I think I've only completed this DLC once. Partly because I don't find it as interesting as the others, but also because... damn, parts of it can be tough! Congrats on acing it!
Hey Liera great vid as always,
If nobody's mentioned it, House Dace can actually be encountered by ur Warden in the dwarf noble origin story.
Don't know if any of ur other commenters mentioned it or if u recognized it but in the area just outside Amgarrak that chest u opened was the chest needed for that dwarf in the Shaperate that wanted u to find evidence of her family's noble beginning so that they might be brought back up to the noble caste.
That area is also where u fight the pride demon that offers u money for their freedom after finding all the body parts within the Deep Roads.
I believe, though I could be misremembering, that that caved in section u noticed before entering Amgarrak is where Ruck decided to make camp, the dwarf who's mother asked u to find him upon entering the Deep Roads.
I so cheesed that room with all the golems where u get The Reapers Cudgel. I focused on one golem, killed it hit the switch to make them all disappear, used my golems Cleasening Aura ability to passively regain health then repeated the process. Took a while but works rather well as once defeated the enemy golems don't respawn even if hitting the switch.
Cudoos to u though for tanking those things and dominanting them in the process.
Nicely done with the final boss fight, u noticed that switch close to u and commented on wondering what it does. Well during the boss fight u can use that switch to kill, or at least temporarily dispose of the walking corpses that joined the fight.
Not sure if I'm remembering this right, as I very well may not be, but during the fight, and Jerrick even mentions it, the Harvester is immune to certain types of attacks. Hitting the switch I think, and again I may be completely wrong on this as it's been awhile, helps to end those phases quickly.
Hey! I actually met Lady Dace during the Harrowmont/Bhelen debacle, so the name was familiar even without the origin story :)
> I so cheesed that room with all the golems where u get The Reapers Cudgel.
Nice! I didn't think to do that, that would have been great haha.
Happy completion day! Amgarrak was crazy hard and you blew through it. Awesome job. Finishing up my run through DA2 after drawing the extensive companion roster. Hope ya get caught up, and enjoy your rest.
this dlc in 1 go? brave.
that harvester fight is considered one of the hardest fights in the game 💀 good job.
that room with the golems can also be very nasty....
people complained awakening was too easy so the devs made this 💀
That room with golems oh my god! I got unintentionally lucky with them being stuck on environment and not getting to me all at once.
Happy Halloween! Spooky, spooky ..... Super DLC, super gespielt und super fun und super dupa und sehr hübscher Anhänger und danke und feier schön mit deinen Liebsten und sei glücklich und PARTY !!!!! LG
I have to wonder why the Warden wasn't allowed to tell the truth about Caridin and the golems. After all, the Warden does know what's going on.
A real here's johnny jumpscare at the end, eh? The harvesters are a unique enemy, but with me keeping branka alive, having the army of steel and stone works just as good.
Hope you play the darkspawn dlc too.
This DLC is definitely one of the hardest in the game, so the difficulties you encountered are natural. It's especially terrifyingly difficult if you play through this on hard difficulty or higher. I personally only managed the feat once, managing it with my own Arcane Warrior and using some tips from online.
A few things on your experience:
- of course Mind Blast wouldn't work on Golems. It only works on living enemies like humans and dark spawn
-if you had checked the dead end near the end, there was one last upgrade for the golem to acquire
> of course Mind Blast wouldn't work on Golems
In hindsight, mind blasting golems is pretty unrealistic haha
Alcest ! Einfach magisch. Nimm dir die Zeit und lasse die band in dein Leben. LG
Massive Attack - Teardrop und unfinished symphaty und ... LG
Begotten, Eraserhead Häxan und ....
I hated this dlc. Next to no lore or plot, just hard af for very little payoff imo. You're much better at origins combat than I am though 😂
