- Skoda Kushaq review in Hindi - Here's all you need to know about Skoda India's all-new compact SUV based on the Vision IN concept that was showcased at the previous edition of auto expo. The Kushaq will be available in two petrol engines - 1.0-litre and1.5-litre both mated to manual and automatic transmissions. The one I drove is the 1.0-litre with a 6-speed MT.

Reviewing after driving 250 kms
- Kushaq is nice to drive and will feel modern and robust.
- Overall driving dynamics, ride, steering controls and sharp turn handling is class-leading. Feels too safe and pleasure to drive.
- All important security features that we use and are mandatory for safe driving dynamics at 18 lac on-road makes it the best choice.
- Unique 2-spoke steering wheel (from Superb, Octavia)
- Kushaq though has 385ltr capacity can easily fit the same baggage as Creta/Seltos (claim 400+ ltrs.)
- Carbon Steel paint finish looks very nice, upmarket and premium. - 6-speaker audio system is surprisingly crisp and great sound with subwoofer.
Negatives:
- The steering feels a bit too light even at high speeds and could've weighed up better for more responsive feel though controlling it is precise.
- Rear disk break and Digital instrument cluster.
- No 6 air bags other than 1.0 MT - this is illogical.
- Yes, priced 50k to 70k on the higher side - but performance, safety features (even in base models) and the driving experience of both 1.0 and 1.5-litre TSI variants somewhat justifies the price.
I highly recommend Skoda Kushaq for those looking for premium small and powerful compact SUV for its clean design, driving dynamics, safety features and the Skoda brand and who cant afford T-Roc :)
Why no one is talking about ESC, ABS, EBD, MCB, HHC, EDS, XDS, XDS+, ASR, MSR, BSW, ROP safety features available in Kushaq base model. How many are available in Creta/ Seltos ?

When car are being sold, jo dikhta hai wo bikta hai. It's pricing is more aggressive than expected in competition to creta and seltos. 1 liter turbo 17 lakh
What to say, typical Indian Mentality... They will go for a TV upfront than safety features....

The engine may be 1 Litre but it is powerful. There is almost no turbo lag. Drove it in the mountainous state of Arunachal Pradesh recently and the car handled the rough roads well. The 1 Litre turbocharged 6 speed automatic is a dream to drive on plain highways. The surge of power when you press the accelerator makes overtaking easy. The car felt stable at speeds approaching 140 kmph. The only drawback is that even for a car priced at 18 lakhs on road, electrically folding ORVMs were missing, which is highly surprising.
It’s a delight to see our baby , we worked very smart hard work and plenty of engineering to create this baby

Not good enough ground clearance not good and overall interior quality is not good will flop
@@shikhasaha8421 too early to comment about interior it upgrades and varies as per customer tastes and variants , ground clearance is quite enough in laden condition as per ARAI . One thing we are sure that you and your family will feel more safe and enjoy the long rides and intercity rides

Maybe Skoda should improve Insulation, Reduce clutch heaviness & long Travel and Gearbox shifting.
Maybe as if we drive regularly we might get use to the clutch pressing & Gear shifting after some time.
But that's not expected from Skoda as Co & brand in India. When Creata & Seltos offers a silken smooth soft clutch & gear shifting.
