- Never built a fire? Only done it with lighter fluid? Here's a quick guide to do it with only simple tools. Fire making was a part of everyday life for nearly everyone on earth until the last 100 years. Thats more than 99.9% of human history, and yet most people consider it an irrelevant skill. If times get hard, the grid goes down, or if any part of the delicate systems that powers modern civilization somehow fail, wood fire once again becomes the default way to get warm, cook food, sanitize water, and create light. Learn and practice this critical skill!

underrated channel. these skills actually matter
I really like your videos. I agree. Very underrated channel.
I think the most common mistake i make is thinking the flames themselves are where the heat is, and i put wood away from the center, and try to place things directly over the top. A cardboard fire looks intense, but i always see mine burn out after a minute
It's amazing how easy you make it look but I guess that just comes with experience 😅😅
Brilliant! Simple, and to the point. Can't wait to put this into action!
i love that wazoo necklace, i put it on every time i hit the trail.
I use this same setup in my log stove. Wood base, paper/wood shavings then kindling. Works great thanks for the videos.👍💯
Thank you
Hey man, I'm curious, what was the slip-fit axe you were using to carve out the rabbit's foot boomerang in that popular short? I'm a big fan of slip-fit axes and tomahawks, and that was a handsome one. Thanks in advance.

More fire videos please :)!!
Where did you get the necklace? I'd love to have that on me all the time and I don't even wear jewelery!
You know how to build a fire beautifully, I do not understand the amount of cuts you got in this video. Expert knowledge but bad execution makes me ponder
