- Another one of the videos I shot of a loose herding dog harassing a large herd of elk. This time the elk were hot on it's tail and almost caught it... They were NOT happy! Don't mess with their babies.
The owner of this dog is guilty if wildlife harassment. It's actually a crime

Good luck catching a blue heeler. They're bred to herd and dodge.
It was slow and they could have if they wanted to. The elk were thinking "man, this wolf is unathletic".
Yet they caught up to the dog effortlessly. Elk are built to tangle with wolves.
Those elk outrun wolves in 4ft of snow. They could have caught that dog no problem. They just wanted it gone!

Not sure! Someone mentioned that it was an Australiean Cattle Dog, AKA Blue Heeler?
Dog was super-smart. He/She outmaneuvered the both elks right at the time. Otherwise he would be trampled.
