In terms of the base/active model I can't think of any other good looking, safest, best engine, decent fuel economy and featuristic car. With around 12 to 12.5L 😎👍(on-road pricing) I personally think Skoda Kushaq has nailed it. It offers all important features which its competitors or rivals don't. It also gives you electronic adj door mirrors, Pretty good quality 6 speakers and rear AC 😲 . I can't consider Kia Seltos or Creta because they almost cost the same but aren't safe enough as Skoda Kushaq. I also considered Kia Sonet HTX 1.0 L Turbo AT and 1.5 Diesel MT which offers plenty of features. I was almost convinced but the leg room is something I couldn't get over with. There were tons of features which I'd hardly use (except wireless Android & Apple carplay). But the overall quality was a downer. Ride quality is not as good as Kushaq's. I'm fine with wired Android auto and Apple carplay 😎👍. After driving a Skoda Kushaq I had no second thought to book one. Also you can completely make a base variant of Kushaq to look like a top end, isn't that insanely good of Skoda? I'm so skeptical when it comes to buying a car so I pay attention to detail and quality. Hope my opinion helps someone who's in a dilemma with KIA Sonet, Seltos, Creta and what not. Skoda Kushaq won't let you down. 😉👍

Had a test drive for Nexon and Kushaq. Rear space comfort, Nexon wins. Handling along with Drive modes, i felt Nexon above kushaq. Kushaq shines in third gear. Nexon has tax advantage being sub 4 metre and 1.2 Litre max in petrol. Eco mode can help save fuel while Cruising, and 1 litre Khushaq is not that efficient, whereas 1.5 Liter is better on saving fuel but huge price difference in comparison. Rear looks Nexon nay, Kushaq Yay. Now I know why Nexon is top selling Compact SUV.

On the other hand, Hyundai Creta is clearly an impressive compact SUV. It is spacious, comfortable, loaded with features, easy to drive and offered with powerful petrol and diesel engine options. It is hard to fault the Hyundai Creta and it comes across as a well-rounded product. If you loved the old Creta the new one promises to be even more desirable for a moderate increase in Price. It's 50k costlier for base variant which has more features than its competitors and the top variant is cheaper than creta top variant. I'm 100 percent sure that built quality of euro mfg will be better than koreans. Also, the service cost is not costly at all. Skoda has maintenance package where you pay just 25000 for 4 years worth of services. Max to max aapko 2k ka difference aega service mein. Agar premium brand ki car ke liye you can't spend 2k extra every year then probably don't get something that costs upwards of 13-14 lakhs I mean seriously, you guys expect euro cars to be priced like koreans and also give you the premium euro build at the same time. At the end of the day if you don't care much about build quality and safety and like buttons and gizmos which will lose their charm in a few months you can go with koreans. Those who want a safer car with great driving dynamics (which is what the vehicles are primarily meant to do) and something that will age well they will go with euro mfg.

Both of them have more features (which is one parameter of how premium a car is) and the quality of material used is leagues ahead. Harrier/'safari are great cars for their price but if we compare it to the competition, it's not up there. Tata's aftersales service is also as bad if not worse than euro mfg. That is the reason these cars are priced higher and don't forget that these are CBU units that come directly from europe. So if you have extra cash and want something premium, go for Euro and you won't regret, if you want to save some cash, go for tata which will keep you very happy. The way tata is progressing, i hope that it will catch up to euro mfgs but there is time. In the hatchback segment I would consider tata to be the better though since polo is old now.

As a Czech, I noticed a new model of the Škoda cars, Kushaq, a car for India and made in India, it's great; I guess, it's a Kamiq´s sibling (by the way, KAMIQ got 5 stars in the EURO NCAP safety test in 2019) but the Kushaq is probably nicer. Kushaq is not a big car but when I saw the 3 extras in the back seats sticking together, it seemed strange to me, especially compared to others, when Kushaq is only 3 cm narrower! But do Creta and Seltos have so much more space for 3 people in the back seats??? I haven't seen a comparison anywhere yet. I don't know, like you, the price of the Kushaq in India, but also in Europe, Škoda cars are already more expensive but still really good.
Because of aggressive pricing korean duo kills all competition ! Waiting for creta and seltos are more than 5 months so if kushaq really launch at pricing of seltos or creta , they will reap benefits and also hope they provide cng too , because petrol prices and mileage consideration because here even if expensive people buy diesel cars over petrol

Comparing with these features it's better to compete with Sub 4 meter compact SUV instead of Creta, Seltos etc... In my opinion features are not upto the mark with Premium SUV for sure. However whichever price you are going to launch you will do the sales Below 1000 per month....not more than that for longer run too

Chk out the Test Drive , Driving Dynamics of 1.5Ltr DSG Kushaq. And Bro Seltos is merely a 3 Star SUV. Skoda build quality is far better than Sheltos.
Take test drive first, if needed wait for Taigun, but don't even look for Seltos at any cost.
Don't go by mere rugged look of Seltos.. looks strong, but so weak..
Skoda is definitely good looking but expensive with less features
