A correction I want to point out at 2:13 you don't actually have to swirl for the 20% EM share all Sucrose has to do is hit an enemy with E or Q. The other passive for 50 EM does indeed require swirl.
It is unconditional, which means that Sucrose might be better used in against Slims, Cub bosses, electric birds and anything with perminant element infusion on themselves.
I was mistaken too. The other day I hit an Anemo slime with Zhongli’s pillar then used Sucrose’s Skill to farm particles for my Xiao and all my party members got the buff icon and had their EM increased. This made me really confused as there was no other element I thought she swirled Geo which shouldn’t be possible.
As a Sucrose connoisseur, I'd like to point out that, while it is true that infusing her burst is harder than with Kazuha, you can learn to pretty consistently proc the infusion by learning the spacing at which you need to be from the affected enemy while casting her Q. Yes, I will agree that it's not nearly as comfortable as Kazuha's burst, but to say that you'll never proc the infusion consistently is an overexaggeration. I can proc the infusion quite consistently, it's just a matter of practice.
I actually have trouble getting the right element to absorb with Kazuha but that's probably because Sucrose is with Xiangling and pyro has high priority so always works and Kazuha is with Ayaka and cryo has the lowest priority
Yup. Moreover on teams where you have a character that can self infuse like Bennett/Beidou infusing that respective element is pretty free because you can dash into the center and infuse with your own body
I am also a sucrose main and I want to point out her c6 is not important so u don't need to activately try to use it /think of it like hu Tao a1 passive it's a nice dmg bump not a must that u build your team around it 😁

@@ame5851 Well, it depends a lot on the luck of the players. I've been playing Genshin Impact since 1st anniversary (technically I tried on release but the game was draining my old phone's battery too quickly) and even though I have a few 4* c6 (Bennett and Xiangling) most are between c0 and c2. At best c4 for a minority of them (Yun Jin, Yaoyao, Razor). Also if I'm watching this video today it's because I just got my first copy of Sucrose and yet I tried to get her during other rate-up but unfortunately she never came. So you know what, I'm going to go further than the comment you were responding to by saying that getting a particular 4* is often more difficult than the featured 5*. Anyway that's what I can see via several streamers wanting at least a copy of all the characters and via my own experience with Gorou, Sucrose and my failed attempts to obtain constellations for Xingqiu, Fischl and Beidou.
I am sry if I offend you, as Kittybitten told if it was kazuha got hit and got wet then his burst is hydro infused. So cutting the role of switching to ayaka and following the eye of sucrose burst. But I love both of them and i am too reliant on them.

Childe is better for F2P while Ayato is better for whales and mono hydro (also Ayato is better in taser and as hyper carry) Tho Childe is the king of International team and has better synergy with Kazuha, Bennet and Xiangling due to having easier setup and also a big nuke in his burst, while Ayato is just consistent damage
Childe >>> for Vape, but Ayato is the only Hydro character that's decentish at Vape Freeze and Taser so his value is more versatility than power in a single team.
Honestly you can't really go wrong with either of them. Even if you stop using Sucrose as a buffer due to getting Kazoozoo, since she is still the better team driver for certain comps, she will always have solid use cases. That and having two anemo buffers for abyss isn't a bad thing. I can see the potential for dendro being added to some existing taser comps where an anemo driver would still be appreciated as well. Kazuha is over all better than Sucrose but Sucrose is still good enough to maintain a meta presence for the foreseeable future.
I agree, using like 3 cryo supports/dps with sucrose C6, its more consistent to infuse her burst due to the sheer amount of E and Q skills you have. But sucrose burst is very short, so the buff window is once in a long while. While Kazuha can have 100% uptime on E-DMG bonus.
@@maddasher8471 In most cases. There are exceptions such as enemies that generate their own elemental auras (slimes, some shields and some bosses). Example, using mono pyro on current floor 11. TM self infuses electro so the EM buffing would benefit the overload damage. It isn't a big deal but it is something. I actually made use of that on my catalyst only. Sucrose's skill and burst were able to consistently make all of Klee's mines hit the TM and the overload damage was not negligible. Granted this was on a challenge account with clearly off meta comps.
Finally someone point that out. Should been obvious but people still praise Kazuha saying that he "unlocks" mono element but C6 Sucrose was doing that for a long time bro...
Did not know anemo traveller prioritized cryo over the other elements. As someone who runs double cryo/anemo, Ayaka,Shenhe,Kazuha,Jean an anemo infusion grouper that prioritizes cryo to consistently take advantage of shenhe quills and use a cryo goblet is at the top of my list of characters I want now. I was thinking the other day that they should make a character like that. Might have to experiment with traveler for fun now.

I might get called out SkillIssue and everything, but I think one of the reason why people think sucrose is abit hard is that she doesnt really have any interruption resistance in comparison to Kazuha when casting their skills. (if you played Kazuha before, you'll definetely feel you dont get interrupted as easily)
I use Prototype Amber on my Sucrose so I don't have to bring a healer. If you posses at least a little bit of skill and don't get hit every second it's more than enough to heal the party and you still get all the sucrose EM buffs and VV shred. I'll probably use it on Kusanali in the future too Suske.
Plus the fact that with Prototype Amber, we can get some crit value more than having to roll for ER stats, it's my favorite weapon on Sucrose too, too OP in comps that aren't EM reliant!
8:55 that's not what Zajef said though. Have you counted in the em sucrose gives to childe's burst? Between the ttds buff giving your team's main carry huge boost and childe's burst vape being a big part of his overall damage and him already having some hydro damage bonus from other sources, ascension included, I wouldn't be so sure about this statement.

Tenten is right in a general way but realistically who is better will vary by team comp and artifact quality. Weapon choices can also make small differences in who is preferred. Since all stats have some degree of diminishing returns, what buffs you want is going to somewhat depend. If your Hu Tao is running an HP sands due to not having a good EM one for her, Sucrose's EM buffing may matter more than Kazoozoo's elemental damage buff, as an example (Hu Tao already gets a massive amount of pyro damage bonus from her kit).
@@pan_lonheyy1046 In his kazuha prerelease videos he implied Sucrose gives more damage even if they both double swirl. Consistency is a different matter, of course, but i don't think it's that hard to consistently double swirl with kazoo using the rotations he gave us.
Sucrose buffs xiangling more because of ttds and xiangling fully utilizes the em in most hits whereas kazuha benefits childe more as he cant use em to buff charged attacks and autos but he can use the dmg bonus to do so as well as his burst. Most of the time xiangling contributes slightly more overall team dps so sucrose buffs the team more but kazuhas personal swirl dps especially in aoe is much higher so hes usually better than sucrose for the team. Even then the difference is super minimal, and sucrose can end up being better depending on if ur xiangling is much more invested than ur childe and kazuha can become even more valueable if ur childe is a lot more invested than xiangling
2:00 If you have Xingqiu and Hutao, and swirl hydro with Kazuha, all your team (Xingqiu, Hutao, Kazuha and an eventual 4th member) would get their hydro damage bonus buffed, not only Xingqiu like the video states
So 5* Sucrose really is a 5*! I think Sucrose is still very good, but the fact that Kazuha's skill and burst are centered on him really makes such a difference to ease of play. Plus, giving him a sac sword and double plunging is really satisfying!
Sucrose is better in number and being more versatile, Kazuha is better in ease of play. Here is the problem. Most people underestimate how valuable "ease of play" is when the game is over 2 years old at this point and damage being none issue. Easy to play character scale to late game more than those with just better number.
One thing is that Sucrose is easily accessible since she is a 4* character and Kazuha is not. So meanwhile you will be comparing C6 Sucrose with C0 Kazuha but sometimes it's will be C0 Sucrose and Qiqi.
Note that almost everything he said applies to C0 Sucrose, so this video is more like a C0 Sucrose vs C0 Kazuha, and yes, one of them is obviously more accessible.
1:48 ALL members of your team get the elemental damage buff, not just the characters of that elemental type. While it does nothing for thr character, Hu Tao will still get Hydro dmg bonus if Kazuha swirled Hydro and Xingqiu will still get Pyro dmg bonus if Kazuha swirls Pyro.

I personally prefer Sucrose infinity times more, but both are excellent units and it is obvious that a 5* HAS to perform better than a 4* (otherwise no money for Hoyo), but just don't be an asshole and undermine one character or the other(especially to Sucrose since Kazuha mains won't shut up about their "Messiah").
To sum up we're looking at C6 Sucrose vs C0 Kazuha 20% Dmg , 35 % Reaction dmg , 48% ATK for 10s vs 30-40% pure damage bonus To conclude. Sucrose and Kazuha work on PHEC priority when doing absorption. Sucrose needs 200% ER to provide her team with the damage bonus Kazuha can provide 40% dmg by focusing on 900-1000EM or , 30% dmg which enable more reaction with his burst following PHEC In a team that focus on Reaction dmg such as Hu tao with Crimson Witch. Sucrose will provide 55% Dmg bonus, 48% ATK. This can heavily outdps a kazuha team IF the applicator is not a sub-dps such as Kokom or if the sub-dps don't provide substantial dps. Furthermore, Sucrose Burst however has a delay interval which makes it hard to follow PHEC. HOWEVER, a Kazuha team can provide easier consistency to PHEC by swirling every element easily with shorter icd on burst and longer duration on his burst which allows for more reactions and absorption and thus dmg bonus based on absorption. This means that Kazuha can buff his team made up of different element easier so if we to compare: Hu Tao + Yelan + Sucrose < Hu Tao + Yelan + Kazuha Hu Tao + 20% dmg , 35% Reaction dmg, 48% ATK < Hu tao +40% dmg , Yelan + 40% dmg Sucrose 'may' buff yelan dmg but it's very unlike to occur under PHEC
Im playing this game since first Update and I'm stuck with C4 Sucrose like half a year already....i even skipped kazuhas first Banner. Now I'm just like whatever XD let's bring this kazuha home, the odds are just more favorable to get him than waiting another year for more Sucrose Constellations....
I think it is also important to say on when Iron Sting is better than Favge. The scenarios are quite specific. 1) When kazuha is in a team together with Raiden as his ER requirement there drops to almost 0 ER roll needed. 2) An Ayaka freeze team that has 2nd cryo on Favge already as this makes the ER requirement to be around 130%. Outside of these teams then Favge is better (unless ofc u have freedom sworn)
I mean C2 Kazuha still boosts his EM transfer to the team by like 8% and his own personal swirl damage so its still good in comps that dont utilize EM. That being said of course it wouldnt be nearly as good as if you were running in something like international. Also not sure if you mentioned Freedom Sworn, but the gap gets even bigger if he was using it since you also inclucded TTDS for Sucrose. Yes TTDS is more F2P friendly but lets not act like Freedom isn't obtainable as a F2P.
Freedom sworn + kazuha is pretty much unobtainable for strictly F2P lol (no welkin/BP) unless you either get really lucky or skip a lot of characters and go all in, and I do mean skipping A LOT. Even low spenders (welkin+BP only) will find it hard if they get unlucky.
At the probable cost of one and a half 5* characters. Unless you already have what you want as far as characters go, I wouldn't recommend f2p players wishing on the weapon banner
Kazuha C2 was a social experiment to see how much hundreds of dollars people are willing to spend to give Xiangling 200 EM. Also Freedom Sworn is a Fav Sword sidegrade on energy hungry teams which is basically all of Kazuha's good ones (International, Freeze) except Raiden Hyper
@@mia_2043 FS isn't even that much better than Iron Sting in Raiden Hyper if you ask me, especially at R1. It's a pretty noticeable upgrade (with enough ER) if you're playing Ganyu and Hu Tao tho.
It is standard practice for western TC to NOT include 5 star weapon in their damage comparison calcs unlike chinese TC because the result will be obvious. The team with 5 star character that use their signature weapon WILL obviously be better, which can incentivize people to go for the weapon and that is not something they'd recommend.
Tbh, I think Kazuha is still worth the time (or money) invested on him even when Sucrose can do just about as much as him in terms of utility and damage buff. As a low spender, I am not against pulling for characters that requires high investment, since it gives me something to look forward to long-term. Resource management is part what makes Genshin endgame fun, imo. With that said, I prefer Kazuha over Sucrose because of the added playstyle and utility brought by his constellations. He is a character that you can look forward to building and using (and collect constellation) for a long time. I had him C0 for a year and I recently saved enough to get him to C2. The cool down reset and EM buff brought something new to my team composition and rotation that I'm actually looking forward to clearing abyss again. However, he is still not a must pull, especially if you don't care at all for his lore, personality, and playstyle. And I agree that no one should be spending any money on this game unless they truly have disposable income.
Good analysis 1010. One major thing missing is the "comfort" aspect for both characters, which is that Kazuha generally has higher uptime on his E and Q especially if Sucrose is running TTDS. In a good run this doesn't matter if you are adept with Sucrose, but in scuffed runs or in new situations Kazuha is a much more flexible and reliable character. Also, Sucrose HP is so low, she dies easily.
I think one of the most important things to repeat regularly is that there is NO CONTENT in the game that requires Kazuha's c2 (or any other constellations) and this is the main reason why players should avoid pulling for constellations. Pure damage constellations have no real value in this game. But constellations that give convenience or new opportunities are much more interesting. For example, for Kazuha, the first constellation is more interesting than the second (even so, imo it's not interesting enough to spend money on it) As for Kazuha himself, I personally used Sucrose almost always before getting Kazuha. Now, for me, he is a permanent member of the group when traveling around Teyvat. The convenience he provides are indescribable.
There is no content that requires 5-star characters or 5-star weapons either, but people got to use their primogems for something. Nevertheless I agree that more characters is generally better than more constellations...up to a point.
For the exact same reason that there's no hard content is why I pulled for Kazuha C2. I don't want new characters that takes literally months to build because of the awful artifacts system drop rates. I prefer to make my enjoyable characters stronger and comfy, Kazuha C1 and C2 makes him way more comfy to play for me, next I'll snipe for Shenhe C2 because I want her extra seconds for her ult.

I'm just trying to warn players that trying to make the team stronger and stronger in the end you will be disappointed, from the pointlessness of the time spent, when you could enjoy playing for different characters.

I run a lot C6 Sucrose + Xiangling + Xingqiu + Bennett and for me I can infuse Sucrose's ult pretty consistent with Pyro so my Xiangling can snapshot it. I just do the following rotation: Sucrose burst + Bennett E in the burst + Q + Xiangling QE+ Sucrose E + Xingqiu + QE + Sucrose AA.
It's actually incorrect that Kazuha only buffs the party member who's element he swirls. He actually gives the element damage bonus to all party members, it's just the other party members can't make use of the buff

Using sucrose since when I dont have either venti or kazuha in multiple teams with multiple characters or since patch 1.2. I love her elf ears and nerdy girl aestheic but man.. I hate playing her sometimes, so she is benched for me as i use venti(freeze) and kazuha(rest). For me I think kazuha personal offield dmg in aoe scenario, much superior grouping, and his versatility really makes him just a better unit for me. Also he is fun to play and also have much smoother gameplay and kit design. Altough i admit sucrose is very strong unit and "the buffing" difference is not that much.
@@cybergamer__ venti teams are very niche these days tbh .. mostly two team which are Ayaka and ganyu team.. i play Ayaka ganyu freeze and i like him there more than kazuha coz 15 energy refund actually really helpful and i don't need more DMG.. i just need smoother rotation in that team.. Other than that venti is just a tech in option in those type of content where you face wave after wave (like one event we have a month ago) .. you can pair him with raiden, ayato,ganyu ets in mob floors and he work pretty well.
I'd like to clarify something. The video says only the character of the corresponding element gets the bonus from Kazuha's swirls, e.g. pyro dmg bonus to hutao and hydro to xingqiu, but that's not really the case. In-game, and yes I've tested this multiple times before, EVERY CHARACTER receives the elemental dmg bonus. However, only the character with the same element that was swirled can make use of the dmg bonus. For example, if you swirl hydro first then swirl pyro with Kazuha (assuming that you actually managed to double swirl correctly) then every single character in your entire team receives the additional elemental dmg, meaning your Hutao/Xiangling, Xingqiu/Childe, and Kazuha will have the additional 30% or so elemental dmg bonus for both pyro and hydro. You can test this out for yourselves but I swear that every single character will have that dmg bonus, whether said character can actually utilize that elemental dmg buff is something else though.
Why a lot of people pull Kazuha: Easy + strong buff, looks cool, does good damage Why i pulled him: 1. My Mono Pyro Klee needed a upgrade because... well it's Klee of course i need a upgrade if i paly Klee 2. I always need a free Sucerose for Sucerose Taser.
This. I was kazoo skiper, but now, i play to many mono element teams from time to time. Like monohydro with Mona as a driver, monoelectro with onfield like keqing or lisa, and monocryo with all 3 top waifu (ayaka shenhe ganyu). He is really necessary if you play shiz like that.
@@volodyan7780 I am going to recommend Barbara for monohydro. Her forgotten C2 is actually useful and has other useful utility that Mona doesn't have, unless Mona's burst is too important to give up.

Both of them are great and any account would be improved by having both. Though I do prefer Kazuha more just because he's easier to use (for me), which is why I pulled him to C2 to give him the power of a 1000 EM Sucrose. If I were to add to the video, it would be that both of their C1 are (imo) very good QoL that is not limited to just energy requirements. For Kazuha, it can smoothen rotations and provides and additional chance to swirl another element if needed and/or in case you messed up your double VV swirl. This is why although fav sword is great for him, I personally rather like sac sword for C0 Kazuha. As for Sucrose, the additional E charge helps in the positioning of targets so that her Q would land directly on the enemies and so be able to absorb an element more consistently. For particle funneling, the more commonly known method is to EQE but this somewhat wastes the particles from the 2nd E. I prefer EEQ since her E has a very short cast animation. Though I personally do E>dash>EQ as her E is one of the very few abilities in this game that can cancel you out of a dash animation (opposite of using a dash to cancel out of a skill/attack animation) thereby making the 2 E's be cast near simultaneously. However, using her E's successively with her Q (in any combination, but preferably E first to group the targets before tossing Q right on top) is only recommended in multi-target because her E can only swirl (consume element gauge; spread only happens in multi-target) and doesn't feature elemental absorption (therefore can't reapply absorbed element like Kazuha's E).
Just to point out because the video doesnt say this, but a c0 Sucrose is as good and sometimes better then c0 Kazuha. Just let that sink in, when considering how good Sucrose is.
They are pretty much similar, i would say that Kazuha is slightly better overall, but theres 2 reasons that makes Kazuha stronger: 1 - Consistency: Kazuha can do his stuff with more consistency than sucrose, and imo meta is not about max potential, but instead consistency of finishing abyss under the time. 2 - Non Veteran Players: Ok i know this is not a pretty good argument for everyone, but for accounts who misses some characters Kazuha can make some weaker units/teams perform better, one personal example was the fact i had to run mono pyro Diluc during 2.0 because i missed Xingqiu, but kazuha helped me, that can be true for other teams like Freeze Kaeya/Rosaria.
1. What kind of consistency you are talking about? Grouping? I agee. But double swirling for national team? nah. 2. "weaker" team doens't mean less or more investment. National team, or even soup team is as free as you can get. And Sucrose is better at that. Xingqui, Fishl and Xiangling are all absolutely free as long as you do the event without having to roll even once.
@@cynt4416 the problem with national team is that it requires 4 out of the top 5 characters in genshin and you need 2 teams.for the abyss, this is a problem for non whales/new players, as you can read the team examples i gave earlier, and even for veteran players the national team is kinda hard to build because most meta teams (except freeze) needs at least one of those 3 characters.
Sucrose and her teammates can force the infusion by walking on top of her burst while affected by any of the elements, the same way Kazuha can apply Pyro with Bennett Burst. Just sucks that applying the other elements to self is so limited compared to Bennett burst. Cryo: Diona applies Cryo on shield creation, and every time the player swaps to another character while the shield is still up. Hydro: Xingqiu, Kokomi and Barbara all apply hydro to self on cast of their Elemental Skills, but only Barbara can apply wet multiple times with the same Elemental Skill over its duration. Electro: Beidou applies electro to herself when pressing/holding her Elemental Skill. Pyro: Bennett, Xinyan and Thoma. Xinyan shield can apply pyro on cast and every time the player swaps to other characters (same as Diona). Everyone should already know how Bennett works. Thoma applies pyro to self on shield creation, but this applies to ONLY Thoma, swapping characters won't apply pyro and the Burst shield only gives pyro when Thoma is the active character. When are we going to get more supports with cleanse effects for Electro and Hydro?
To segue from what the video is about, can we just all appreciate that Childe charged atk to skill moment at 5:52? That is pretty hard to do and yet Ten manages to do his rotation very smoothly right after
The only issue I have with sucrose is her targeting, there'll be a group of enemies with one enemies slightly to the side of them... She'll turn and target the one instead of the group. Shell also pop her burst to the side of the enemies 😑 maybe I'm doing something wrong, pity because I really like her character but she's so slow and clunky for me
that is actually easy to fix by practicing. a lot of characters in Genshin has auto target issues, proper positioning and practice practice practice and you'll learn how to use them comfortably. If you think she feels slow, don't worry, just dash after clicking her E or Q, it significantly reduces her on-field time if used as a support and speeds up CC for on-field driver Sucrose.
Sucrose still does a better job buffing my taser comp (Yae Miko, Kokomi, Fischl, Sucrose) than what my Kazuha can do. He is c0 while Sucrose c6 and as for stats both lv90, Sucrose 904 EM, Kazuha 947 EM. I see stronger damage from my characters with Sucrose than I do with Kazua but that is likely due to Yae's EM passive skill kicking in. Also the amount of damage Sucrose can do with her double swirls is insane. In AoE situations when you swirl it applies that swirl element to all nearby enemies. Now if you swirl say hydro and electro together Sucrose then triggers electro charged reaction off her EM and it hits really hard. From my own testing one E on Sucrose was about 42k damage in AoE. 3.5k of it was base damage of her skill and the rest was the swirls and electro charged hits. She can do that kind of damage AND she can buff the party with a strong buff AND shred resists with 4 set VV. She is downright broken strong. Though one thing is for sure, to me she is far cuter than Kazuha......
I didn’t realize I was an international player until I got Kazuha. But my favorite team to run is such jank, I love it. Buffs go brrrrr. Rosaria/Kazuha/Diona/Bennett. Who needs a DPS. But to be fair, I’ve hit 212K Bennett Q when he’s only working with 1600 ATK and 90 CDMG on this team.
Almost everyone will say that kazuha is better after watching your vid, not good 1010, you're still biased. I'm not sure with "kazuha will always outperform sucrose if you do double swirl" especially in vape/melt team, especially if suc also do double swirl bcos sometimes megabuff (vv shred, EM and atk) your sole carry is more important than buff your other teammate (just xtra dmg bonus vs suc since she can also double swirl). Its just literally a point and click. i.e Raiden / or any carry with bennet, apply element throw succrose bottle wait for butterfly flap then boom infused before you bump that bennet ult so that the pyro wont be unfused. At 1:50, you say the bonus is only for party members of that same element, while the others "don't really get it". While it's true there's nothing a Hu Tao can do with +30%-ish Hydro DMG buff, it's not true she doesn't get it. All characters in the party get an elemental buff for each element swirl trigger. If their damage doesn't benefit from it that's another thing entirely.
Sucrose is best girl, she can ATK, enable, buff and heal. I have an invested Sucrose but rolled on kazuha this time cause I lost on his first banner. Kazuha buff even in Raiden team is only 10k more than my C6 Sucrose but the team have smoother rotation. Kazuha is easier to use than Sucrose but Sucrose value is much higher for my account as I don’t have Childe for international and Gouba swirl is easier than double swirl Ayato/Xiangling than double swirl with kazuha.
What's the point of Sucrose's Burst Elemental Infusion priority if the required is just to touch the butterfly thingy with element? Shouldn't it be just "First touch, first fuse"?
Maybe Hoyoverse just taking into account should there be a time that an enemy that first touches the Burst is both have for example hydro and pyro status in it that's when the element infusion priority will be consider

If you for example swirl hydro with kazuha and give them the dmg buff and swirl pyro afterwards within the timespan of 8 secs, do both elements get the % dmg boost or only the last one?
Each element is a separate buff. They can overlap, but one does not refresh the other. Generally you want to line them up together for rotation purposes.

It's common for her to be built with like 600 something when using TTDS, Hakushin, or Prototype. So if you use her skill on something, she'll give 120+. If you swirl pyro, pyro characters will get 50 more EM.
For me is the crowd control that makes Kazuha invaluable in my team comps. There's also how easy is to double vape with him compared to Sucrose and the fact that you always have 100% control over where his E and especially his Q land on the battlefield while Sucrose skills can land all over the place. Also his elemental infusions are WAY more consistent. Kazuha is way better than Sucrose IMFHO.
But kazuha's crowd control isn't even that useful in many comps, cuz by the time you finish setting up your rotation, enemies have already ungrouped from his E, also, double swirl difficulty depends on the team, in some teams it is easier to double swirl with sucrose. But yes, his infusion consistency is a nice touch. Doesn't make him way better than sucrose tho.
Yeah kazu is definetly easier and more fun for sure but in terms of dmg and also universal application in all sorts spiral abyss iterations sucrose is definetly better. If cc is what makes kazuha invaluable then you're also saying on floors where enemies are unaffected by anemo cc sucrose raw output is going to be stronger. They're very comparable units and kazuha is definetly easier and cooler but not as universal.
That's why I said IMFHO at the end xD. It's for me, personally. In fact I used to be a sucrose lover and my Sucrose is super invested (lvl 90, wep 90, even I leveld her talents to get every little drop of dmg out of her) but after using Kazuha I just never touched her again. But I'm aware of how awesome and powerful she is. If you only care about numbers, both are equally good, but I really prefer Kazuha over Sucrose. The last time I had fun with her was with Sukokomon, that team was insane haha

Sucrose can run a couple other weapons besides just thrilling tales or sacrificial fragments although imo I don’t know who else can run SF so I have her running it (Copium incoming 😂) -widsith (driver sucrose, excellent RNG em buff) -oathsworn eye (48% er bonus after using skill for fast burst) -hakushin ring (taser, can give 20% elemental buff when she triggers electro swirl or electro charge at R5) -favonius codex (give her some crit substats to make her a battery) -prototype amber(makes her less squishy, energy and health regen when she bursts) -technically mappa mare (EM and elemental damage bonus for taser driver) but you’d probably be better off crafting the other catalysts She feels a lot more flexible for builds and roles in the team where most people agree you should be running favonius sword Kazuha for burst spam or sac sword for skill spam (rip xingqiu)
Somehow got to c2 Kazuha earlier today while looking for Heizou. Still no Heizou, guess im waiting for his rerun before trying again. I hate that there's no 4* guarantee so much.
Honestly after getting Kazuha on his rerun, i can see why people say that their gap is not that huge. Like i would much prefer using Sucrose as the driver in a taser comp, and national comp (don't have Childe so it feels kinda awkward slotting in Kazuha) , though I do use Kazuha in a taser team if Raiden is the the onfield carry. Everything else I just use Kazuha (Raiden hyper, Ayaka Freeze, etc.) Though one thing for sure though, unlike Sucrose, I use Kazuha in almost all of my dailies, he's such a great QoL upgrade to my account.
You don't really tase with Kazuha The point of Taser Is to have Fischl, Beidou XingQiu range elements to apply on them, causing Electro charged Then Sucrose job is to group them up and swirl all the elements against each other when they closely packed and continuing to swirl more dmg out while having the constell to reduce her E Skill to group faster for more swirl, essentially quadratic scaling like Venti Kazuha can't fulfil that level of grouping frequency, while it does swirl enemies with his Burst, after his E grouping ends, most enemies will end up dispersing away, resulting swirling only each individual on its own, not able to fulfil that quadratic scaling concept Kazuha is better off with melt / vape / freeze / mono teams Generally anything that requires that momentary ease of grouping that will lead to fast damage output or conditional grouping into a setup

A correction I want to point out at 2:13 you don't actually have to swirl for the 20% EM share all Sucrose has to do is hit an enemy with E or Q. The other passive for 50 EM does indeed require swirl.

The other day I hit an Anemo slime with Zhongli’s pillar then used Sucrose’s Skill to farm particles for my Xiao and all my party members got the buff icon and had their EM increased. This made me really confused as there was no other element I thought she swirled Geo which shouldn’t be possible.

As a Sucrose connoisseur, I'd like to point out that, while it is true that infusing her burst is harder than with Kazuha, you can learn to pretty consistently proc the infusion by learning the spacing at which you need to be from the affected enemy while casting her Q. Yes, I will agree that it's not nearly as comfortable as Kazuha's burst, but to say that you'll never proc the infusion consistently is an overexaggeration. I can proc the infusion quite consistently, it's just a matter of practice.

I actually have trouble getting the right element to absorb with Kazuha but that's probably because Sucrose is with Xiangling and pyro has high priority so always works and Kazuha is with Ayaka and cryo has the lowest priority

I've been playing Genshin Impact since 1st anniversary (technically I tried on release but the game was draining my old phone's battery too quickly) and even though I have a few 4* c6 (Bennett and Xiangling) most are between c0 and c2. At best c4 for a minority of them (Yun Jin, Yaoyao, Razor).
Also if I'm watching this video today it's because I just got my first copy of Sucrose and yet I tried to get her during other rate-up but unfortunately she never came.
So you know what, I'm going to go further than the comment you were responding to by saying that getting a particular 4* is often more difficult than the featured 5*. Anyway that's what I can see via several streamers wanting at least a copy of all the characters and via my own experience with Gorou, Sucrose and my failed attempts to obtain constellations for Xingqiu, Fischl and Beidou.
I remember that one ayaka who used freeze WITHOUT a hydro, but sucrose only. That is a not your average genshin player definately.

They have their own strength and weaknesses and they work better than the other in some situation. Well I use both anyway they are both OP.

Honestly you can't really go wrong with either of them. Even if you stop using Sucrose as a buffer due to getting Kazoozoo, since she is still the better team driver for certain comps, she will always have solid use cases. That and having two anemo buffers for abyss isn't a bad thing. I can see the potential for dendro being added to some existing taser comps where an anemo driver would still be appreciated as well. Kazuha is over all better than Sucrose but Sucrose is still good enough to maintain a meta presence for the foreseeable future.

I agree, using like 3 cryo supports/dps with sucrose C6, its more consistent to infuse her burst due to the sheer amount of E and Q skills you have.
But sucrose burst is very short, so the buff window is once in a long while. While Kazuha can have 100% uptime on E-DMG bonus.

@@maddasher8471 In most cases. There are exceptions such as enemies that generate their own elemental auras (slimes, some shields and some bosses). Example, using mono pyro on current floor 11. TM self infuses electro so the EM buffing would benefit the overload damage. It isn't a big deal but it is something. I actually made use of that on my catalyst only. Sucrose's skill and burst were able to consistently make all of Klee's mines hit the TM and the overload damage was not negligible. Granted this was on a challenge account with clearly off meta comps.
Finally someone point that out. Should been obvious but people still praise Kazuha saying that he "unlocks" mono element but C6 Sucrose was doing that for a long time bro...
Did not know anemo traveller prioritized cryo over the other elements. As someone who runs double cryo/anemo, Ayaka,Shenhe,Kazuha,Jean an anemo infusion grouper that prioritizes cryo to consistently take advantage of shenhe quills and use a cryo goblet is at the top of my list of characters I want now. I was thinking the other day that they should make a character like that. Might have to experiment with traveler for fun now.

I might get called out SkillIssue and everything, but I think one of the reason why people think sucrose is abit hard is that she doesnt really have any interruption resistance in comparison to Kazuha when casting their skills. (if you played Kazuha before, you'll definetely feel you dont get interrupted as easily)

I use Prototype Amber on my Sucrose so I don't have to bring a healer. If you posses at least a little bit of skill and don't get hit every second it's more than enough to heal the party and you still get all the sucrose EM buffs and VV shred. I'll probably use it on Kusanali in the future too Suske.
Plus the fact that with Prototype Amber, we can get some crit value more than having to roll for ER stats, it's my favorite weapon on Sucrose too, too OP in comps that aren't EM reliant!

Tenten is right in a general way but realistically who is better will vary by team comp and artifact quality. Weapon choices can also make small differences in who is preferred. Since all stats have some degree of diminishing returns, what buffs you want is going to somewhat depend. If your Hu Tao is running an HP sands due to not having a good EM one for her, Sucrose's EM buffing may matter more than Kazoozoo's elemental damage buff, as an example (Hu Tao already gets a massive amount of pyro damage bonus from her kit).
@@pan_lonheyy1046 In his kazuha prerelease videos he implied Sucrose gives more damage even if they both double swirl. Consistency is a different matter, of course, but i don't think it's that hard to consistently double swirl with kazoo using the rotations he gave us.
Sucrose buffs xiangling more because of ttds and xiangling fully utilizes the em in most hits whereas kazuha benefits childe more as he cant use em to buff charged attacks and autos but he can use the dmg bonus to do so as well as his burst. Most of the time xiangling contributes slightly more overall team dps so sucrose buffs the team more but kazuhas personal swirl dps especially in aoe is much higher so hes usually better than sucrose for the team. Even then the difference is super minimal, and sucrose can end up being better depending on if ur xiangling is much more invested than ur childe and kazuha can become even more valueable if ur childe is a lot more invested than xiangling

I think Sucrose is still very good, but the fact that Kazuha's skill and burst are centered on him really makes such a difference to ease of play. Plus, giving him a sac sword and double plunging is really satisfying!
Sucrose is better in number and being more versatile, Kazuha is better in ease of play.
Here is the problem. Most people underestimate how valuable "ease of play" is when the game is over 2 years old at this point and damage being none issue. Easy to play character scale to late game more than those with just better number.

Sucrose and Kazuha work on PHEC priority when doing absorption.
Sucrose needs 200% ER to provide her team with the damage bonus
Kazuha can provide 40% dmg by focusing on 900-1000EM or , 30% dmg which enable more reaction with his burst following PHEC
In a team that focus on Reaction dmg such as Hu tao with Crimson Witch.
Sucrose will provide 55% Dmg bonus, 48% ATK. This can heavily outdps a kazuha team IF the applicator is not a sub-dps such as Kokom or if the sub-dps don't provide substantial dps. Furthermore, Sucrose Burst however has a delay interval which makes it hard to follow PHEC.
HOWEVER, a Kazuha team can provide easier consistency to PHEC by swirling every element easily
with shorter icd on burst and longer duration on his burst which allows for more reactions and absorption and thus dmg bonus based on absorption.
This means that Kazuha can buff his team made up of different element easier so if we to compare:
Hu Tao + Yelan + Sucrose < Hu Tao + Yelan + Kazuha
Hu Tao + 20% dmg , 35% Reaction dmg, 48% ATK < Hu tao +40% dmg , Yelan + 40% dmg
Sucrose 'may' buff yelan dmg but it's very unlike to
occur under PHEC

I think it is also important to say on when Iron Sting is better than Favge. The scenarios are quite specific. 1) When kazuha is in a team together with Raiden as his ER requirement there drops to almost 0 ER roll needed. 2) An Ayaka freeze team that has 2nd cryo on Favge already as this makes the ER requirement to be around 130%. Outside of these teams then Favge is better (unless ofc u have freedom sworn)
I mean C2 Kazuha still boosts his EM transfer to the team by like 8% and his own personal swirl damage so its still good in comps that dont utilize EM. That being said of course it wouldnt be nearly as good as if you were running in something like international. Also not sure if you mentioned Freedom Sworn, but the gap gets even bigger if he was using it since you also inclucded TTDS for Sucrose. Yes TTDS is more F2P friendly but lets not act like Freedom isn't obtainable as a F2P.
Freedom sworn + kazuha is pretty much unobtainable for strictly F2P lol (no welkin/BP) unless you either get really lucky or skip a lot of characters and go all in, and I do mean skipping A LOT. Even low spenders (welkin+BP only) will find it hard if they get unlucky.
At the probable cost of one and a half 5* characters. Unless you already have what you want as far as characters go, I wouldn't recommend f2p players wishing on the weapon banner
Kazuha C2 was a social experiment to see how much hundreds of dollars people are willing to spend to give Xiangling 200 EM. Also Freedom Sworn is a Fav Sword sidegrade on energy hungry teams which is basically all of Kazuha's good ones (International, Freeze) except Raiden Hyper
@@mia_2043 FS isn't even that much better than Iron Sting in Raiden Hyper if you ask me, especially at R1. It's a pretty noticeable upgrade (with enough ER) if you're playing Ganyu and Hu Tao tho.
It is standard practice for western TC to NOT include 5 star weapon in their damage comparison calcs unlike chinese TC because the result will be obvious. The team with 5 star character that use their signature weapon WILL obviously be better, which can incentivize people to go for the weapon and that is not something they'd recommend.
Tbh, I think Kazuha is still worth the time (or money) invested on him even when Sucrose can do just about as much as him in terms of utility and damage buff.
As a low spender, I am not against pulling for characters that requires high investment, since it gives me something to look forward to long-term. Resource management is part what makes Genshin endgame fun, imo.
With that said, I prefer Kazuha over Sucrose because of the added playstyle and utility brought by his constellations. He is a character that you can look forward to building and using (and collect constellation) for a long time.
I had him C0 for a year and I recently saved enough to get him to C2. The cool down reset and EM buff brought something new to my team composition and rotation that I'm actually looking forward to clearing abyss again.
However, he is still not a must pull, especially if you don't care at all for his lore, personality, and playstyle. And I agree that no one should be spending any money on this game unless they truly have disposable income.

Good analysis 1010. One major thing missing is the "comfort" aspect for both characters, which is that Kazuha generally has higher uptime on his E and Q especially if Sucrose is running TTDS. In a good run this doesn't matter if you are adept with Sucrose, but in scuffed runs or in new situations Kazuha is a much more flexible and reliable character. Also, Sucrose HP is so low, she dies easily.
I think one of the most important things to repeat regularly is that there is NO CONTENT in the game that requires Kazuha's c2 (or any other constellations) and this is the main reason why players should avoid pulling for constellations.
Pure damage constellations have no real value in this game. But constellations that give convenience or new opportunities are much more interesting. For example, for Kazuha, the first constellation is more interesting than the second (even so, imo it's not interesting enough to spend money on it)
As for Kazuha himself, I personally used Sucrose almost always before getting Kazuha. Now, for me, he is a permanent member of the group when traveling around Teyvat. The convenience he provides are indescribable.
There is no content that requires 5-star characters or 5-star weapons either, but people got to use their primogems for something. Nevertheless I agree that more characters is generally better than more constellations...up to a point.

For the exact same reason that there's no hard content is why I pulled for Kazuha C2.
I don't want new characters that takes literally months to build because of the awful artifacts system drop rates. I prefer to make my enjoyable characters stronger and comfy, Kazuha C1 and C2 makes him way more comfy to play for me, next I'll snipe for Shenhe C2 because I want her extra seconds for her ult.

I run a lot C6 Sucrose + Xiangling + Xingqiu + Bennett and for me I can infuse Sucrose's ult pretty consistent with Pyro so my Xiangling can snapshot it.
I just do the following rotation: Sucrose burst + Bennett E in the burst + Q + Xiangling QE+ Sucrose E + Xingqiu + QE + Sucrose AA.
Much easier you bennet Q then throw your succrose bottle and its automatically infuses the ult same like sunfire jean
Bcs you apply a lot of pyro in international team. Both your enemy and yourself on bennett buff.
It's actually incorrect that Kazuha only buffs the party member who's element he swirls. He actually gives the element damage bonus to all party members, it's just the other party members can't make use of the buff

Using sucrose since when I dont have either venti or kazuha in multiple teams with multiple characters or since patch 1.2. I love her elf ears and nerdy girl aestheic but man.. I hate playing her sometimes, so she is benched for me as i use venti(freeze) and kazuha(rest). For me I think kazuha personal offield dmg in aoe scenario, much superior grouping, and his versatility really makes him just a better unit for me.
Also he is fun to play and also have much smoother gameplay and kit design.
Altough i admit sucrose is very strong unit and "the buffing" difference is not that much.

@@cybergamer__ venti teams are very niche these days tbh .. mostly two team which are Ayaka and ganyu team.. i play Ayaka ganyu freeze and i like him there more than kazuha coz 15 energy refund actually really helpful and i don't need more DMG.. i just need smoother rotation in that team..
Other than that venti is just a tech in option in those type of content where you face wave after wave (like one event we have a month ago) .. you can pair him with raiden, ayato,ganyu ets in mob floors and he work pretty well.
I'd like to clarify something. The video says only the character of the corresponding element gets the bonus from Kazuha's swirls, e.g. pyro dmg bonus to hutao and hydro to xingqiu, but that's not really the case. In-game, and yes I've tested this multiple times before, EVERY CHARACTER receives the elemental dmg bonus. However, only the character with the same element that was swirled can make use of the dmg bonus.
For example, if you swirl hydro first then swirl pyro with Kazuha (assuming that you actually managed to double swirl correctly) then every single character in your entire team receives the additional elemental dmg, meaning your Hutao/Xiangling, Xingqiu/Childe, and Kazuha will have the additional 30% or so elemental dmg bonus for both pyro and hydro. You can test this out for yourselves but I swear that every single character will have that dmg bonus, whether said character can actually utilize that elemental dmg buff is something else though.
I wish this was done during Dendro

I was kazoo skiper, but now, i play to many mono element teams from time to time. Like monohydro with Mona as a driver, monoelectro with onfield like keqing or lisa, and monocryo with all 3 top waifu (ayaka shenhe ganyu).
He is really necessary if you play shiz like that.

Both of them are great and any account would be improved by having both. Though I do prefer Kazuha more just because he's easier to use (for me), which is why I pulled him to C2 to give him the power of a 1000 EM Sucrose.
If I were to add to the video, it would be that both of their C1 are (imo) very good QoL that is not limited to just energy requirements.
For Kazuha, it can smoothen rotations and provides and additional chance to swirl another element if needed and/or in case you messed up your double VV swirl. This is why although fav sword is great for him, I personally rather like sac sword for C0 Kazuha.
As for Sucrose, the additional E charge helps in the positioning of targets so that her Q would land directly on the enemies and so be able to absorb an element more consistently. For particle funneling, the more commonly known method is to EQE but this somewhat wastes the particles from the 2nd E. I prefer EEQ since her E has a very short cast animation. Though I personally do E>dash>EQ as her E is one of the very few abilities in this game that can cancel you out of a dash animation (opposite of using a dash to cancel out of a skill/attack animation) thereby making the 2 E's be cast near simultaneously. However, using her E's successively with her Q (in any combination, but preferably E first to group the targets before tossing Q right on top) is only recommended in multi-target because her E can only swirl (consume element gauge; spread only happens in multi-target) and doesn't feature elemental absorption (therefore can't reapply absorbed element like Kazuha's E).
Just to point out because the video doesnt say this, but a c0 Sucrose is as good and sometimes better then c0 Kazuha. Just let that sink in, when considering how good Sucrose is.

They are pretty much similar, i would say that Kazuha is slightly better overall, but theres 2 reasons that makes Kazuha stronger:
1 - Consistency: Kazuha can do his stuff with more consistency than sucrose, and imo meta is not about max potential, but instead consistency of finishing abyss under the time.
2 - Non Veteran Players: Ok i know this is not a pretty good argument for everyone, but for accounts who misses some characters Kazuha can make some weaker units/teams perform better, one personal example was the fact i had to run mono pyro Diluc during 2.0 because i missed Xingqiu, but kazuha helped me, that can be true for other teams like Freeze Kaeya/Rosaria.
On melt/vap/ec sucrose > kazuha.
On non reactions and freeze sucrose < kazuha.
Boosting dps Sucrose c0 ttds > Kazuha c0,
Boosting dps Sucrose c6 < Kazuha c2 (small gap)

1. What kind of consistency you are talking about? Grouping? I agee. But double swirling for national team? nah.
2. "weaker" team doens't mean less or more investment. National team, or even soup team is as free as you can get. And Sucrose is better at that. Xingqui, Fishl and Xiangling are all absolutely free as long as you do the event without having to roll even once.
@@cynt4416 the problem with national team is that it requires 4 out of the top 5 characters in genshin and you need 2 teams.for the abyss, this is a problem for non whales/new players, as you can read the team examples i gave earlier, and even for veteran players the national team is kinda hard to build because most meta teams (except freeze) needs at least one of those 3 characters.

Sucrose and her teammates can force the infusion by walking on top of her burst while affected by any of the elements, the same way Kazuha can apply Pyro with Bennett Burst. Just sucks that applying the other elements to self is so limited compared to Bennett burst.
Cryo: Diona applies Cryo on shield creation, and every time the player swaps to another character while the shield is still up.
Hydro: Xingqiu, Kokomi and Barbara all apply hydro to self on cast of their Elemental Skills, but only Barbara can apply wet multiple times with the same Elemental Skill over its duration.
Electro: Beidou applies electro to herself when pressing/holding her Elemental Skill.
Pyro: Bennett, Xinyan and Thoma. Xinyan shield can apply pyro on cast and every time the player swaps to other characters (same as Diona). Everyone should already know how Bennett works. Thoma applies pyro to self on shield creation, but this applies to ONLY Thoma, swapping characters won't apply pyro and the Burst shield only gives pyro when Thoma is the active character.

The only issue I have with sucrose is her targeting, there'll be a group of enemies with one enemies slightly to the side of them... She'll turn and target the one instead of the group. Shell also pop her burst to the side of the enemies 😑 maybe I'm doing something wrong, pity because I really like her character but she's so slow and clunky for me
that is actually easy to fix by practicing. a lot of characters in Genshin has auto target issues, proper positioning and practice practice practice and you'll learn how to use them comfortably. If you think she feels slow, don't worry, just dash after clicking her E or Q, it significantly reduces her on-field time if used as a support and speeds up CC for on-field driver Sucrose.

In my opinion i like Kazuha more because i prefer elemental dmg than em bonus and atk and also his playstyle
Sucrose still does a better job buffing my taser comp (Yae Miko, Kokomi, Fischl, Sucrose) than what my Kazuha can do. He is c0 while Sucrose c6 and as for stats both lv90, Sucrose 904 EM, Kazuha 947 EM. I see stronger damage from my characters with Sucrose than I do with Kazua but that is likely due to Yae's EM passive skill kicking in. Also the amount of damage Sucrose can do with her double swirls is insane. In AoE situations when you swirl it applies that swirl element to all nearby enemies. Now if you swirl say hydro and electro together Sucrose then triggers electro charged reaction off her EM and it hits really hard. From my own testing one E on Sucrose was about 42k damage in AoE. 3.5k of it was base damage of her skill and the rest was the swirls and electro charged hits. She can do that kind of damage AND she can buff the party with a strong buff AND shred resists with 4 set VV. She is downright broken strong.
Though one thing is for sure, to me she is far cuter than Kazuha......
I didn’t realize I was an international player until I got Kazuha.
But my favorite team to run is such jank, I love it. Buffs go brrrrr. Rosaria/Kazuha/Diona/Bennett. Who needs a DPS. But to be fair, I’ve hit 212K Bennett Q when he’s only working with 1600 ATK and 90 CDMG on this team.

I'm not sure with "kazuha will always outperform sucrose if you do double swirl" especially in vape/melt team, especially if suc also do double swirl bcos sometimes megabuff (vv shred, EM and atk) your sole carry is more important than buff your other teammate (just xtra dmg bonus vs suc since she can also double swirl). In childe international, em also buff vaped childe Q really hard bcs he doesn't have any em usually. Give me some link your calculation 1010 🤔

Its just literally a point and click. i.e Raiden / or any carry with bennet, apply element throw succrose bottle wait for butterfly flap then boom infused before you bump that bennet ult so that the pyro wont be unfused. At 1:50, you say the bonus is only for party members of that same element, while the others "don't really get it". While it's true there's nothing a Hu Tao can do with +30%-ish Hydro DMG buff, it's not true she doesn't get it. All characters in the party get an elemental buff for each element swirl trigger.
If their damage doesn't benefit from it that's another thing entirely.
Sucrose is best girl, she can ATK, enable, buff and heal. I have an invested Sucrose but rolled on kazuha this time cause I lost on his first banner. Kazuha buff even in Raiden team is only 10k more than my C6 Sucrose but the team have smoother rotation. Kazuha is easier to use than Sucrose but Sucrose value is much higher for my account as I don’t have Childe for international and Gouba swirl is easier than double swirl Ayato/Xiangling than double swirl with kazuha.

If you for example swirl hydro with kazuha and give them the dmg buff and swirl pyro afterwards within the timespan of 8 secs, do both elements get the % dmg boost or only the last one?
Each element is a separate buff. They can overlap, but one does not refresh the other.
Generally you want to line them up together for rotation purposes.

It's common for her to be built with like 600 something when using TTDS, Hakushin, or Prototype. So if you use her skill on something, she'll give 120+. If you swirl pyro, pyro characters will get 50 more EM.

For me is the crowd control that makes Kazuha invaluable in my team comps. There's also how easy is to double vape with him compared to Sucrose and the fact that you always have 100% control over where his E and especially his Q land on the battlefield while Sucrose skills can land all over the place. Also his elemental infusions are WAY more consistent. Kazuha is way better than Sucrose IMFHO.
But kazuha's crowd control isn't even that useful in many comps, cuz by the time you finish setting up your rotation, enemies have already ungrouped from his E, also, double swirl difficulty depends on the team, in some teams it is easier to double swirl with sucrose.
But yes, his infusion consistency is a nice touch. Doesn't make him way better than sucrose tho.
Yeah kazu is definetly easier and more fun for sure but in terms of dmg and also universal application in all sorts spiral abyss iterations sucrose is definetly better.
If cc is what makes kazuha invaluable then you're also saying on floors where enemies are unaffected by anemo cc sucrose raw output is going to be stronger.

In fact I used to be a sucrose lover and my Sucrose is super invested (lvl 90, wep 90, even I leveld her talents to get every little drop of dmg out of her) but after using Kazuha I just never touched her again. But I'm aware of how awesome and powerful she is. If you only care about numbers, both are equally good, but I really prefer Kazuha over Sucrose. The last time I had fun with her was with Sukokomon, that team was insane haha

Sucrose can run a couple other weapons besides just thrilling tales or sacrificial fragments although imo I don’t know who else can run SF so I have her running it

She feels a lot more flexible for builds and roles in the team where most people agree you should be running favonius sword Kazuha for burst spam or sac sword for skill spam (rip xingqiu)

Honestly after getting Kazuha on his rerun, i can see why people say that their gap is not that huge. Like i would much prefer using Sucrose as the driver in a taser comp, and national comp (don't have Childe so it feels kinda awkward slotting in Kazuha) , though I do use Kazuha in a taser team if Raiden is the the onfield carry. Everything else I just use Kazuha (Raiden hyper, Ayaka Freeze, etc.)
Though one thing for sure though, unlike Sucrose, I use Kazuha in almost all of my dailies, he's such a great QoL upgrade to my account.

Is to have Fischl, Beidou XingQiu range elements to apply on them, causing Electro charged
Then Sucrose job is to group them up and swirl all the elements against each other when they closely packed and continuing to swirl more dmg out while having the constell to reduce her E Skill to group faster for more swirl, essentially quadratic scaling like Venti
Kazuha can't fulfil that level of grouping frequency, while it does swirl enemies with his Burst, after his E grouping ends, most enemies will end up dispersing away, resulting swirling only each individual on its own, not able to fulfil that quadratic scaling concept
Kazuha is better off with melt / vape / freeze / mono teams
Generally anything that requires that momentary ease of grouping that will lead to fast damage output or conditional grouping into a setup
