Gackt does such a good job of making Ness seem cool and fun. Every time I watch him (and Scend) play Ness I want to pick the character up but I'm SO bad at recovering with him.

I was confused as well while watching game 4 thinking Sisqui why do you keep trying to challenge Ness in the air when you win by staying more grounded and that ending Sisqui did get-up attack multiple times against the yo-yo and he decided to jump not once not twice but three times.

I feel like it’s more annoying for you to get off ledge than it is for him to get off ledge. Maybe focusing on grinding out different ledge scenarios will make the game of attrition easier for you in the future in this matchup.
I would also say you should avoid options coming out of disadvantage when getting hit towards the ledge. I think he’s just too on top of them.
Maybe do it once to show you are willing to throw out an option. But then maybe just feints and baits after that.
Edit: I swear whenever I leave a comment on your sets you literally make the exact adaptions you need the next game. Your ability to know when to switch your autopilot makes you the best samus. The ness had to use a different strategy with those diagonal pk fires that game and you still took it. But I feel like I have to comment during the game because there is so much to remember. You are very self aware while you are playing
