I don't know where to put the so excuse me for putting it here. I follow six RUclipsrs closely. You're one of them. You're the only one who hasn't made changes making me feel like I wanna stop following them on RUclips. Thank you for the great shows Congratulations. Keep up the great work.

Nice review. Some of these embellished versions work, some don't. But there are lots, lots of songs, alternate versions, etc, on every one of these box sets
On Northwinds and Whitesnake Original recordings, Roger Glover was the producer. Some of the songs were intended for Deep Purple Follow up albums to Come Taste The Band. I am 64 and delighted these albums are resurfacing but don't agree with messing about with remixes or embellishments. Thank God he can't remix Burn, Stormbringer and Come Taste The Band. Not to mention the excellent Coverdale Page album. For Deep Purple he did perform over 100 concerts as management would insist on album tour album tour with hardly any breaks. I remember the 70s well. Thank you for posting.
Great value on the states ,varies from €110-€140 in Ireland & Europe ,bought the vinyls ,will wait for it to come down before I purchase ! Great review as always !
Thank you Brendon, a great review. I remember how fond I was of Into the light back in 2000 making me wonder whether a remaster really is needed? 🤷🏼♂️🎸🙌🏻🎃
Great review! I’m hoping that they’ll issue just the 3 albums in jewel cases. I’m not really interested in having multiple versions of each album and have never owned them.
The CD box set on amazon is $113 here in Canada and the 2 LP version is $61, that alone is a no for me. I do own quite a few of the Whitesnake re-releases so if this comes down in price I might think again. Thanks for the open and honest review Brendon.
You say he only did a 3 year stint in Deep Purple. In that time he made 3 albums and performed in over 100 concerts. Some tracks on Northwinds were intended for Deep Purple Follow up album to come taste the band. My favourite frontman David Coverdale.
Always had mixed feelings about his Solo albums, but I will most probably eventually get this Box-Set, the new Remixes sounds very interesting. My Whitesnake goes to 1984, after that I really have no interest, I didn't like the 1987 album and sidn't care much for the one from 1989, so I lost interest in the later stuff, and when I have tried to get into the later stuff I have failed as well. But from Slide it in and back, I really loved the Band.

Out of curiosity, who are the other five? (reason I'm asking: I am just wondering if they're channels I don't know and I should check out too)

Northwinds is an absolute classic and up there with his very best
Yeah I always thought that was a killer album too and better than his debut solo album.
Nice review Brendon. Do you plan on reviewing Queen1 box set when it becomes available. It looks amazing.
Indeed. Great album, made even stronger by the remix.

If you enjoyed it in 2000, you’re still going to enjoy it. Yes you’ll like the remaster but the remix is even better.
Well done. Twisted my arm to get.
wow so many CDs collection sir

“Re-brandishing” is a good way to phrase it for this band 😂

Great video and great channel. Pat over at close to the edge recommended I have a look at your channel and I really like it and subscribed.
Thank you that’s great to hear! Thank Pat for me. I appreciate him sending viewers my way.
@@BrendonSnyder I will tell him as he's only after starting up his channel recently.
Coverdale/Page is in need of a remix, too. The drum sound, particularly the snare, is lacking.
Thanks for the heads up based on your information I am now going to pass on this item
