I had the pleasure of meeting Kerry Washington when she was on Broadway doing the play called Race. I waited outside after it was over, and she was the last one to come out. She had her dog with her. She was very down-to-earth, and I even got a picture with her!

People on here are talking about the skirt (it is stunning, there is no doubt about that), but I’m in love with little Josie and how relaxed and calm she is around Kerry. Also, side note if a dog is relaxed and chilled when the camera person comes in, then it’s a sign that they are a great person to be around

How lucky are her children to grow up thinking that having windows as walls in a home is normal. To grow up, waking up every morning with a view like that is a dream. They are so blessed. I can only imagine how is looks at night, rainy/snowy days. Spectacular!! If only one day I can make dreams a reality, they would look like this. 💫
Ive never lived in NY but it would bother me living in a glass bowl. I love my privacy. My home has 27 large windows and it was so expensive to cover them.

She always struck me as a very private person so I was surprise to see her on AD open door but this is just a rental she's using in NY while she's on Broadway so it make sens. Anyway her, the apartment and that skirt are to die for! And the little dog too.

I don't know, she is calling in an apartment, not a condo. An apartment implies renting and a condo implies owning. She obviously had it all professionally decorated. I'm sure incredibly expensive regardless of owning or renting.
In New York they purchase apartments as well. I don't think they refer to multiple dwelling spaces as condos or townhouses in the city. She probably owns it for her family visits to NY because she's bicoastal in her career as well.

First AD video where I actually like the space. Her home looks art deco-ish without being pretentious. The other homes I've seen were small and jam packed with crap. This space feels/looks so inviting and cozy.

Let's be honest - she clearly was paid to say that (or rather the apartment was furnished for free, to say that) - and AD is probably in bed with the deal as well. Not a bad thing at all, but this isn't humility at work. It's a great video and apartment - this is a 2019 edition of celebrity and co-branding working very harmoniously.
