I believe 8 of wands is a bow and arrow that the person is about to set free. I wasn't interested in this deck initially but your review really intrigued me - these stripped down decks can hold a lot of meaning and can be great for developing intuition. Added to my list!

Very Art Nouveau/Deco! I love this and can't wait to get this. This renews the Aquarian Tarot for me but in an aesthetic I like much better.

Nice deck, but I wonder why The Tower is the only card shown from a traditional viewpoint (with the whole structure visible)? A depiction of a window with a person and/or debris falling past it would have been instantly recognisable (as The Tower), and kept it in line with the close-up approach employed in the rest of the cards. If I do buy the deck, that will bug me every time I see that card. :)

I was thinking the very same thing ! The Tower card is a style breach and an eye sore in relation to the rest of the deck. This card will always look and feel alien. Very unfortunate !!! 😒
I always consider that one or two cards from all tarot decks could have had better designs. I bought this pretty deck, but the tower card could have followed the same pattern, with a zoomed image and lightning hitting it on the side. Just like the judgment card, where the position of the hand is a little macabre... I would have put the hand pushing the coffin upwards, or simply a hand coming out of the ground, without the image of the coffin. However, 90% of the deck is very well executed and I recommend it to collectors.
The tower card is interesting as the creator said the reason why it’s not close up is that’s one card they rather not get too close too. The judgment card I agree is a bit ehh but still it’s a great deck :)
@@MsNikkieMichelle - I had read about this author's justification about the tower card, but I think it's an unreasonable neurosis. Yes..despite the extreme bad taste regarding the judgment card, overall it is a very interesting deck. I've been looking at his profile and he likes a dark vibe...skulls and so on...that's why he wasn't happy with the concept of arcane 20.
So I wasn’t going to purchase this deck but after watching I think it’s going on my wishlist. Very interesting deck. Thank you ❤
