      @@cookiedinoz130 I have used this recipe a couple of times now, and I really like it. The way to make sure the brownies are fudgy in texture is to underbake them by a couple of minutes. So instead of letting them bake for 25 minutes, only bake for about 23 minutes or just until brownies have started to set in the middle. Then take them out of the oven and let them cool for ONLY a couple of minutes in the baking pan so that they set some more. Then immediately take the brownies out of the pan by pulling the parchment paper up and let the brownies finish cooling on a cookie rack or on a plate. Take a knife dipped in warm water and slice the brownies so that you get clean cuts. I cut mine into 6 nice sized squares because I used a 8×8 baking pan. Another thing I did was I folded in a half cup of melted chocolate chips into the melted butter and sugar mixture before I added the dry ingredients. The melted chocolate adds to the moistness.

      @@kynnxg9929 You can still use the baking powder and get fudge brownies. There is only a small amount of baking powder used in this recipe. The thing with this recipe is that the amount of chocolate is very small because it only calls for a 1/3 cup of cacao powder. If you want the fudge texture all you have to do is add in about a 1/2 cup of hot melted chocolate chips to the batter, and that will give you the fudge texture. If you look at other recipes, melted chocolate is almost always in the recipe. This recipe is a good starting point though. And the 2 eggs can be kept in the recipe as well.

However,I found that my brownies came out a little drier than I would've liked them to be,so I added about 1 or 1 1/2 tablespoons of half & half to give them alittle more moisture.. also I added alittle more sugar to the batter as well! And in the oven for 20-25 minutes, you’ll want to slightly under bake for the fidget texture- I came out with delicious fudgey, tiny tiny bit cakey brownie with an amazing chew!

    In the kitchen I’m a “nomad”, I don’t have a specific recipe for any dessert (I do have favorites though, which I make more often than not). When I came across this recipe, I was surprised to see how simple it really is, I then decided to try it out. The outcome didn’t surprised me: for a brownie, it was not sweet at all, even after I added one cup of sugar as it was recommended. Sugarless cocoa is very strong and if it is used in big quantities, it can over flavor everything else.
    My recommendation: Use 1/4 cup of sugarless cocoa and 1 and 1/4 cup of sugar. Add about one cup of melted semisweet chocolate chips as well. For extra fudge.
    Trust me, you won’t regret it :)

    edit : I used half a stick of butter instead of a half a cup, damnit. the good thing though is that they were pretty easy to make
    edit : i made them again today and they turned out okay. They dont look anything like the ones you have in the video and are much more cakey. I think I either added too much baking powder or I overmixed the batter

    • @SuffertheFools
      @SuffertheFools 4 года назад +1

      @@MelonManofWar Definitely underbake if you want the fudge texture. I baked mine for 23 minutes and then let them cool in the pan for ONLY 2 minutes. Use parchment paper to line the baking pan before you put the brownie batter into it, so that after the brownies cool for a couple of minutes, you can easily pull it out of the pan and set it on a cooling rack. If you leave the brownies in that hot pan to cool, its going to have a more firm, spongy texture because the brownies are going to continue to cook in that pan. Also, fold into the batter about 1/2 cup of melted chocolate chips or a chopped up bar of chocolate because that extra melted chocolate will add to the fudge texture.
