is in my opinion, more scary to think about than either.

    19:52 Marcus thank you for stating my exact theory. Because a person is watching a limited space and limitation of understanding video, they are more willing to investigate and dive deeper. Upon doing so, they become uncanny with the results and as the videos get more chilling, more eerie and psychologically unsettling things will force the mind to compress fear into pain. I also think it's scary because instead of a 3rd person horror where you know what will happen to thee character, in analogue horror, you lack just as much information as the video gives you so you're forced to investigate meaning you can relate to the character in the 1st person view as it is short and entirely limited to their view and not much can be explained that what is happening. Again, this is one the scariest sub genres of horrors due to its dreading proximity towards the viewers.

  • @secretskull21
    @secretskull21 9 дней назад

    Bro, this Analogue having legit low-budget horror-movie effects makes it WAY more intense than others that are mostly still images and vaguely scary video.

    Ok I think there is a way to live a long period of time. So we know the harvester is only native to the northern hemisphere and the host is in North America, The mimic looks for large populations like New York City, the monoliths seem to be in a really green and lush area. The black orb (can't remember the name) seems to also be in a forest from the picture. So I conclude to move to Australia. The mimics seem easy to avoid if you stay away from Sydney and from the map showing where the mimics reside, it looks like mimics only roam the coastal areas in Australia. And the more you move from the coast the hotter it gets. Sydney is on the coast. I feel like if you move to a smaller town, farther away from the coast but not too far into the outback. I feel like this could work. I'm up for suggestions tho

    i’ve got a theory that the vita carnis species actually we’re from another universe’s earth and the prince put a portal between our earth and their earth and the portal is the singularity and did anyone notice the words “suddenly appeared out of nowhere”?

    imagine a harvester just spawns in your crawl farm one day and you can never go there again

  • @Atomic_God499
    @Atomic_God499 Год назад +5

    my theory: what if the singularity isnt necessarily living, but it is instead a body shield for "the prince" so he shouldnt be harmed, and as a bonus defense, the monoliths are the more living set of defenses, that circle the singularity, simpily waiting for the prince to awake, which would most likely cause an apocalypse of even more species to be born and the current species growing to be much more aggressive

    I remember I used to do stuff like this in school way back, those drawings and the hand writting being very childish reminded me and made me wish I was a kid in this day and age so I could make stuff like this.
    Not scary at all, and it's quite weak world building, but it's really nice horror for kids. Hope the creator keeps it up!
