PS5 No Power 2 Second BLOD Repair

- On the healing bench this time for repair is a PS 5 with a 2 second BLOD beep blue light for 2 Seconds.
This means when the power button is pressed you hear a beep followed by the blue light then the system just shuts off and usually take two power button presses to power on again.

Im having this exact same issues right now. Had to go back to ps4 ive had my ps5 for about a year but it's preowned. Thinking of just buying a new one
If you are in the UK.. get in touch... Links in the description... If not. try and sell it.. Faulty PS5's go for good money and will reduce the hit on buying a new one.

No clue. There are no schematics to tell us and my multimeter isn't accurate enough. Best case is to take from a donor board.

Hey brother, mine has the same problem.. I fixed it and now the blue light comes for like 6 seconds, then switch to white light for around 3 seconds and fan start spinning fast and it turns off.. Ive tested it without the cooler on it, do you think thats why its shutting down?

Respectfully I wonder why you didn't inject voltage and avoided taking all those components off the board?
Injecting voltage is a last senario. It risky and shouldn't be done haphazardly. It's a tool to be used when all else has been exhausted. I'll do what I feel is needed. This is a customers device and I need to present it back to them repaired or with a definitive failure mode.

can I send my ps5 to you i’m having this same exact issue but i’ve heard sonys repair isn’t good i recently got it a month ago and it randomly turned off while i was playing spider-man.
Sounds like you should take it back to the store under warranty... if anyone takes a screw driver to it you waver the free warranty!!
5:34 you said 1.1v at initial power button press, and you wrote 3.3V on EDM 010 & 1.8V on EDM 020, But the board is EDM 010. Which is correct Please??.

I know it's not technicaly correct... I know.. I know!! However it does help describe issue customers are having easily! If we had UART on the PS5 we can find out the actual issue. I get just as frustrated with the stick drift fix boards and the resistor method.
