Love the organizations you're representing, especially Stand Up To Cancer, who work to help fight these diseases. I have too many personal stories of my own when it comes to cancer and seeing you take time away from your busy schedule to support these causes means a lot. Please don't stop what you're doing!

Doctor Mike I am really way too happy to see you caring for people and really changing the mindset of people towards medicine in a totally unique and friendly way and I really love that to be honest since my childhood until now I am been visiting doctors in my life but never got any kind of proper feedback from anyone and eventually ended up not trusting any doctors in life but after seeing you helping people and creating a whole new perspective towards medicine has changed my thinking that not all doctors are the same I am 29 years old and I am from India I have undergone spine surgery twice then after that I have got a jaw surgery done and the first surgery was the appendix that I got done and eventually the whole circle of me getting surgeries done just got me scared of going to doctors but thanks to you for changing my mindset towards doctors.

My advice is start saving your money ALOT college cost alot but you could also help yourself study by looking on the web and homeschooling yourself in your free time if you really want to try.
Also it largely depends on which type of doctor are you going to be there are surgeons, nurses, pharmacists and much more.
This might seem like alot of work but becoming a doctor takes MANY years to learn and you need to prepare yourself as much as you can, even if it seems a bit excessive at times. If you are really dedicated you must put in your maximum effort and attention.
It’ll be worth it at the end because you get to meet so many nice people and be considered a miracle worker to others, and the pay... oh the pay! If you do this the right way you will be looking back with your dream job and thanking Doctor Mike for what inspiration he was given you.

Doctor Mike, I suffer from anxiety and depression. What advice/recommendations could you give? I'm on anti-depressants as it's (anxiety and depression) affecting my everyday life and I've had anxiety for years. I struggle to communicate with people as I find it awkward and I can't stay long with groups of people or somewhere busy. I also currently have CBT (Cognitive behavioural therapy) due to my past and needing help. I'm a 17 year old female.

Hey I'm sorry to hear you're having troubles with your condition. However it is great that you are willing to talk openly about it and are seeking help from the medical community. As a second year medical student, I'm so impressed with how you manage to juggle your work, charity, and personal life (fitness, friends, family, etc.). It really inspires me to take a good look at how I'm spending my time in medical school because I'm always complaining about not having any time even though I don't do much other than study currently! I would love to hear about how you dealt with revising for finals with a focus on quality over quantity (which I assume you did, considering you'd find time for the gym!).
