It makes me smile, laugh and feel so very happy hearing this absolutely awesome concert, it's wonderful. ❤️😃❤️ Even when Mr. Gert is having a TON of FUN on the organ he's a brilliant musician ! A true genius - the people in Holland should be very proud and happy to have him as their fellow country man.. What I like most is Mr. Gert is still a very kind, modest and decent young guy - in fact a role model for us all. I sang in the choir there in the 70s when Dan Byrd was the Choir Master and Diane Bish was the Master of the Organ. What grand memories I have of those Sundays, especially the Easter early services when Dan would announce "the sun is out and the Son is up!"
+Thom Faircloth We lived in Coral Springs when Bish was was there. It was just a tad too far to attend regularly. After we moved to the Orlando area she played the dedication service for a new organ in Winter Park. Of course we HAD to attend. Very sad what has happened at CRPC.
+Thom Faircloth Are you aware Dr. Kennedy died? Anyway, they called Tullian Tchividjian. Not the right choice according to Kennedy's widow and daughter. They led an exodus of about half the congregation. Things seemed to recover and go well until last year. You can go to his facebook page to read the latest.

The song following "Happy Birthday" is the traditional Dutch birthday song "Lang zal hij leven, lang zal hij leven, lang zal hij leven in de gloria, in de gloiria, in de gloria!" This is followed by the traditional cheer repeated three times: "Hieperdepiep hoera!" Translation: Long may he live in glory! Hip, hip, hooray!"
