That just isn't the case, a 50 win team is pretty good and nothing more. A team that barely cracks 50 should not even be considered a title contender. Be aware that media guys are ordered to overrate teams now because they want as many fans to watch and follow their team as possible. The more fans think their team might win it all, the more they watch. It really is a con job to get higher ratings. These media guys are just paid liars. He should hold his own legacy to the same standard. 2000 run was against kings, suns blazers and indy. Look up those rosters. Blazers probably had the best roster. The rest were not a challenge.

And its roots go to the fact that they simply hate the Cs and want the Lakers to be the prestige franchise.
