Thanks for taking time out with me and my channel, I have a few videos uploaded now and I am aiming for a new video every week, hope you find them as enjoyable as this one!
Great to have a fellow old camera user along for the ride! There's something fun about creating with supposedly limiting gear that teaches you it's not that limited after all! Thanks for subscribing!
Hi james. Congratulations on the milestone. The image of the train was very cool. I liked how you managed to capture the train through the trellis work of the bridge. Quick thinking. Regards David
Thank you, it is still really amazing me that anyone would be willing to spend their time with me and my thoughts on photography, I am so so grateful for all the encouraging comments. The train was very much right time right place, but I am glad I was out with taking pictures in mind! I have seen it a couple of times without my camera with me and always felt I'd missed out!
James I have old Pentax cameras I photograph with my film camera is a Pentax Spotamatic SP2,. My Pentax DSLR cameras are a *istDL, K100D and a K3-11. I had Apature block failure on my K50 & K70 so I purchased my first used camera my Pentax K3-11 when the Pentax K3 Mark iii came out i waited a couple of years and bought a used one for the fast autofocus as i had begun photographing wildlife and I needed the faster autofocus. I replaced the Apature block on my Pentax K50 & K70 and have since loaned the cameras to my son good luck on me ever getting them back from my son but I am quite happy with the Pentax K3 cameras
@@scrptwic haha yeah good luck with the cameras you "loaned", although I am glad to hear your son is enjoying them so much! I loved the K30 so much I bought a used one with the aperture issue you described, fixed it and installed the K50 software on it to use the 55-300mm PLM lens on. Of all the brands I have tried this year I think the Pentax cameras have been the most well rounded and full featured cameras. They have a little bit of everything, don't they? I have not used a K3 but I can only assume they carry on those same attributes and then some! Wildlife is an area of photography I would dearly love to explore more (apart from the occasional agreeable squirrel) so it's great that these cameras are helping you enjoy your passion, I love to read stuff like this!
Amazing James on passing 100 subs, of which I'm one of. You are going forward and we are with you for the long term. Cheers fella Regards Rob, Yorkshire.
Congratulations James. Each of these milestones is worth celebrating. The way I think of it is that if even 10 people came to hear what I had to say on a weekly basis I’d be incredibly grateful. Here’s to many more milestones, mate🍻🥳
@@DavidFlowerOfficial Couldn't agree more, I'm always so happy anyone wants to spend time with me bumbling around the woods! Thanks so much supportive posts and reposts, David - it means a lot!
