Power outages fuel frustration for medical devices users

A number of metro Detroiters without power have checked into hotels to maintain some comfort. But that, of course, comes with a cost.

Using a medical device myself, I can tell you its fairly easy to run a bi-pap machine with a very minimal investment in a battery and small solar array. I had offered my skillset to the Saint Clair Shores senior center years ago but didn't get much of a response. However, after loosing power here for 5+ days, the wife no longer complains about batteries or panels.......
