  • The Piriformis stretch, also known as the four-way figure stretch, is a fantastic way to open up the highs and, over time, gain more mobility. With more mobility in our hips, we can relieve pain in our lower back. This stretch, explained by SCU professor, Dr. Sermeno, is terrific for those just learning about the piriformis stretch!
    Any pain that the body is experiencing will take time to go away entirely. As the inflammation and stiffness recede, it is essential to continue to do the exercises and stretches that are helping with the pain. Use this video as a reference daily to help alleviate any lower back pain.
