Pizza crash lands into random guy’s home in the middle of playing Fortnite. Guy looks up at the gaping hole in the ceiling, “ thank you, God.... 😪.” Eats the space pizza and dies of radiation sickness 😊
As a kid and teen I would have LOVED this subtheme. So many possibilities - although I agree that there would be even greater potential if there would be at least one more "two way" module included!
I feel like one more docking port on one of the small modules (preferably on the sleeping module so the light brick can be preserved on the research module) would have fixed most of the problems you described, though it would probably be at the cost of the treadmill. Also, in a future video, could you also show the kitchen module interconnected with one of the rockets from this wave? It would be interesting, though a bit unrealistic, to see the rockets carry a part of the station into space.
StarWarzFan7777 I really feel the sleeping module and kitchen module should have been open ended with those grey connectors, then had removable hatch/cap pieces which connected to them. It would have made for much much more variety of connection.
With your last bit "It would be interesting, though a bit unrealistic, to see the rockets carry a part of the station into space." HOW do you think they got the part of the space station up there in the first place?
Thanks for the review Jang (and taking the hit to buy a second set!). It's disappointing that it's not as modular as it could be out of the box. Even if they just included the grey airlock parts for each end and just walled them off...
I think this is a great starter kit for the space sub-theme. Especially once you get directions, you can modify and make your own 'modules.' However, I can also see this theme changed to an underwater theme, maybe a Subnautica set!?
Thank you for this review. I was on the fence about this set, and this information really solidified my decision to put my Lego budget elsewhere. It's a shame the modules can't all interconnect.
Jang I know how proud you are for your family content, I had an ad for a horror style movie, midsommer, run on this video, just to make you aware as I know it’s dear to you
Joseph Flanagan I also want to see jang do more overall displays of a collection of sets like this city space theme from this year. I know he has done stuff previously like with Jurassic world but it would be cool to see home do everything as their own full complete collection.
I love what city is doing by now expanding the city world by going well out of the world but also with not just remaking police and firefighters. I loved the space sets back in 2012.
I will support this rebellion with all my will !!! no really I miss them too much ... they had special browser game as well with their own alphabet .... oh man here it comes again ..... those MEMORIES .. :((
The pizza-"thrower" would be a problem up there, imagine a still frozen pizza and someone wrongfully pushing the eject button : "Um, Mission Control we have a problem... Abandoning space station now." "What happened?" "Some idiot wanted to make pizza."
$35 would be a fair selling price. only price with lower than $40, players can feel easier to obtain 2 or more set sets of this space theme for a realistic creation. For now, $60 can only be acceptable if the space ports are 10 sducts wide(bigger room and internal playing features.
Unfortunately that doesn't fit the average price of 11 cents per piece. Just based on the piece count alone it would be $50. I'm guessing the extra $10 is for the new pieces designed for the set.
From documentaries seeing how LARGE spacelab was on the inside compared to what we have with the international space station now is pretty crazy. The Saturn V sure was massive.
Man I wish they had these sets when I was younger and would play with legos. Now I just collect the Expert sets that suit my interests to display them.
Oh i love the Cozmo face on the robot :D And RIP Anki. They did leave a lasting mark on the robot industry though. About what people think a pettable robot should be.
I wasn't all that fussed about the new Space theme, but I do like this set and if I can do a custom Ellen Ripley then this will be in my display as an 'Alien' homage. Great review as always! :-)
I have one set already, enjoyed the build. But I see plenty of MOC potential with these, and would love to add more. I think I will need to invest in a few extra of those "BRICK 1X6X4 1/3, W/ 4.85 HOLE, NO. 1" (49699) to make it a reality though. Thanks for the review.
My local Toyrus just has a big sales on this and I am surprised since I never see them give such big discount on new legos. This Lunar space station cost 44.02 dollars only after the discount.I was lucky I did not buy it first and waited....unfortunately I bought the tiny space jet one before discount.
If you get a few of this set, you can always disassemble the grey module to get three more connectors. It's unfortunate that they're using those large curved pieces. If smaller pieces were used, you could widen the modules for easier access. Very disappointed that the new plastic scratches easier. Another example of Lego's part quality decline. I also noticed that the spare robot eye tile was printed way off to the side.
The only thing that really irks me about sets like this is.....pizza shooter? Really? Come on LEGO. Not every set has to have an "action" feature. Sets based on real life space exploration can be focused on discovery and interesting features like the geode...
I'd love to see your own custom version of this also I'm surprised you didn't take apart the center module and used its pieces to create the combining aspect that you were looking for
Yeah, I bought one just yesterday, but probably won't buy another unless it's on sale. $60.00 USD is definitely too much for a set like this even just based on a price-to-part ratio. I still like that they made it though. As a kid, I couldn't get the fairly large LEGO space sets; It's nice to at least partially satisfy my inner child now. Great review as always.
According to the pricing Lego seems to think there is a higher space affinity in NA. Overall the price/part is way too high for a non-license product in all regions (and extremely so in NA)
It seems to me that the station maybe should have been a higher price point set. Maybe axe the rail system and some smaller details from the launch command set and sell it for less while adding enough to this to make it $100.
You would have thought Lego would have built the walls so that they could easily be detached and attached to the end of any pod/ corridor, allowing former customisation options for the layout.
I feel the conclusion is a bit biased, based on Jangs desire to swap the modules. Looking at it seems like good value overall. I dont see that as a big issue or a problem. The modules themselves are a tad small.
Hey Jang In ur lego city, can u incorporate some sort of space/mars stuff? Thanks for the reviews! They're amazing. Can't wait for next lego mars review!
Hi Jang! Would you recommend this Lunar Space Station set over the 'Creator Space Shuttle Explorer 3in1' set 31066 (which also can be made into a Space station)? Appreciate your thoughts. Thanks so much!
Outside of the price, I think it's a decent set if you don't want to be able to expand/customise it further. Definitely a missed opportunity to make it way more modular and appealing though, such a shame.

Would love to see you customise it!

I love these new space sets, they are original designs but still realistic and believable.

Omg, why is there Dr. OGEL on the video call? :'D
Is this before he became an Alpha Team villain? So many questions!
Luna Sardelić I was literally about to put the same thing!
I saw that too and got worried.
And is that robot an early version of Tee Vee.
Uhhhhhh. I only know a little about alpha team and it looks cool. City may be evil?

Is the tiny little $10 set compatible with the bigger sets like this or the SLS at 7:20?
Great review! Just purchased today myself from Legoland Windsor. Very excited to build!
Great review, I'll be buying this one 😊
This set was way bigger than I was expecting
I can see a Space 1999 Eagle Transport forming in my mind.

The robot face would be perfect for cosmo
I just bought it and make some custom Robots with this set ✨❤👍😍👍❤✨ , Really Cool Set
I’m buying my younger cousin 2 of these for Christmas to put them together (I own three)
Could you make a video on how the easiest way to convert the ends for compatibility?
It would be great for expanding the station, as you said it doesn’t have nearly enough connection points
You should review the creator townhouse cafe and pet shop
With the small ones, it looks like you can just take out the interior wall to the outside and use the pin holes above and below to connect multiple.
It clearly needs an ISS-style4-way connecter module, for more flexible expension.

you forget , the main demographic are kids. nothing wrong with a bit of light heartedness
It works as a decent oven but yeah the giant knob is annoying
Tricky, Lego, Tricky!!! Giving us reasons to buy more than one set!
The pizza machine is a 3d printer
No
More like a pizza launcher
It's the hydrator from back to the Future
3d printers can't print food.
The red and blue lights used in the "kitchen" are actually accurate in terms of urban gardening: plants can't utilize green light
Are the solar panels, prints?
Tom Kazutara I doubt it, LEGO is so cheap these days with just using stickers.
Go check out the build videos. These are stickers.
Of course not... :S
I'm pretty sure they're stickers.

I’m working on an animation for the Film Life from 2017! This is perfect, I’m getting a second to use to make it bigger!

Oh, Jang, the Anthony Fantano of LEGO
Use modul from launch control to connect other modules!
It seems to me that the station maybe should have been a higher price point set. Maybe axe the rail system and some smaller details from the launch command set and sell it for less while adding enough to this to make it $100.
Hi love your channel
The microscope build with the flat 1x1 circle might be a reference to the 2017 Sci-fi horror movie: Life
You would have thought Lego would have built the walls so that they could easily be detached and attached to the end of any pod/ corridor, allowing former customisation options for the layout.
Any idea if the $10 spaceship is compatible with the new system?
I wish they would make a lego creator ISS (International Space Station)
I feel the conclusion is a bit biased, based on Jangs desire to swap the modules. Looking at it seems like good value overall. I dont see that as a big issue or a problem. The modules themselves are a tad small.
I feel the issues would easily be resolved if the central piece had 4 access points and the the solar pannels clipped into a modular wall piece.
The robot has more trust than the Spaceship!
And $60! Maybe I'll find it 50% off, but I highly doubt it😢.
Hey Jang

he doesnt take suggestions for his city, but he has/makes a planetary defense force, so there is some space related stuff.

Hi Jang! Would you recommend this Lunar Space Station set over the 'Creator Space Shuttle Explorer 3in1' set 31066 (which also can be made into a Space station)? Appreciate your thoughts. Thanks so much!
This is £20 more (in the UK) but the Mars research shuttle is the same price as the Creator 3in1 Space Shuttle Explorer (both at £25)
This set is interesting
Outside of the price, I think it's a decent set if you don't want to be able to expand/customise it further. Definitely a missed opportunity to make it way more modular and appealing though, such a shame.
You should be able to have them all open then have end caps you could add
Can you somehow try to put shutlle on station? That would be Cool
You can move the door to a small module and it makes a living space like a hub on mars.
this is cool, I might get it
I would like to see someone turn this set into a moon or mars base! That'd be awesome.
Thanks for delivering TOP QUALITY reviews!
You could make a futuristic New Many City with robots and aliens that takes place in the distant future.
Dejavu? was there another set that looked abit like this that you have reviewed Jang?
