HOW TO FIX NO SOUND AFTER FITTING ANDROID 11 HEADUNIT! Mercedes Benz W204 Part 2

Part 2 - Short video explaining how I managed to refit the oem stereo with new harness. VERY TIGHT but persist and it will slide in!
Watch Part 1 where I show a quick overview of how I fixed the no sound issue after installing the new Android head unit.
Usually the “audio In” Jack is connected via a 3.5mm aux cable which is then ran down into your glove box or centre console where it’s plugged in. (For me this was into my AMI/MMI slot using the adaptor supplied with the kit)
In the end I gave up on this method and instead a much simpler method I found was to just plug the 3.5mm aux cable coming from “audio in” into the other “audio out” Jack rather than into the centre console AUX. This can be found with the bundled cables going into the display unit itself with a bunch of other cables labelled DVR, AV in, AV out etc…
Once this was done I then modified the settings under the Mercedes engineering menu (hold red Hangup button+1+#)
** Do this at your own risk, my video is for information only demonstrating how I achieved this**
Once updated and reset, you can then navigate and finalise additional Android settings.
Took me a few attempts as was not simply plug and play, ordered 2 AMI cables only to send them back, but fortunately turns out they are not needed IF You have the additional “3.5mm Audio Out” Jack.
** I’ve added a photo at the end of the video to show you how I wired it up**

Thanks! I tugged the black power plug into lower right hand side. Placed it in vertical position, flushed it in. (2013 Benz C300)
