- Summer is starting in Pleasantview, and this is how I manage all the sims moving back to the 'hood and all the sims moving out to university!

I love to see there's other people still playing The Sims 2 and actually playing it very similar to my own gameplay. I always thought I was a bit crazy with my rotational systems (which maybe I am, but at least I'm not the only one lol). Great video!

Autumn boosts are a lifesaver at uni! I hope you'll show us the dorm gameplay some time, it looks like a fun group.
I always keep university in autumn too! It also helps pleasure/popularity/romance sims roll skill wants more often so they are less likely to drop out if you play wants-based.

Damn I just restarted Pleasantview, and am about 5 years in. I can’t imagine getting all the way to 100- its so impressive. Ive been following rules already on procreation and allowing students to fail- how have you managed that with so many generations?
I never expected to keep playing so long, so I never controlled the population, but ACR helps with limiting fertility (most of the time lol)… I used to work so hard to get all my students to pass college but now because there are so many I’m a bit calmer… if they drop out they go back early, and the game punishes them with fewer want slots so that works for me! I actually have my next video coming out tonight which is all about how I do university, so I hope that helps too! Thank you for watching and commenting 😊

thats alot of work to get them all even to 2nd gen. Buck Newson? is he child of one of the Newson kids?. i like seeing how others play out the premade nhoods, it got me back into ts2. wish i still had or can find my save file from aeons ago xD
theres something about Pleasantview that i just love and keep coming back to and not the other premade nhoods. i think its the story they made, i liked all the characters
I always send them to Sim State, i assume the other 2 are for Strangetown and Veronaville
do you align university rotation with main nhoods rotation? like do you have the young adults age at the same time? cause im not sure what to do on that. not all sims have to or might "want" to go to college. and the uni might be a "suspended time" kinda thing.but then you cant play tje main nhood/other subhood sims until the sims you sent to uni are out? its a little confusing
@@gdust6579 I send them all in batches, so if sim A would age up on the first day of summer but sim B would age up on the fourth day, they both go to the university bin and both do uni during the fall season. It’s not perfect and it probably messes the ages up a bit but it’s the only way I can stay sane 😅 Buck is Gavin Newson’s son, Gavin is the second eldest OG Newson 😊

A few years ago I created a list to find and track their age again, and then I turned it into a table, but I guess I may not have completely taken note of each family's age at the beginning of the game. I'm not sure. I don't want to reset the game recording, I've gone too far in families. Do you have a list that shows how many days families stay in days or how many days are older than each other? Or, you know a list that someone else created. I think I haven't played sims 2 in 2 years and now I'm afraid to open the game to avoid doing anything wrong, I'm afraid to disrupt the whole order. Can you help me or can you give an advice for that?🙏🏻🍀Especially Desiderata valley, Riverblossom Hills, Belladonna Cove, Downtown , College Towns, Bluewater Village. I've tried to find others in the beginning of the video and found some of them but I don't know much because they usually don't know much about these worlds but ofc if I find the age record of all the original worlds in The Sims 2 put it back into a list and play it, I'll enjoy it more and there won't be any confusion. Please help me with this.
Thank you for commenting! I don’t have a list of ages at the start of the game, sorry! And I haven’t played enough of the hoods other than the base ones to offer any help 😅 I take a pretty casual approach to the rotations and don’t try to sync ages. I always play the Broke family first so I think they ended up a rotation ahead before I started playing properly rotationally.
My advice would be not to worry about messing it up, I never play houses the same order each round, I play the story to want to play whenever I load in, I just make sure not to play more than to the end of the season. ❤️
@@Katie_Catastrophe ahaha yeah Actually I didn't play with round but 2 years ago I had got many family members and it was little bit confused me so I decided to try that and thanks for advice probably I don't have to worry about ages . Also suprisingly When I started game I realized I already coppied all towns so I can check from there but now I have got a bigger problem . I have got Sims 2 Ultimate Collection. Few days ago I started the game and I didn't even save anything but today it's not working I got some error on screen. Game didn't start just EA launch opened and I tried start on launch but it didn't work. Sims 2 just in EA games launcher Origin isn't usefull anymore but I couldn't find config file and other things can you help about that what can I do?🙏🏻 It's not working I got some error on EA Games Launch screen "you can double click on game tiles to quickly launch a game" Please can you help me?🙏🏻
