- We are visiting the only Bass Pro in Alaska! It is located in Anchorage. It is interesting seeing the different boats and animals they have compared to the lower 48. We even saw a possible Sheriff candidate for Otter Creek wandering around.

Those stores are amazing
That was a wolverine not a badger but I think the same family. I’m from Michigan. The white critter was an Artic fox. I know a lot of the animals from watching a lot of National Geographic channels and Hunting channels.
My favorite Bass Pro is in Memphis, TN. The pyramid. My wife and I stayed there 1 night on an anniversary.
That store is just incredible thank you for showing us I wish I could visit but that’s not possible so please keep talking us on your journey and long may it continue 👏👏🇬🇧❤️🇺🇸

The bass pro in Memphis Tennessee is not made of the log look but is shaped like a pyramid,has a glass elevator goes to a top floor restaurant/bar and a walk out with a glass floor you can see straight through but it is neat to see the bridge and river lite up at night and sunset from there is beautiful 😊 inside is lodge looking,has hotel rooms for rent in it also.

That's a pretty big store! It looks smaller on the outside. We have an awesome Cabela's in Chelsea, MI that people go to just to site see at (including me). Thanks for another awesome tour.
My bass pro is laid out differently but it's still got all the same products in it, it's in east Peoria Illinois
If you like go fishing, you should try the Russian River. We lived in Anchorage 40 years ago. There was a manual ferry to cross the river. Sometimes it would get so crowded, people would be elbow to elbow. We spent more time un-snagging fish then actually catching them. Lol Enjoy your trip.
Don't forget the bear spray l oved the old truck and seeing Bass Pro Shop watch all your videos.
I love our bass pro shop in Tacoma Washington… fun to look at all the stuffed wildlife… have great SNACKS TO EAT ALSO.

Awesome pickup! I love Bass Pro. So many cool displays. I hadn’t heard that story before. The one Mesa, AZ was 2 stories. Hope to visit the one in Memphis someday! Some of those boats are almost as expensive as a Class A motorhome.
We don’t have a Bass shop, but we do have a Cabela’s. Same idea
Bass Pro loves their stuff.

FYI Here in Minnesota we have closer 12,00O lakes than 10,000 Lakes. You all should come visit, fishing is excellent, and fresh Walleye can't be best.

Did you go anywhere near Katmai National Patk, ie Brooks Falls? Bears are out catching salmon there now. That would be awfully cool to see.

Pontoon's are made in the town I live in 30 Miles North from Springfield Mo then theyhave one appox in between Springfield and Branson a town called Ozark Mo and another from Bolivar to Clinton Mo and One down by Fort Leonard Wood Missouri where Military Base is and each plant makes the different boats!

on your many trips around the usa--you need to come through springfield Mo! the original Bass Pro is here and it is somethin else! it also has a "wonders of wildlife'museum and a huge fish wildlife one with it. and oh my gosh. it is worth it to make a side trip---then you could drive to Branson and see Big Cedar Lodge, which was built by him and has amazing scenery and a outof this world resturaunt. just a bee in your bonnet! like yall are having so much fun!!!
I truly hope that you travel east to Maritime Canada. I would dearly love to show you some of the sites in the Halifax, NS area.
I live near Denver, Colorado. Years ago, my neighbors son in law was a test pilot in Juneau, I think. He was in the Air Force. Gisela would travel and stay 4 or 5 months a year. She had a good time with the grandkids.

My Nephew was a polar bear patrol....you dont mess with animals in the oil fields.

There's a cabelas on the south side of anchorage which is connected to the bass pro shops.
The cabelas has a daily feeling schedule in their store and the tunnel to see the fish where you can see them swim all around you. Its great.

There is a large bass pro shot in Tennessee that pretty big too! Love the tour of the Alaska Bass Pro Shop! Also they have some nice electric bikes on amazon that start at 500.00 that are more reasonable.
Those electric bikes have been starting fires, be careful

E-bikes are cool. My boy has over 25 of them. But he rents them in marathon Fla by the 7 mile bridge. He also sells them. He is a hey bike dealer

If you like old vehicles and historical events/activities you need to check out the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village. I found the village more interesting because they have activities you can participate in and/or attend. If you go during the school year make sure to go on the weekends because schools go during school hours. I hope you can go! You can go along the Great Lakes, go to Putin bay, frankenmuth(Christmas village) and many others. God bless your life’s journey
