Bud I love the new take on how to animate the camera. Having individual xf nodes to move it instead of storing the keyframes in the cam node itself is cleaner and less prone to troubleshooting shotty animations
I normally never comment but I found your tutorial super helpful! That’s exactly what I’ve been looking for for hours. Thank you! Also, don’t pay too much attention to the harsh comments regarding your voice. You now know what you can improve in your next video and I could even understand you well at 2x speed - so, it can’t be THAT bad… 😉🚀
0:52 hi plz help, mine is not moving 360 degree view in 3D space. is there any settings for that/. while click and draging mouse pointer its moving only UP DOWN while holding shift key. no side angle
Well I learned the basics from yt, then I try to recreate whatever I find interesting. You can learn faster this way, but if you get stuck then look up a tutorial.
Well if you animate from one then you have to stop the motion to make another one but when you use multiple transform you dont face that problem and you can make smoother animation because it doesn't have to stop, hope that helps.
There is a way to do that, but imo its better to recreate it once so you can understand it, then you can copy your own node tree and use it when you need it. Because if you dont understand how its done you cant adjust it later.
My text is not showing up in the fusion page, I have connected it to a image plane and connected it to the merge 3D node, but it still does not show up. Is there something im missing?
Well as you add more transforms the values dont stay fixed and you just have to find the right value manually, its not that hard just center it in the frame and dont forget to have the same spline for all the keyframes because if you dont then its gonna mess up the timings and your animations will look off, hope that helps. If you have more questions you can contact me through twitter.
I tried to add dotted lines that would go from one text to another text along with the camera but I failed to do this effect. Can you please make a video on this?
What you can do to make it simpler, just add a paint node connect background node to it, bring the alpha of the background down to 0, now connect your paint node to image plane, than connect image plane to merge 3D, then go to the image plane transform and in the X rotation type in -90, after that just go to your Paint node adjust your Brush size and spacing, then have your merge 3D in the left viewer and Paint node in your right Viewer, Adjust your 3D viewer so you are looking on the letters from above and than just paint your path in the Paint node Viewer and adjust your points based on words in 3D view, then you can go and just animate write on in your Paint node that with every new word it paints on. This way the dotted line will animate bellow the words and will look like its animating on the floor, hope it helps, if not shoot me a mail or DM me on twitter and we will figure something out.
Oh and I forgot you should scale your Image plane up so it can cover more space and adjust it according to how many words you have in your composition.
The point is to leave the camera node to itself if you want to adjust something on the camera node you don't screw up your keyframes and the second point is that in order to have continuous movement you can't put all the keyframes on one transform node because then the movement would have to stop between keyframes, but adding more transform nodes you don't face that problem because you can change the movement of camera before the movement from the previous transform node stops and that gives you the effect of continuous movement throughout your animation, hope this explanation helps.
We do touch on that but since I used Depth of Field which is already a very demanding effect for the PC I opted out of using motion blur in the tutorial, because not everyone has a PC that can handle all that, but sure adding motion blur can make it better, I should probably start addressing that in the videos, Thank you :)
@@mbvisualedits 100% true lol Crazy thing though is, I’ve been using resolve for about a year now, starting delving into the 3d system not too long ago and there is not even one tutorial on youtube that lets you know the motion blur resides in the 3d renderer node. I have seen people use directional blur and the vector motion blur but no one has ever mentioned that at all. I discovered that just last night😂 and I combined it with the dop but of course had to render in place else well., you alrdy know. Made the movements soo much more realistic and smooth
Well with dop and motion blur its got to look good haha thanks for the tip, didnt know other creators dont use render node motion blur tbh that was suprising ngl.
@@mbvisualedits I think its cuz its a bit hidden in settings tab on the renderer node unlike in AE where its just a button on the left side the whole time😂
I know how it feels I have 3060 12gb and its slow for me too. Fusion is a resource hog. Lets just hope that they will optimize it better in the future.
This is a cool and helpful video and all, but dude, you need to clearly annunciate your words. You narration makes the video borderline unlistenable, im not hating im just letting you know its absolutely something youre going to have to address if you want to continue making videos.
Thank you for the feeback, as English is not my firts language I mess up and quite down so thats why it sounds horrible haha but im trying to work on it, but it takes time ..
thank you for the tuto another thing i hate that every RUclipsr is playing with his voice idk but this is so annoying bro use your natural voice and stop speaking like this or using voice changers anyway thank you i really appreciate the help and if this is ur voice naturally srry
My PC can fry some eggs while i’m following these steps 😂😂
Hahaha I feel you brother 😂
Ok , parcel me when fry😂😂😂😂😂
Really? Do you mean the process of cooking eggs by frying? Please show it asap. Thanks.
Lol good one

Yeah 100% agree that its a lot better to do it like this
this channel is a gem
Glad to hear something like that :D
Thanks a ton. Was struggling with camera movements
Glad I could help.
I watch this video just about everyday and have yet to try it lol great channel 🔥 keep dropping gems.
Its time to try it out, better sooner than later.
Thank you :D

Thank you for leaving such a nice comment, glad I could help you 😁
Can you reproduce this tutorial but not with text but with images? or video as can be done in After Effect, please.
Do exactly the same thing just insted of a text+ node add your media in node. It can be done the same way with prictures and videos.
@@mbvisualedits Thanks, I'll give it a try.
Thank you for this! Wondering if there is a node / plug-in / technique to automatically organize media in a grid or vertical stack in 3D space?
That would be rly helpful but sadly I don't know of any plugin like that.
Yooo videos just keep getting better don't stop I want to learn moreeee
Haha thank you and dont worry I wont stop creating content :D
@@mbvisualedits Great can't wait to see whats next
Thanks a lot! This is the first Fusion tutorial I've learned, and I find it extremely well explained, bravo!
Thank you, Im glad I could be helpful to someone learning fusion :D
Now i have to figure out how to do it with a clip instead of text. Is it basically the same process?
Yeah exactly the same just insted of text+ node you connect your mediain node
Somehow, when i enable Depth of Field, it is inverse, so Text which is framed get blured and not the BG, what am i doing wrong?
0:52 hi plz help, mine is not moving 360 degree view in 3D space. is there any settings for that/. while click and draging mouse pointer its moving only UP DOWN while holding shift key. no side angle
Alt and hold middle mouse button and you can rotate it however you want.
awesome! great tip on making transform 3d nodes intead of working only with the camera, speeds up a lot
Glad you could learn something new from my video, thanks :D
Bro How you enabled Ease in and out in spline cause By clicking E Mine Is Not Working
When in spline select the keyframe you want to ease in or out and then you can click S or F to ease them by pressing S or F you get different eases.
omggg i was thinking of this and your video just popped up
I can read minds 😂
when i made mine near the end of the video mine got VERY LAGGY
Thanks for a very useful video. Can you share a little how you learn Fusion.

@@mbvisualedits Thank you!
Amazing bro, but why do u use a lot of transform 3d, if u can animate from one? Thnx

@@mbvisualedits thnx for ur answer mate, I will try 🙂🙌🏻
Unbelievable 😮
Why?
@ very hard to understand 🙂↔️
Once you start working with it it all just clicks and becomes easy
Is there no way you can somehow save this node tree as a preset and share it with us plssss?
There is a way to do that, but imo its better to recreate it once so you can understand it, then you can copy your own node tree and use it when you need it. Because if you dont understand how its done you cant adjust it later.

It should be there, try to scale it up and change z axis in image plane it could be that it is behind a background.
@mbvisualedits I figured it out, I had to enable the merge 3d node on the screen. Thank you for the help 🙌
11:30 I just dont understand that part maybe I am dumb but I dont get how

How do you add a camera shake tho?
You can add it after renderer 3D, just press shift+space and type in camera shake.

my pc started tweaking right after playing with camera zoom depyh thing

How do you mean how to apply? Is everything connected properly in fusion?

Whats the point of making a bunch of transform nodes rather than putting all the keyframes on one transform node or even just the camera itself?

Please make video on this issue,
Your GPU memory is full 😢
Try reducing the timeline resolution Or the number of characters.
Try updating your Graphics drivers/Davinci Resolve. If that doesnt work try deleting your old projects. For some people that worked.
yoo! does this work on the free version of it?!

Go to your camera node and go to the controls tab there you have the slider for Focal Plane, adjust it to the letters and problem solved.
