I 100% understand anyone's reasoning for clinging to this album. It's amazing front to back. But 4 Your Eyez Only is a magnum opus. I was a white kid that lived in absolute poverty. Homeless so many times I lost count, changed schools every 3 months, parents writ drug addicts. 4 Your Eyez Only made me realize it's not just me, it's everybody. And their pains are just as deep if not deeper. Thank You Cole, I'm a better man because of you.

Agree with this 100% 4 Your Eyez Only is seriously one of my favorite albums and is (imo) Cole's best album. The story it tells is just incredible.

every song is perfect for the album. its my favorite album of all time and completely goes under the radar. the shes mine songs just feel like love. change is a unique vibe that is perfect piece of work in its self. immortal and neighbors are the perfect hit songs for this album. deja vu is a bit different from the rest of the album but sound wise fits perfect and is a great song ofc. the intro is great in itself. the outro track is obviously an incredible piece of art and one of the best songs ever imo. and ville mentality is a perfect song to preface it and is an emotional great song as well. the only thing that may be considered a bit eh is foldin clothes lmao. but even still i vibe with it. album is basically perfect. tbh though, i think a song like once an addict would have fit so perfect on here as well, and thats one of my favorite cole songs

damn bro damn near made me shed a tear. i come from an opposite background really i’ve had a structured life but even with this i was constantly losing mental battles with myself, feeling inferior and almost feeling death was the only thing significant i’d ever do. Cole made me realize the same thing you did, we’re all going through it. i always wondered how people could wake up every morning not crippled by anxiety by the uncertainty’s the day would bring. cole made me realize we just do it cause we have to there’s no better reason to look for. everyone’s surviving trying to live, but you gotta learn how to live through trying to survive. much love to you man keep moving and never stop, we all gonna be moving with you❤️

Ppl don't realize how many kids Cole raised with his music man♥️❤😭he's still doing it til now (off season) he has never switched or chose to got commercial none of that never!!!pls read this next one carefully: years from now when hiphop/rap is ruined filled with mumble rap, clout d*ck riders, trolling and one hit wonders I'm telling u when everything sounds the same and repetitive ppl are gonna go back to cole's music looking for clues trying to look for messages signs on how hiphop can be reincarnated 1)KOD will start to be appreciated 2)2014 F.H.D we'll teach the true meaning of painting a vivid picture through yr lyrics 3)4YEO will teach ppl introspection 5)will teach ppl what bars are and the importance of flows and cadence
All these albums are going to be studied & looked at as future predictions ppl are gonna wish to hear or see him perform a song from one of those albums...they saying he's preachy boring he doesn't make hits overrated all that b*s I'm telling y'all he's a disciple that guy the way his pen Picassos a picture y'all gonna learn to Appreciate cole world...He's the.O.A.T a prophet A REAL one!!!!

This video spoke to me. Soulr does such a good job at breaking to stuff Down, he really gets what purpose means and can grasp stories that are told. I really feel like a lot of the messages, (Cole’s messages), really relate to what I’ve been going through.
    -I have my demons
-I don’t know where I’m going to be in a few years
-I’ve lost touch of my self worth and my ability to look at others with empathy.
-I may think that I’ve been following my morals, but what does that mean when your morals are wrong? what does it mean when your intentions were wrong in the first place?
-What do you want in life? Do you want to decide take risk on ideal career that may not turn out in the end? Or do you want play it “safe” and invest in an idolized office job that will at least pay the bills from day to day?
-Nobody knows it all, and nobody is all knowing except for God. Who you didn’t put enough time into, and couldn’t ever put enough time into.
-I have an Identity crisis. I spend my days trying to learn more as I dwell on the internet. I want to make my family and parents happy. I aspire to be the ideological student who works his butt off to get where he wants to be. Yet I indulge in bad and unthought habits; At least once a day, I open up RUclips to see my notifications, if any entertaining videos came out.
-Am I really thankful for the gifts I have been given? Am ignorant of my privilege, do I ever acknowledge it to god?
-I don’t know what person I will fully develop into in the future? Am I going to waste the prime of my lifetime to end up being considered a failure as I ponder on my existence? Or can I seize the opportunity to make a difference by the time I grow older?
-Being on the cusp of a “destined” fate feels very scary and drives pessimism. This negativity can only be bottled with development of confidence. It takes more to be able to release the bottle...
-Right now, as pointless as RUclips comments may be, I hope I may pushing forward my development as a person, and spreading thought provoking, but open and inspiring message.
Also I’m making this comment is to let out my thoughts and feelings; to let world know my experience.
All the while, in the back of my mind-tryin to experience a sense of approval. 🛎
This sh*t’s messed up, I really had to question myself to identify that my brain still relies on a sense of approval.
Lastly this video really inspires me to give a listen to Forrest Hills Drive. I’m already hype for the off season and the potential of Kendrick releasing his next album this year. So far I feel 2021 has been a good year for music. And interlude is an awesome preview for the greatness we consumers have the grace of listening to. You can not ask for anything more, no matter if Cole’s album goes up or down.

I agree bro wet dreamz is dope. Many rappers be fronting when rapping about sex often they portray themselves as a player but j. Cole keeps it real stateing how nervous he was when he lost his virginity. Many people can relate to this song and that is j. Cole' best skill is being relatable.

❔❓❔❓ *I'm curious to hear yall stories on the 1st time you heard a Cole song because I remember mine like it was yesterday...*
*It was 09 I believe... I was on RUclips watching some nfl highlights and his song Lights Please was playing in the background... Mind you I never even heard of his name before so I was clueless to who was even rapping but I remember when he said that line "ain't it shameful how niggas blame hoes for givin birth, to a baby that took two to make, coward nigga you a fake how you gon look in your son's face and turn your back then go start another family dog, what type of shit is that?"And that line really stuck out to me like damn, that shit was deep was not expecting that to come from this type of song or from this dude who clearly sounds young as fuck. After that I did research on him and loved his shit ever since!! I still remember the day WHO DAT music video dropped and I watched it on RUclips back in 2011 I believe* 😂😂😂

✏️Hello, says the bible in John 3:16 Because God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, for everyone who believes in him, do not miss out on having eternal life.✝️ = ❤️
🌥️Jesus died on the cross for all human beings because we are all sinners, we have all sinned
God could not have simply forgiven us because he is a judge and a just judge does justice, and what each human being had to pay, Jesus paid for us so as not to go to hell inf
🌥️This is the good news of the gospel of Jesus🌍
    🙌🏼An unmerited favor from God🎁
👉🏼Jesus said repent because the kingdom of God has drawn near
🌼If you do not repent of your sins, God will not forgive you🌴
    Luke 5:32
I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repent.
📃In Romans 10: 9 it says that if you confess with your mouth🗣️ that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart❤️ that God raised him from the dead you will be saved.☁️☁️☁️
🏳️If you want to accept Jesus, make a prayer out loud and ask God for forgiveness for your sins, ask him to write your name in the book of the lamb corand never erase it, and accept Jesus in your heart as your lord and your savior.
💎I do not talk to you about religion, religions are made by humans, Christianity is a relationship with God, Jesus did not bring a religion what Jesus did was reconcile us with him🤝🏼, restore the relationship that was lost due to sin🎈

FIRST THINGS FIRST, love the video bro for real, but as someone who also grew up off Cain road at the same time as Jermaine (a couple streets from the album title address) Fayetteville at this time WASN’T the most dangerous city in NC. Durham and Lumberton were both more dangerous and notorious for shootings, but people want to act like we were to be more tough... Also the name “Fayettenam” is an old saying (know it’s in NC, maybe in Tennessee) that just came about after the war because so many of the soldiers sent were from Ft. Bragg. Just refers to the huge military influence in the city and maybe the Vietnamese/Laotian population that resulted from the war.
