That ending was pure class. Moog didn't wanna steal the spotlight, but rather let his friend bask in his happiness. A genuinely happy moment like that is so rare, and Moog recognized it instantly and didn't intervene at all. These two are good.

When Marty hugged Moog, that was such a wholesome moment ngl ☺ Threw me back to the drive way videos era and made me realize how far they came and that they deserve all this success. Well done lads! Cheers from Germany with all the love
yeah this is the kind of shit that makes MCM a top tier automotive channel (especially among 4wd). the sheer friendship and joy these two dingalings get when working together and building cars. good stuff all around.
Made me get a little misty eyed. Been watching a long time and that civic video had me worried. Marty seemed genuinely pissed at Moog. But this just shows how close these 2 are.
That’s exactly what I thought. They love each other’s and we can really see it!! What a fucking journey 🤯 I love these guys, damn!! Cheers from Belgium ✌️🍻
Man, I could literally FEEL Marty's joy just looking at the excitement in his face while whipping around the skidpan... and Moog, top tier move letting Marty enjoy his moment. That hug was well deserved.
At the end, Marty's excitement, Moog's reaction and that hug made me smile *so wide*. The thing about MCM is that it isn't really about cars. It's about two friends who love each other. They might as well be brothers.
I genuinely thought they were brothers for a while I still remember the first video I watched of these guy which is the budget street cred golf which inspired me beyond belief to buy a 600$ 95 accord from my brother that he was gonna scrap and just be done with it and give it the love it deserves and make into a cheap reliable daily driver with street cred so far I'm still working on getting it running correctly but I honestly love that car more than anything else and I have mcm to thank for the inspiration to do it
Seeing Marty jump out of the Levorg STI at the end of it all, and him just absolutely buzzing with excitement & joy and MOOG just letting him enjoy every second of his moment.. It damn well near brought a tear to my eye as a Car Guy It still really shows how much these two are True, Genuine, Down To Earth Car Guys after all these years!! And i have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this series, so far.. Thank You Marty & MOOG 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Marty's genuine reaction and Moogs response really shows how much passion they still have for what they have been doing for years. Here's to the next ten years of the best Australian 4x4 channel on RUclips!
I've never seen Marty this pumped after a build...and Moog's genuine happiness for his friend says it all about these two blokes. They make this channel so easy and enjoyable to watch!
I know it isn't much but this video was one of the most inspiring things I've ever witnessed. The joy, excitement, and such a satisfying feeling when so much hard work is put into something. You've truly given me hope that I can finish what I started and can do more if I put my mind to it. Thank you very much, you guys are my number 1 most favorite channel ever!
The pure joy on Martys face whilst spinning his Levorg STI on the spot was amazing. This series is great. No acting or playing to the camera, just pure, genuine excitement from a pair of pure petrol heads mucking about in cars 😀 finish wreckit then to the track for a MCM battle 👍
I honestly shed a tear watching Marty get out of the car in absolute joy, what a special moment for him! Awesome job guys!! It looks so good, can’t wait to see how far you take this!
Tears in my eyes at that ending and that hug at the drifting track! The purity of this friendship and the enjoyment you guys get out of the work you do on the cars is an inspiration, keep it up guys! Edit: Checked the comments now and I'm glad and proud of this community that I wasn't the only MCM fan with this reaction!
It was an epic ending to say the least and the pure joy at the skid pan was amazing wasnt it n like u said it was great to see so many all thought the same thing and thats what makes this channel and community great
I am an industrial designer, and I do design cars for a living. It was nice to hear your understanding of the work that goes into something as simple as a front bumper. Love the car by the way!
There is a reason that people go through all the headaches related to maintaining the flat four engines(oil leaks, head gasket, spark plug replacement, no engine bay space). Subaru's are great fun to drive.
Have always had a wagon finally did my first snow race last year I’m completely hooked plus still fits a bunch of shit in the back. As for Marty and Moog I expect to see some track times next video to compare when it was stock!😁
I have to agree. I've been a Nissan guy myself (owned 4 300zx's in the last 10 years) and while I still love my current Z. I REALLY want to drive a Subaru now.
I think this as become my most favourite episode of mcm ever... Marty's shear joy at the end comes first, closely followed by Moogs happiness at watching his mate loving it and letting him have his moment. Good man. Awesome!
I've never had a YT video actually make me get emotional before seeing this ending. Absolutely love seeing the brotherhood and love that this scene can spark. It's crazy how a simple machine like a car can bring people together and create these kind of moments. Keep doing what you're doing mates!

As an interior trim engineer working for an OEM, it’s nice to hear you guys covering how much goes into designing and engineering plastic injection moulded parts. The smallest of parts can take years to develop.

Been watching Moog and Marty for years and they are just so fresh and real! No fakery or pretend, they just do it for the love of cars and the passion is so tangible! Thanks a million and you bring so much joy to one happy doctor on night shift breaks!!
Alright, who is cutting onions in here? Marty's joy at the end of the video is so contagious that it got me emotional. Thank you to all the people behind MCM for your continuous work throughout the years making a whole bunch of project happen and making dreams come true. Love the ending. Moog and Marty have that special bond. I wish the car world was like this friendship, have fun but don't show off how much better you or your car is. I don't care that you make 500 more hp if you never drive it compared to my daily driver. Every specialty item has these people who pay for the best, but never actually do anything with it making. Then you have those who point out how much money was put in, I don't care. Do you have fun or not? Don't bring others down or make excuses, have fun.
I just want to thank everyone else who supports these guys, because I'm just stoked to see Marty's face light up that way and happy to help make this beautiful moment happen.
That car is a real credit to you mighty car blokes. Super well done! What a great machine!! Suby really missed a trick with this one. Martin's joy says it all! 😁
Yes, Subaru have gone all soft in the belly and toyota-ish. Wonder why ;) Hopefully videos like this will leak back to Japan and influence the brand at least a little - shed some of that toyota fat.

In my books, this is the best car you guys have ever modified. The pure joy and fulfillment in Marty's eyes is hugely inspiring to me. I cannot wait to see what you guys do with it next. Maaaaaaad props lads! A long-time fan.
Aww man, when Marty hugs Moog thanking him, it hit the feels!! Especially Moog saying he's not gonna drive it, cuzz its Marty's thing!! So wholesome in just like brothers! Congrats on the quick turn around in this project
I've been an Industrial Designer for 21 yrs (sadly not automotive), and I gotta say it's one of the most underrated and under respected professions out there. So thanks Moog for the shout out!
@@Justinhomii Look mate, We don't talk about Toyota owning a share of Subaru, Keep that on a downlow would you. Subaru is still independent from Toyota with their cars and philosophy
Ive been a toolmaker for 5 years or so now and youre absolutely spot on with the moulds! Press and IM tools are silly amount of money these days because of the complex shapes involved. Generally you'll CNC out the main shape but for a smooth surface they need to be polished to within an inch of their life. Thats part of the reason that plastic bumper with loads of dimples in became popular - simply sandblast over a half decent finish and voila - uniform surface. Plus tooling for car manufacturing weighs several tonnes on its own. Stuff is no joke!
After a really shit day.... This is exactly what I needed. Marty' joy at the end genuinely put a massive smile on my face! Thanks guys for the years of effort you have put into this channel!
Not that there is a competition or something, but no one will ever top the quality of MCM videos. They deliver such genuine feelings through their videos, man its legendary. Cheers to more! Thank you!
I don't ever comment on RUclips videos. But , you letting him have his moment with car. Might be something small but it truly isn't something small. Not everyone gets alot of enjoyment from life. A small jester like that shows just how deep your guys friendship is.
I had tears in my eyes at the end. Marty was genuinely super stoked and happy about how this turned out. That was an amazing build already and you basically gave that wrecked STI a new live in a new skin. Amazing work you guys.
That’s why MCM, after all these years is still one if not my favorite YT channel. we, the average joe can relate. This is something you can build. I prefer this. MCM haven’t lost it’s ways, not like many others.. Good job
Marty’s genuine happiness and Moog allowing Marty to have that moment brought me a much needed smile today. Excellent work MCM, and please keep it coming!!
Hey guys, this is legendary stuff, and I am so happy for you! As a huge Subaru wagon fan, performance models from the past 15 years have been slim pickings.. but this is what we want 😁 I have previously written to Subaru pleading do a performance wagon in a manual. I think it would be a great opportunity to be a point of difference in the current market, not to mention win back many fans, it seems like a no-brainer. Since seeing this incredible series, I have been compelled to write to Subaru again, pointing out your ‘Lego’ build and telling them to take note of the "millions of views and hundreds of thousands of likes!" I hope they are listening. The WRX Sportswagon is the last chance. BUILD IT, AND THEY WILL COME!
My parents had a mid 80s Subaru GL-10 Turbo. Pirouetting in the snow remains one of the most memorable automotive experiences I've ever had. It was like sitting down in the middle of a whirlpool.
This video is what it's all about, the experience. It doesn't matter what car / bike it is. That emotion that Marty was feeling can't be summed up in words. Great stuff guys, keep it up. 😀
The level of happiness on Marty's face, and the honest love for him and his moment from Moog is why I've been watching since the Budget Street Cred (VW) 9+ years ago! True bothers and best friends all the way.
Had tears in my eyes watching the end guys.. being a car enthusiast and I've been fixing and modifying cars for a while now, I can imagine his feelings of satisfaction and success in the end with this achievement.. So stocked and happy for Marty and Moog's gesture in the end.. True Mates and car enthusiasts for sure where they understand each other.. ✌️
I've been watching from day one, I stumbled across the show after a serious motorcycle accident left me with endless time on my hands and I've been watching ever since I love working on my car and sometimes wonder if its even worth it. This video has reminded me how much joy you get from seeing something that you built, work. The genuine joy is Martys face and being allowed to have that moment of glory will stay with me forever. Best episode to date.
Oh man this was so amazing... that last part had me in tears, not because of the car, but because it shows the passion you guys have and how important this was for Marty. So glad you could make this happen!
This video actually made me tear up. Having a young family at this day age with inflation, war and a global crisis we’re going through watching this channel especially this series made me feel euphoric and all my negativity went away. I one day will get into a Subaru again, i miss the AWD system and it’s such a spirited car to drive. Thank you Moogs and Marty for creating amazing content. Love from the Hills area, Sydney.
I love my AWD Forester! Although it’s not a beast or anything crazy (My Forester they dropped the Turbo), but man do I love it! First time Subie owner, but I don’t think I’d be going to anything else. Here’s to you getting back into a AWD Subie!!
So happy for Marty! Subie addicts are long-suffering, and to see the joy of one of my own doing the Subie = Legos thing and making the car of his dreams is inspiring. I just stuffed a 3.0L H6 from an Outback in my little slug butt bugeye and made myself an Impreza GT. It will do 4 wheel burn-outs and cruise at 90mph all day long, as well as go off-road for some dirt fun, a real jack of all trades. I plan on driving it clear across the country when it's sorted.
I found this channel when i ordered my mk8 golf r and have been watching it for the last few months and it's by far the best tuner/enthusiasts channel on RUclips. Nothing better than a couple of mates building a car together then seeing the smiles on their faces while they're drifting. Well done
Ngl I think you have just reached peak Subaru for me. One of my favourite builds you guys have done, and it has come out looking amazing. Hats off to you guys for creating this masterpiece and showing what Subaru missed out on!
You have make a huge sensational work on your LeVoRG... More than before, i love more the subies... Your friendship is pure, genuine and honest. We need that in our world, the more is possible... Grettings from Swiss
One of the fastest go to whoa builds in the history of RUclips and with the best performance improvements and never once called the car a nugget. Your passion is infectious and this is why your loyal subscribers love MCM. Well done lads!
I caught myself smiling from ear to ear at the end there. Absolutely amazing car and amazing people. You can see a clear sibling like bond between them. I love these guys. Keep making these videos for us please don't stop. If I could I would press that thanks button
Don't mean to quote you guys, but that is what it's all about. I got tears in my eyes from seeing the friendship and genuin fun you have. That's why I am in to cars. Fun and friends!
Been following you guys for years, and this has to be one of the top video series of ever seen you do. Even though it’s so short. Marty’s pure joy and Moog just letting his friend enjoy the moment… that is infectious positivity! So thanks for sharing that and bringing us all along for the ride.
Many RUclips channels making swaps and all that other bs, but mighty car mods the only one doing it right from the start and making actual good and fun content.
This whole build is why I love this channel soo much. From Moog hating this car on day 1 to doing everything it took to get Marty that final product just because he knew he would love it....purity right there.
What a car, what a project!!! Genuinely got emotional with just how excited and happy Marty was at the end, and Moog, your reaction to it was priceless too, really shows how special your friendship is. All the years you boys have been doing what you do and to see that the love for it all is just as fresh still, it's just brilliant!!! Why I love MCM so much!
This is why I watch and sub to this channel. The pure joy that a car enthusiest or any kind can experience. Keep it up the content gents, and thanks for the smiles!
You guys should be proud of how you've grown. The channel, yourselves and your maturity in the decisions you make now. Though, to be fair, finances help in the decisions. Well done and that's why I keep watching.
Took my '17 WRX to stage 2 this past weekend and seeing Super Grams pirouette was exactly what I needed to start my weekend off right. Definitely empathizing with Marty's euphoria with my results as well!
Fog lights are a must where I live. Would always lean towards putting them on the new front bar. It looks like the fog lamps would have just set behind the plastic grill. I just love wagons. I miss my old Golf Syncro wagon and this is just like a dream wagon. Even better than SuperGramps.. I wish I could give you guys 2 thumbs up..
Brings a tear of joy to my eye 🥲. Great build. I have a STI hatch and man out of all the cars I've driven nothing compares to how raw it truly is. I think in 10-15 years from now we will look back and realize what an amazing mechanism Subaru has made (despite its issues 😅). Up there with the jdm turbo era greats.
The only channel that I get emotional over. Goose bumps and teary eyes CONGRATULATIONS guys great job. Marty is so happy and Moog is so awesome celebrating the happiness with him. Great... just Great!!

Everyone is saying it, but Marty's unalloyed joy at the end, with Moog's love for his friend... Knocked it out the park lads. Bravo
Thats the best current Subaru Wagon swap ever
Toyota*
@@Justinhomii what?
@@hector_nimrod yea idk what homie talking about
He’s talking about a 2J in a forester or something super stupid like that. 😂
Add to that they are made with hardened tool steel and that just adds to the cnc costs
After a really shit day.... This is exactly what I needed. Marty' joy at the end genuinely put a massive smile on my face! Thanks guys for the years of effort you have put into this channel!
I've had those days, it's always Awesome when that happens !! Good Luck in your car builds of the future !
Me too
Not that there is a competition or something, but no one will ever top the quality of MCM videos.
MEN!!! this could be a 15 parts series, and you giving us in just 4!!! ALWAYS put a smile in my face. LOVE IT!!!
Love Marty's reaction! So awesome seeing this wagon doing donuts so easily stock!
That’s why MCM, after all these years is still one if not my favorite YT channel. we, the average joe can relate. This is something you can build. I prefer this. MCM haven’t lost it’s ways, not like many others.. Good job
hearing Marty at the end and the legit happiness at how well it works had me smiling ear to ear.
Gotta love that. Watching Marty’s joy literally put a smile on my face. Cheers guys!
Marty's pure joy is the best thing ever. And Moog recognizing it just makes me love you guys more. Awesome job.
Marty’s genuine happiness and Moog allowing Marty to have that moment brought me a much needed smile today. Excellent work MCM, and please keep it coming!!
Hey guys, this is legendary stuff,
and I am so happy for you!
As a huge Subaru wagon fan, performance models from the past 15 years have been slim pickings.. but this is what we want 😁
I have previously written to Subaru pleading do a performance wagon in a manual. I think it would be a great opportunity to be a point of difference in the current market, not to mention win back many fans, it seems like a no-brainer.
Since seeing this incredible series, I have been compelled to write to Subaru again, pointing out your ‘Lego’ build and telling them to take note of the "millions of views and hundreds of thousands of likes!"
I hope they are listening.
What a swap, this has to be my favorite project that you've done in a fair while. Keep at it legends.
I've been watching from day one, I stumbled across the show after a serious motorcycle accident left me with endless time on my hands and I've been watching ever since
I love working on my car and sometimes wonder if its even worth it.
Anybody that’s worked on a car can probably relate to that moment of pure joy. This is freaking awesome guys. Super inspirational!
Yeah that's exactly me after changing the oil filter 🚐
Well done
Seeing Marty this happy is honestly a huge uplift for my day. Great series, can't wait to see where it goes from here!
Seeing Marty jump for joy really made my day. Thanks guys, you're awesome!
That end part got me bawling. Absolutely perfect dynamic between these two! Had me watching from Marty's mum's garage until now!
One of the fastest go to whoa builds in the history of RUclips and with the best performance improvements and never once called the car a nugget. Your passion is infectious and this is why your loyal subscribers love MCM. Well done lads!
21:15 onwards, this is what the car scene should be all about. Epic experiences shared with friends. Well done boys, mega!
Exactly! Luckily, There are plenty who are mature enough to know this.
Possibly the best video series I've seen from you guys! That car is awesome and seeing Marty soooo happy just made it!
That’s some genuine levels of happiness there. Really loved how that wagon turned out.
Many RUclips channels making swaps and all that other bs, but mighty car mods the only one doing it right from the start and making actual good and fun content.
These guys will go down as the best RUclips automotive channel that this platform will ever see… legends
Actual goosebumps while watching you guys do the skids after all the hard work that's put into it. ❤️
Great video, this was an emotional one to see how happy both Marty and Moog were. Love your work, can’t wait for more you legends.
You guys capture the joy of completing a vehicle and USING it like no other. Well done, excellent work. Rock on.
This whole build is why I love this channel soo much. From Moog hating this car on day 1 to doing everything it took to get Marty that final product just because he knew he would love it....purity right there.
Absolutely amazing, you guys killed it!
Now what about Supergramps? 😏
Such a rad build, congrats team ❤
This is why I watch and sub to this channel. The pure joy that a car enthusiest or any kind can experience. Keep it up the content gents, and thanks for the smiles!
Great editing at the end! That song just gives goosebumps everytime
Be proud lads, you’ve done such a good job of this install that you’ve made it look almost easy 👌
Never seen a bro beam like that before! Well done brothers!! Such a EPIC journey 🔥🔥❤❤
That shot of Tuning fork standing on the floor with Marty standing on the dyno and they’re the same height is hilarious 😂
That was so easy. Now I need to find a LaVorg and a banana'ed STI then get started, lol.
Awesome series!
If you have a CANBus guru to help you!
Your videos are so high quality. So well done yet still free and relatively still adds free after all these years. Its truly amazing. Well done guys.
What an awesome project. I've seen similar builds done in the Audi world before... many times we don't get models like the S4 and RS4 in wagon form in the US, so you make one yourself!
