What a great podcast and briggsy is a fantastic angler who is a great humble person. He has been a inspiration to many people including myself. Love his videos and stories. And his photo album and fish captures are amazing and his big fish 50lb + captures is just a great achievement. He’s a legend in carp fishing. And wish him the best for the future
I have been a big fan of Steve for many years with his You Tube videos. A big asset to Nash and who doesn't love Joan. These four hours just flew past! :) Good luck with your European adventures.
One of the legends. Great to hear his story of South Africa. I was there two weeks after Steve on invitation as well and can totally relate to the once in a lifetime experience. Fished in Johannesburg on another lake after that close to some not so safe suburbs. Heard machine gun fire every evening...crazy.
What a legend of the game, been a staple of carp fishing for my life and I'm 31. Just want to add, Hassan, noted that you said you have roots in Afghanistan, just wanna say I really hope any of your family and friends that may still be there are safe and well, and able to get out if they wish to do so mate.
South america also have a lot of wild carp, mostly in the southwest of the country !! Mr Briggs and Mr Blair are a real inspiration for me. Tight lines from Brazil !!
Steve and Joan meet them both at Parco what a lovely couple, I’ve got friends who know them both and I’ve always said if there’s one angler I’d like to meet was Steve what a top angler and a top bloke 👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻.
Never really heard of Steve, seems like a lovely fella, good to hear someone saying about boats being the most affective way for him to fish. Someone I’ll definitely take a little of time to listen too, been watching Elliot a lot lately, definitely think he is the dark horse for Urban banks
I was playing a mid 20 in 97 from that swim when my landing net lifted up and John said need a hand ?? Omg the man himself !! Kettle on and a cuppa what a guy he was
Steve is the Lionel Messi of carp fishing hes a serious angler and his photo albums says it all ,the greatest big fish angler of modern times it's that simple 🐟👌❤
Basically because it was about the first 50 from each country and my first Austrian 50 came several years before the 72 - although maybe it could be part of another podcast in the future?!
@@stevebriggs4638 yeah i understand. The stories about these fish are fantastic. I watch every single one of your videos and definitely got more patience and confidence in my bait and rigs because of them/you.!!!
Do love listening to Steve! But listen lads, we’ve been asking for Life at Nash for a while now, and you keep hitting us with 👀hinting it’s coming, and it hasn’t, what’s going on? If you reply with 👀I’m selling my r3s for delks
Australia is crazy carp fishing but you have to kill all you catch...i went over for 6 weeks and put them all back had loads of dirty looks and they tried to nick me once lol..99% of fish are under 10lb, i caught a 17lb common with 1 eye and talking to an old man who had carp fished for years over there he said hes never seen 1 that big and didnt believe me until i showed him the photo and it was my 1st fish over their...never seen 1 anywhere near that size after lol
I fished in Australia on the rivers your supposed to kill carp there as they have ruined the waters, I just caught catfish and turtles, the Aussies thought I was mad fishing for them, well shady fishing, looking for snakes etc
