In the stable version of Blender 2.8, when you are switching from Cycles to EEVEE, the nodes of the area lights will be not visible anymore. Is this means that Blender solve this conversion automatically?

If the conversion from cycles to eevee is as simple as that, why there is not a button to convert from one to another, or it is done automatically when you change render engine? It would be helpful, with several lights in the scene, instead of having to convert every single light. I guess the calibration between both engines is still in progress, that may be the reason. But I don't think it's such difficult to make a script for this.
it is not simple it is a trick to use tools as perfect as we can. and cycle is eevee converson is not like cycle infact... but eevee has own advantages too
In blender 2.81.16 i cant find the softness values for the lights as seen on 4:20, only contact shadows. What happened to softness? I found the soft shadows option in render settings, but there is no softness adjust value?
Bro will this fix my fish bowl which has glass node ..... Bcoz when i opened my file in blender evee without changing any thing i changed to veiw port render and there was no glass bowl(it was a solid sphere) will this fix that?????
@santi cheeks i have done everything......... But nothing worked. So i decided to make that glass in evee rather than making it in 2.79 and import to 2.8
Yes, it can happen, there are a lot of changes when the version of the blender update. This method was used to reduce the gap between the Cycles and the Eevee engine in the experimental version of Blender. But later versions have filled that gap.

Yes, new versions of Blender automatically solve this issue.

2.80 Beta version of blender’s Eevee engine not have caustics. This feature may available in next update version of blender.

New version of blender uses light data for the light. There is a no emissions shader. New versions of Blender automatically solve this issue.

If you dont have a floor I dont think it will show so you have to add a floor and background in order to see it I THINK
I have created an interior ( with floor and other objects ) . But i have problem only with glass
@@gwtuts4061 oh yeah if your on evee you need to turn on screen space refractions search it up and you could see, it will make your glass see through
