Do you have a link to other videos where you removed or installed the motor? What was the compression when done and how fast will the ski go now? THANKS

I didn’t make a video of pulling or installing the motor because it was just me working on it and I didn’t have a stand for the camera. Before I started compression was 90-90-100. When done it was at 125-125-125. The cluster didn’t what so I’m not sure what was the top sleep but If I had to guess it did around 45-50mph with just me on it.

Where did you get your upper end rebuild kit? Our compressions are 100-75-100 ... how do we match the rebuild kit to STD (standard) or oversized? Thank youu

I got my rebuild kit off eBay. To get it to STD specs you’ll probably have to re-sleeve the cylinders and get STB pistons and rings. Kawasaki discontinued the jugs on these so that would be the only way to do STD. A good company to use for this is LA Sleeves out of cali. You mail it to them with what you want done and they will mail you back an oem spec jug. Or you can take your jug to a good machine shop and have them bore an hone to the next size up. Then just get the kit to match the new bore size. Definitely buy the kit before the bore so you can bring them one of the new over sized piston and they can make sure everything is perfect.

I’m can’t remember off the top of my head. I’m sure if you look it up on google you can fine a manual. On Facebook there is a stx 1100 group. They have the manual for you to use for free if you become a member.
