While there would obviously be risks, I am shocked by the overall lack of edgeguard attempts by Shadic. While Corrin isn't a god offstage, they aren't hopeless either and do have good edgeguarding tools. At least good enough that I feel at some point a serious attempt needed to be made. Shadic was ledgetrapping well enough but that alone only goes so far. I mean look at 20:30 . There was time to at least try something. Run off Counter or even a Pin to ledge attempt. It's not to say those would have worked but if you don't try you could miss out on information to make the next attempt better. And if an attempted edgeguard early on went bad I could understand the hesitation but we never really saw that through the whole set.

Thank you!
I’m a shadic fan and I usually complain about when the losing feels like bs for shadic but gakt 💯 worked and earned every single win from this game.
What a set and treat for Gackt fans and ness players alike vs arguably the toughest matchup.
What an amazing performance by Gackt! This matchup doesn't seem easy.
I agree as a ness main this matchup is difficult because disjoint and invincibility on startup with up b
@@nintendom7293the invin on corrin up b doesnt matter at all lol the only thing corrin up b does in this mu is that u can ignore yoyo on ledge
@@jacksonb3175 i know
@@nintendom7293ness has crazy hboxes tho so I’d think in some cases that’d work in his favor
Trust me, this match up sucks for Ness. I have to play twice as patient against good Corrin mains just to win a neutral interaction lol
Gakt played out of his mind!
Gackt was NEXT LEVEL this tournament
Please start calling Gackt "The Tokyo Partner"
What do they talk about between sets when they are standing on their phones can someone fill me in?
I don't know either but I assume stage bans and picks
