I also play with a kind of class system in my modern uberhood. However, I separate again within the upper class. The leaders of society are the Goths, the Landgraabs, the Montys, the Capps, the DeBateaus and the Specter-Nigmoses. And then there are the upper class that they also associate with but are a little less prestigious e.g. the Roths or the Contender-Baldwins. I'm still in Generation 01 and currently the match making in the upper class is mostly about the Veronavilla feud and who they each can make alliances with. So far the Goths were able to stay above it but Alexander is in a semi-arranged relationship with Tara DeBateau whose step-mother is Bianca Monty. Since I use the clean templates, my Bella is actually back and so Dina needed to dig for gold somewhere else. She is now the wife of Consort Capp, although they had to take his maiden name as their family name as Juliet is strict about the Capp matrilineal tradition. She tolerates her grandfather remarrying but she won't have Capps without Capp blood. Of course I broke her and Romeo up and wrote it as a stupid teenage fling which end only reignitated the feud. Juliet also arranged her siblings marriages into the Landgraab and Specter-Nigmos family while she herself controversially married her first cousin (I thought I go full royalty here with keeping it in the fanily 😅). Technically my upper class can marry anyone they want but they will get judged by their peers for not marrying within their class. So Dina will never be fully accepted by the other wives and daughters of the families. Her children with Consort however will be accepted because of their father but they will rank more among the entourage than the leaders of society.

Love this series !!! The sims 2 is still THE best 20 years later!

I've never seen a sim juggling teacups before. I wish they would have included that animation in Sims 3.

You’d have been better off playing Don first for two days, his lifetime relationship moves up with Cass then play Goths and the marriage is successful. I used to have Dina marry Mortimer and move into their mansion. I had Cass move in with Darren and solve their poverty issues. I think the game wants you to move Mortimer in with Dina and take her name (hate that) and have Cassandra raise Alex and then have her move in with Darren and Alex be the air

Maybe Nervous could move in and find out his mother is worse than Circe and Loki! That would be dark. Although Ophelia and Ripp are the 'second' couple (after her & Johnny) I never play them getting together. Maybe they should!

My current version is similar. Although I am letting Don openly cheat and just smooth talk to 'fix' the jealousy and anger. (It doesn't always work.) ;)

I think Kenji, Sadie, and Ola could make a good household of three people, maybe not polyamorous but at least 'free love' type of thing.

I was wondering why there weren't any more Haven Rock episodes. One Drive is the Sims' nemesis. It would be interesting to see how the trouple plays out on high free will. I can't imagine the girls would put up with it indefinitely and would force Kenji to choose.

It's too bad about Haven Rock, OneDrive sounds like a real menace. But this is a really cool premise and I'm looking forward to it! I always love a good starter camp where everyone mingles before branching off. I've had a throuple before! They started out very much the same way these three have, lmao. I think it was a combination of a romance mod (probably Pescado's, this was a decade plus ago) and ACR settings that made it work, and then the Marhis wedding interactions when I wanted multiple-way marriage ties. The relationships did need rescuing now and again, especially if they caught each other 'cheating' on community lots... There are probably more up-to-date ways of going about it!

Oh I'm heartbroken for you for losing that hood :< I go back to that series often and had wondered what had happened. I swear, OneDrive was made specifically to murder sim games.... feels like anyway. I am already in love with this new story though, what I fun way to start! And 100% here for the thruple, they seem so happy and chill together haha Here's to a new adventure!

When I heard the phrase "roll for permits" I instantly got hermitcraft flashbacks... So happy to have you back on RUclips! I missed your videos. I LOVE randomness! So much that my favourite playstyle is randomly picking wants and fulfilling them, which drives the plot for my games. So your idea about wildcard bacc is so cool and I love the special events and rolling for permits! Also the way you let them pair up reminded me a lot about the reality show but without, you know, deadly challenges :D OMG yes, I'm all in for the throuple! Actually when I was watching I mentally begged you not to pick one and let them be together. This dynamic is unusual, I've never played with it and I'm so excited to see it in action, especially since those three are so cute together and the way girls congratulated each othet and how Kenji turned back and forth between them was so cute and funny, and it feels like an actual crime to separate them. I have played a fair share of open relationships so I was learning a lot about jealousy! In ACR jealousy depends on relationship status and more or less is given to the sims based on their aspirations. So family sims have maximal non-maxis level (in love) and romance sims have minimal (no jealousy). Maxis level is Crush and it's never given to sims by default. Also I believe it's possible to remove jealousy was particular sims, but I'm not sure Don't worry, flirt & woohoo have no difference in terms of causing jealousy, just in terms of impact on the relationship if sims were caught cheating and the distance from which they can be detected. But still be careful as I had a situation where my romance sims got jealous about the other romance sim he was engaged with, and I to this day don't know why it happened. Maybe the mod bugged or I somehow switched his jealousy level, I'm not sure. I hope it helps!

I'm really sorry about Haven Rock. I can only imagine the dread you must have felt. Yeah One Drive is bad news! When I set up my Windows profile my partner forbade me to use One Drive as it can f*** up files. Onto greener pastures with this new BACC 🙂

Loving the new BACC I enjoy the new features. And yes you can get pollysmaray mods, can get a trait to stop jealousy, can also get a mod where you can be steady, engaged and married to multiple people you need a certain arch for that

Throuple, throuple! You could even have the girls fall in love with each other too. (They wouldn't auto cuz their gender prefs are set high)

I think having a throuple would be a cool dynamic for the new city! I believe that you can use ACR to reduce or eliminate the jealousy for each sim if you’d like. I’m excited to see more of New Haven! 😄

Headcanon: Miss West was working on her paranormal career to resurrect the other challengers that died during the Big House Fire. Something went wrong involving Llamas, a gardening plot, and the Grim Reaper, and everyone just... poofed into an alternate universe. That's my idea what happened, and I'm sticking to it.

one drive messed me up once too.. luckily it was just a few mods that I had backed up somewhere else. I would die a little if it did it something like this.

Aww sorry for the lost neighbourhood. I just changed PC and took ages disconnecting one drive and stopping it ruling my PC i hate it. I use google drive.
