Heiko great job it's a slob.! It looks like it weighs 45 to 50 lb. I believe you guys should have spent another hour fishing to see if you can get another one. But then again your mission was accomplished in great fashion. Just to give you a little tip as far as Wahoo fishing when you find a piece of debris preferably with triple tail on it I will almost bet my life on it there are wahoo on that debris. I usually deploy a horse Ballyhoo naked double hooked on the downrigger about 80 ft deep intro 6-8 knots back and forth in all different directions.. once I find the direction that they are striking I continued that direction and usually pick up more wahoo. It is quite odd that in most cases they only hit when the bait is being trolled in a certain direction. In most cases there are a multitude of wahoo on this type of debris with the triple tail. I have crushed the wahoo on pallets, tree trunks, tree branches, 50 gallon drums, planks of plywood and probably the most unusual was an abandoned Cuban raft off of Key Largo where I caught 23 wahoo between 15 and 22 lb. You would assume that there would be a plethora of dolphin? But we only caught two between the weights of 15 and 18 lb a bull and a cow and those were the only dolphins that we saw and caught. But always go deep on a nice piece of debris that has triple tail on it or any other type of debris that has a lot of bait on it always give it a try. May I suggest a downrigger for your fine vessel. Great job Heiko tight work. lastly I wanted to mention that Captain Dan and yourself make a great team.

Going back to watch some of your older stuff to add to the Al Gore Rhythm (never would I have imagined he had any). As a non-saltwater fisherman I can't believe the speeds at which you troll. Those look more like watersking speeds than trolling speeds to this inland fisherman. Perhps one could combine the trolling and the watersking into one recreational activity if the skier was willing to have a 100 ft line and lure attached to his PFD. LOL GREAT video action, just saying! wink😉😜
