      At the CL Final 2018 Liverpool vs Real Madrid Liverpool´s goalie had his worst day of his entire life.
      You asked about his 3rd received goal which in all honesty shouldn´t happen but can happen when the Goalie is totally unlucky ..that is just bad luck BUT his 1st received Goal at 28:26 in your vlog was by far way way way worse, because he already had the ball totally save in his hands in his possession and additionally he also saw the opponant who then scored standing in front of him so he knew he was there...and in such a totally save moment then to conceive a Goal is not unlucky/bad luck anymore that is straight stupidity of the Goalie in that very moment.... just watch it again...that is the actual Goal where you have to ask "What do you do with the Goalie at that situation"..I will tell you "Chasing him out of the stadium while hitting him with a totally wet and dirty stinky floor cleaning cloth"

    To put into perspective for y'all american who follow this football recently. 2005 Champions League final when Liverpool down 0-3 by AC Milan in half time, was similar to 3-28 in Super Bowl 2017. So this football had improbable comeback in final way earlier.

    To really understand the passion you need to know more about history of football, about how hard it is to just get in the Champions League for a team, about how it's rare to go to the final and in general how it's hard to score a goal. There are 90 minutes of pure tension and physical and tactical affrontement each time, and the game can always turn either way at any moment, but not a lot of goal are scored. That's just a bit of thoughts to help you understand the passion.

    AC Milan, Liverpool and Valencia were crazy team earlier 2000´s. AC Milan was the most favorite team in Europe. Maldini, Nesta, Gattusso, Dida, Inzaghi and many more legends one by one. Real Madrid has the most UCL title and second club AC Milan. AC Milan was underrated meanwhile everybody talks about Barcelona but honestly AC Milan and Liverpool were different. Also German clubs destroyed Barcelona like Bayern won 8-2 (Barca with Messi) but also destroyed Tiki-Taka system against Xavi, Iniesta and Messi.

    • @DL-yr6ne
      @DL-yr6ne 2 года назад +1

      @Aditya Chopra Yes, true but also their achievement to be the second club to win the most UCL titles says enough. Over these years other super clubs should’ve have won more in history than AC Milan right now. Bayern Munich has now 6 AC Milan has still 7 and Real Madrid takes the lead with 13 UCL titles. So their team in those great years of them were just very, very good especially in the earlier 2000’s area every big club/team in Europe had the best players. You couldnt say Real, Bayern Munich or Arsenal are better than Chelsea, Liverpool, Inter or Juventus in those years because they were almost equal to each other of how good their players were even in the own league. The big clubs were competitive to each other like they were facing themselves or looking to the mirror almost scary. I really miss those days.

    interesting story about the 2020 and 2021 finals: PSG, in the 2020 final, was managed by Thomas Tuchel, and the captain of that team was legendary defender Thiago Silva. As you know now, they lost that final. Chelsea signed Thiago Silva on a free transfer that summer, and signed Thomas Tuchel as their manager half way through the season. I was a goalie. Saving a penalty is like the proudest feeling you'll ever have but making saves is kinda basic. Like you expect yourself to save everything so making normal saves is just another day at the office but making big saves is nice, when the whole team gets riled up and comes over and celebrates and shit. But that good feeling isn't as good as letting in goals feels bad. You can save 20 shots, let in 1 and lose and you only think about the negative. Kinda good feeling when you win 1-0 though when you've literally saved the team, they didn't play that well but you saved it and someone scored for ya

The decades of agony and humiliation was paid off on that particular moment, no matter you were old or young you would cry brother. And the other one. This is the ultimate happiness of the football fans. When your national team play on the final of world Cup. Imagine the whole nation stop just for 2 hours to watch your national team playing on the final stage. The gramps, the father and the son sit side by side. Imagine that the time square was blocked for the vehicles so the thousands of fans could watch on big monitors. And the Pandemonium after the final whistle that shocked whole country. And the tears of joy when your captain lift that golden trophy of world Cup. Nothing can compete that. This something most of y'all American can't relate. You call your national league champions as world champions yet the only competitors were the team within USA.

    I think the reason why football has such a passionate fan base is because:
    1) Most people support a team from their hometown. It's an intergenerational thing.
    2)Most games are once-off. So that means that there's a genuine 50 percent chance that your team could win it all or lose it all. Especially in a final, where unlike in the states it's not played out through multiple games.

    Ronaldo is called Mr Champions league. he has won the most out of any player, has the most records including goals and assists too (i believe). literally the whole competition brings out the monster in Ronaldo. after his dominant run with Real Madrid he went to Juventus to try deliver them a Champions League as well since they had an unlucky run of getting close to winning but choking. however their team was far too weak to win. and now, he’s single handily carried manchester united into the next round, without him they would of been eliminated right away.

They found out after the game that he was playing with a concussion after an elbow by Ramos to his head when ref was not looking. In that game, Ramos injured two Liverpool players (Mo Salah and Karius), but never got a red card. Hopefully in the future he is able to bounce back. He actually seems like a great guy, so I am rooting for him.
