@@LevelFlight There were lots of great, classy liveries like American, Panam , Eastern, Western ( The only way to fly), TWA, United Friendships, and Continental ( the proud bird with the golden tail ). Truly the golden age of commercial aviation.

I believe UA does that to save wear and tear on the engines, lowering maintenance costs
