every song is perfect for the album. its my favorite album of all time and completely goes under the radar. the shes mine songs just feel like love. change is a unique vibe that is perfect piece of work in its self. immortal and neighbors are the perfect hit songs for this album. deja vu is a bit different from the rest of the album but sound wise fits perfect and is a great song ofc. the intro is great in itself. the outro track is obviously an incredible piece of art and one of the best songs ever imo. and ville mentality is a perfect song to preface it and is an emotional great song as well. the only thing that may be considered a bit eh is foldin clothes lmao. but even still i vibe with it. album is basically perfect. tbh though, i think a song like once an addict would have fit so perfect on here as well, and thats one of my favorite cole songs

I feel a lot of people listen to music for quality of the flows and clever lyricism like kendrick lamar or smth but lot of people listen to music because of the meaning and philosophy and vibe of the record. This video spoke to me. Soulr does such a good job at breaking to stuff Down, he really gets what purpose means and can grasp stories that are told. I really feel like a lot of the messages, (Cole’s messages), really relate to what I’ve been going through. -I have my demons -I don’t know where I’m going to be in a few years -I’ve lost touch of my self worth and my ability to look at others with empathy. -I may think that I’ve been following my morals, but what does that mean when your morals are wrong? what does it mean when your intentions were wrong in the first place? -What do you want in life? Do you want to decide take risk on ideal career that may not turn out in the end? Or do you want play it “safe” and invest in an idolized office job that will at least pay the bills from day to day? -Nobody knows it all, and nobody is all knowing except for God. Who you didn’t put enough time into, and couldn’t ever put enough time into. -I have an Identity crisis. I spend my days trying to learn more as I dwell on the internet. 4 your eyez only is still my favorite, I love seeing how different albums speak to different people
I cry every single time I hear 'Love Yourz' I have no idea what it is that gets triggered inside of me but, that will forever be one of my favorite songs.
When I saw the title I was expecting (hoping) the album in reference was “4 your eyez only”. 2014 was a gem nonetheless though so fair play. Superb video bro.
This video, is a fine exemplification of art. It's perfect. I loved j Cole's music, but after watching this, you made me realize I should love his music even more.

This is one of my favorite albums of all time, excited to watch this!!!!
I feel a lot of people listen to music for quality of the flows and clever lyricism like kendrick lamar or smth but lot of people listen to music because of the meaning and philosophy and vibe of the record. I think that’s why many people consider cole overrated. I mean if you look at his flows and production, kendrick is better a lot of the time, but he lacks the same vibe and meaning of cole.
Watching this an hour before the album drops just to set the vibe for the night..

This video spoke to me. Soulr does such a good job at breaking to stuff Down, he really gets what purpose means and can grasp stories that are told. I really feel like a lot of the messages, (Cole’s messages), really relate to what I’ve been going through.

Lastly this video really inspires me to give a listen to Forrest Hills Drive. I’m already hype for the off season and the potential of Kendrick releasing his next album this year. So far I feel 2021 has been a good year for music. And interlude is an awesome preview for the greatness we consumers have the grace of listening to. You can not ask for anything more, no matter if Cole’s album goes up or down.

FIRST THINGS FIRST, love the video bro for real, but as someone who also grew up off Cain road at the same time as Jermaine (a couple streets from the album title address) Fayetteville at this time WASN’T the most dangerous city in NC. Durham and Lumberton were both more dangerous and notorious for shootings, but people want to act like we were to be more tough... Also the name “Fayettenam” is an old saying (know it’s in NC, maybe in Tennessee) that just came about after the war because so many of the soldiers sent were from Ft. Bragg. Just refers to the huge military influence in the city and maybe the Vietnamese/Laotian population that resulted from the war.
