Someone else mentioned this and I didn't even realise I had cut it 😭 I think its cause I had always had it in my head that he loved him so the "I want to be with you" comments hit me deeper so I cut it without realising 😭
I love the theatricality of the shooting range scene here. This is where the last of the increasingly-complex web of secrets and lies that has been building up between Wille, Simon, Sara, Felice, and August is finally exposed and getting all five of them in one place to hear it together and with no-one else around is just so dramatically satisfying. It really does feel to me like how you'd write this denouement on stage, and I'm here for it.
The whole thing with the gun was such a good callback to episode one, when August was like "we're so privileged, we could probably get away with murder"
I am Autistic and I really appreciate your comments about Sara. Did she monumentally mess up, yes. Is that a really difficult situation for her? Absolutely. Sara would have been really struggling with this, especially as she had really struggled with relationships and August was nice to her. Btw Aspergers stopped being used as a diagnostic term in 2013 in the UK. Everyone who gets a diagnosis now is "autistic" but anyone who was diagnosed with Aspergers can still call themselves that and some are very protective of it. I was diagnosed as Aspergers but am happy to call myself Autistic.
Even if Sarah did not have any diagnosis, it seems she honestly believed August wanted to confess, and that he did a stupid mistake he regrets and was actually good deep inside, so she thought he deserved redemption and 2nd chance! I guess she believed he will in the end do the right thing and own his mistakes... sadly she was wrong about him ... but for me, that is good enough not to blame her, her mistake comes from a place of compassion and forgiveness! plus she loved him she desperately needed him to turn/become good/redeemed!
His is one of the few reactions I've seen where he immediately picked up on it. He's really good at analysing people and breaking down their words and actions.
Marcus's opinions about Simon are irrelevant to me. He always manipulates Simon bringing up his personal problems, none of which he heard about from Simon. They barely know each other and Marcus will never know the fishes' names!
Really minor detail, but, with what you mentioned about ‘I don’t think Wille ever intended to actually shoot him’ - you’re 100% right. The entire time that Wilhelm has the gun pointed at August his finger is *behind* the trigger. The only time throughout the entire interaction that Wilhelm had his finger on the trigger is when he shot into the sky.
I never noticed that before. Nice catch! Even without seeing that, though, I figured Wille just wanted to scare the absolute shit out of August. Which, yeah.
Sara going to the police could backfire horribly....the drugs thing😣 Wille said "I love you" in the finale of S1. This was the reply, and it gave him the strength to say what he did in that speech, to be absolutely true to both himself & Simon. August needs to be horsewhipped then thrown in the sea.
Not really. In any decent investigation, there are no less than 7 witnesses [including Sara in his room] that August not only took drugs, but alcohol as well. And let's not forget his literal confession to the Queen at the very beginning of his meeting with her. The whole "Alexander took the video" will collapse into what it is: a LIE ---- and remember, Sara is the witness to *August uploading the video.*
@@jacquiehahn4910 If they "prosecuted" Simon for the drugs, they would have to prosecute every one of that "gang" (including Wilhelm) for drugs and they won't do that. August has violated the "Royal trust" in several different ways so he would bear the brunt of the legal matters.
@@penboyasgod6103 just so long as that egregious gobshite gets his comeuppance, I don't care. Part of me wants to see him redeemed, but the other 97.2% would happily drown him in that bloody lake!
I just have to write a comment now! This reacting series is the best and most reflected reaction series i've ever seen on RUclips, and I have seen like 5 different ones.... The way you're analysing the scenes and characters plus their development is so amazing. I feel like you're the first person who really is understanding the intentions of some actions and who is noticing every little detail about their body language. I'm so thankful that I've found your channel! Maybe I like you're contet that much because I also analyse a lot of details in someones actions. I don't know. But you have brought me new perceptions on for example the situation between Simon and Marcus, when they are talking about Simon not being ready for a relationship. I've never realized it's gaslighting and a huge red flag. I even realized through this series that I'm also manipulative sometimes, without realizing. Not only the Series YR but you're reaction to it made me get a new look on my life and how I'm dealing with it and how I'm living it. I really am thankful for your reaction and all the wise words you've said. Love and hugs to you!
Hi. Just want to thank you for your really insightful comments on this show. I watch a lot of reaction videos, and I know my teenage daughter does too. Don't know if she watch yours. Wouldn't be surprised because we are so much alike that we have discovered that we do in fact end up watching a lot of the same videos.... 🤣 I personally truly enjoy your thoughts on the show for my own sake (maybe because we agree on so much, lol), but mostly I enjoy knowing that younger people can watch your reaction videos and see some insightful thoughts that they might not have thought of. You have a great ability to point out the important nuances and explain why things matter, and you do it with great respect. You're a good role model! Thank you!
I love the overall 'moral' in this last episode. Lies can tie you down and ruin your life, while the truth will free you. I sincerely believe that by coming out, Wille not only made it a lot harder for his court to replace him by his straight cousin, but also protects Simon from August's scheme. As he pointed out, he's still the crown prince, so he's higher in the protection list, which should also account to his boyfriend. They'd not allow any dirt on the prince's partner, would they? It would throw a bad light onto Wille and monarchy.
I've been Waiting for this one! And love how long this video is. Can I also just point out how much I appreciate that you actually pause what you're watching before you go into your thoughts and reactions. I've watched many reactions videos and so many people miss key things or just the little details that tie things together because they just keep on talking without pausing etc Really looking forward to watching season 3 and your reactions alongside it!
24:49 He has tried to talk to mom but she doesn't listen. I think Wille's mom only really cared about Erik and not Wille. In the season one finale Wille lying about his sexuality was "The only way to give Erik's death any meaning." and other things she said and did.
The way I’ve been looking forward to your insights on this finale, what a ride👏🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾, Appreciate your reactions soo much, Thank you for taking your time & giving us probably the BEST ones on here, cannot wait to go through season 3 with you!!! Take care!
I've really enjoyed your reactions to Young Royals! Pretty sure August will be in season 3, season 2 only covered the winter and beginning of spring, so I think season 3 will cover the rest of the school year. I hope he won't be the main driver of drama in season 3, though, but that the drama for Simon and Wille at least will be more centred around how they navigate the public, the press, and the royal family now that their relationship is out in the open. I agree with you on Sara. One thing I've found interesting about her relationship with August is that she was shown earlier to have very black-and-white morals whereas Simon was the one who gave people second chances. With August, she starts seeing more that people have different sides to them, and by giving August a second chance she might in a way be trying to take a leaf out of her brother's book, she just applies it to the completely wrong situation. I also find it interesting how August didn't reveal that it was Sara who had told him about Simon going to the police even when he had a gun pointed at him - it shows that he really did love her, but as you say, this love didn't change him (yet, at least). Getting to see his softer side with Sara (the only person seemed comfortable around and let his guard down around) showed us what he perhaps could have been like if he wasn't so deeply insecure. I think the problem with August is actually that he really hates himself, and that he deals with it not by working on himself but by lashing out and putting others down.
i recently binged both series and became immediately obsessed. i’ve watched hundreds of reaction videos and yours are by far the most nuanced and insightful. Can’t wait for you to react to series 3.
As far as Alexander goes. It's not like anyone was out to get him. It only fell on Alexander because he was the one who got caught. He was already in trouble either way. I can understand him being upset but it wasn't like some personal vendetta against him.
At the end of Wilhelm's speech and acknowledgement of Simon, when he stared into the camera were 2 of his most important emotions: 1: The stare: _Just try and stop me from being with Simon._ 2: At the very end (you have to be sharp to see it): The tiniest bit of a *hint of a smile* --- _Yeah, I'm to be reckoned with, Mamma and the Court_ The 3rd most important emotion: Turning to Simon, bringing on a smile and waiting for Simon to respond in kind; _Simon, I'm going to make it right for us, please trust me now._
I think Season 3 (which we now know will be the last season) will take place during the rest of the semester (Season 2 ended in March, the semester ends in June), so August graduates at the end of Season 3. He's one of the title characters, being one of the 2 main Young Royals in the title, so he'll likely still play an important role in Season 3...
Whenever i read comment sections, i realise that i might not dislike characters to everyone else's level, and that seems to be rather common for me across multiple shows
Jan Olaf aligned himself with August to replace Wilhelm and use the speech as a way to get the public on board with the idea of a new Crown Prince. His mission, as far as he's concerned, is to protect the succession. However, he and August are unaware the Queen has told Wilhelm about the plan. The Queen wants her son to succeed rather than August and she's pleased to see Wilhelm stand up for his position and BE the Crown Prince. He just doesn't do it the way she was expecting. Both Jan Olaf and The Queen have the rug pulled from under them by Wilhelm. Sara going to the police is going to have huge consequences as she's unaware of August's planned counter attack to tell them about Simon selling his dad's drugs. August has the evidence and with Sara now telling him where to go he no longer has a sense of protection towards her. Simon being involved in a drug charge/investigation would be immediate suspension from school and bring the royal court into a fresh scandal. It puts Wilhelm back into the spotlight in the same way he was in the very first episode of series. August will be fuming from Sara dumping him and missing out on doing the speech all in the space of ten minutes. If the police come round to investigate the video, August will just go into snake mode. That's where the drama's going to be for season 3.
August has no real evidence that Simon sold him drugs. He has only one pill bottle with Simon's and Sara's dad's name on it, the rest of the drugs was confiscated by the headmistress from Alexander after the party and obviously had no name on them or she would have already contacted the Erikssons. Their dad was at the school for the Lucia celebration, he could have just forgotten his pillbottle there after taking his pills, so the one pillbottle August has doesn't prove anything. I think August knows that and was just bluffing to scare Wille and Simon. The drugs thing would backfire on August because he's 18 and seen as a adult who bought drugs and booze from a minor.
@@gerganakantcheva8176 While it remains unreported the lone pill bottle means nothing but it's enough to trigger an investigation. Even if the conclusion would likely find no wrong doing it wouldn't stop August starting the fire. We don't know if Alexander will crack and choose to clear his name. He'll be feeling manipulated by both August and Wilhelm for different reasons. August is also of the belief the royal court only found out it was him who posted the video via Wilhelm finding out from Felice. He doesn't know they already knew before that so doesn't know the inner working of the court as well as he thinks. The one saving grace may be that Wilhelm is aware of August's plan to use the pill bottle against Simon and he has a chance to warn his mother. If he does, will she step in to stop August? Or maybe even use it to fire Jan Olaf for proposing August as a replacement for Wilhelm as Crown Prince? It'll just be interesting to see what gets tied up or left open in season 3.
Yeah, everybody is so happy about Wilhelm giving this speech and going off script and I understand why. But it will be a desaster and will have the opposite effect of what Wilhelm wanted. Even if Sarah would not go to the police and August would not expose Simon selling the drugs: The press will hunt Wilhelm and Simon, they will find out that Simons father is an alcoholic, they will not leave them alone. The press will make it impossible for Simon and Wilhelm to have any kind of normal relationship. It would have been better for both of them to keep it a secret. But nobody of the adults told them that and Wilhelm didn`t talk to Simon about this and explained.
August really does get my blood boiling and I think its mainly because so far he hasn't received any consequences or repercussions for his actions, it's almost like he's being rewarded which is so infuriating. I really hope that they don't try to pull that redemption bullshit on us in S3. I hope he gets exactly what's been coming to him since season 1. And even if they try the whole redemption arc thing I won't be buying into it unless it's a situation where he is the one that turns himself in ready to face the consequences and make genuine changes and go to therapy cus damn he really needs it. Boy has got some serious issues 😃
Loved your reactions! My favorite part about the ending of S2 is Wilhelm is essentially saying, "Fuck closets. I don't want to be in one anymore, and I'm not forcing Simon back into one. It'd make him so unhappy and he deserves better. I don't want him to be my secret." Wilhelm not responding to Simon's, "I love you," in the closet is a call back to when Simon didn't tell Wilhelm he loved him back at the end of the choir thing at the end of S1. S2 was PERFECT IMO. My major fear for season 3 is a HUGE one. Sara going to the cops about August leaking the tape is great. I love it. It's Sara taking responsibility for her complicity in his August's actions. August could potentiality (though unlikely), be held accountable for what he did. Great stuff. The thing I worry about is if this will lead into an investigation of Simon. Will the cops go after Simon for supplying the booze to Wilhelm's welcoming party? Could he be prosecuted for stealing his dad's pills and having August sell them at Hillerska since August didn't have money to pay Simon for the booze? My biggest fear is that all this joy and emotional/relationship growth will lead to Simon's peril when it's finally Wilhelm and Simon's opportunity to be openly, unashamedly, happily a couple. August paying for Rousseau was sweet and shows that does have genuine feelings for Sara, but August will ALWAYS put himself first. How the hell was she supposed to continue to afford Rousseau, huh? August may have bought her the physical horse, but horses cost to feed, board, vet bills, etc. Thoroughbreds are especially expensive. It shows he did not understand or care about HER life. It was all about him and how Sara made HIM feel. Sara had to put her own fucking food back when her friends thoughtlessly left it for Sara to pay for all of their coffees that one morning. Sara had to use her savings account money to pay for her friends' luxuries. A lot of thoughtless behavior from rich people all around on this show, but it was a particularly thoughtless "gift" from August. The wildest, but most face-saving idea to solve the blackmail for everyone in season 3 (I only want to protect August just to keep Simon from any potential trouble) is if Simon's dad takes responsibility for all of the drugs, booze, and stuff as some kind of atonement for his past unspecified abusive behavior. Yes, Micke being a horrible father/husband who refused help for addiction is enough justification for the level of anger Sara and Simon feel towards him, but I always got the feeling there was a bigger picture there. Their dad is obviously not afraid to be physically violent with them- judging by how he grabbed Simon and slammed him against the wall in S1. I think something major happened in their family before the show. Possibly something bad Micke did that he should have been turned into the police for, but wasn't for some reason. Micke going to jail for one of his kids would in a fucked up way hypothetically be him taking responsibility for what he could've done bad then and finally chosen his childrens' wellbeing over himself. Simon never wanted to do that drug shit in the 1st place. August gave him no choice. Simon never would've done it otherwise. Every time August did something bad, he knew it was illegal and did it anyway because he WANTED to. 100% choice on his end. I know, TLDR, but season 2 gripped me so hard.
I think any foreshadowing of suicide might actually be for August, whose father committed suicide and was a drug addict, like August is a drug addict now... I think he'll believe he's going to be Crown Prince because the court is angry with Wilhelm for telling the truth, but it eventually gets taken away because they find out he released the video, then August at least tries to kill himself. 😬 Instead of taking responsibility, he wants to take that as a way out because like you said, he's incapable of taking responsibility.
its about time that our boys got back together.when simon told wilham he want to be with him and he will waite for him you can tell that wilham was happy that simon said and also when simon said i love you u can see that what wilham realy need that and u can tell wilham love him too.the ending was so powerful wilham did so well with his speech i love when he look at simon and gave him a smail and simon did aswell and then wilham look into the camara it look like this is start of new revolution and now they have each other for support and there love passion and conction is so magic and so powerful that nothing going to keep them apart.
I love your reaction videos, you are always so thoughtful and eloquent in your discussion! Your reactions and analysis of YR are the best out there. I can’t wait for season 3, so happy it’s been renewed (even though I’m sad it will be the last season, I’m glad they know so they can wrap things up), and I think we’re going to be in for a very satisfying conclusion.
😂 I have only watched half of Your reaction to this episode so far. I love your firey entusiasm for this show. Your insights are so entertaining and profound. I am with you all the way. One thing I find interesting is how, when Simon walks off when being hugged by Wille, after being betrayed by his sister, they translate ”Wille get off of me” when he does not actually say that. He only actually says ”I just want to go home”, and then is silent. Any thoughts on that? I think it makes a huge difference, because he doesn’t want him to get off him. Not really. For the time being, yes. But not in the long run.
Thanks for your review. The scene where Wilhem confronts August at the shooting range, he became a King! No doubt. He confirmed it with his speech! He will be king.
your reactions to this show have probably been some of my favourites cause idk you just seem to analyse it so well and pick up on things that aren’t as obvious, it’s been so fun to watch!!
How could Sara fall "in love" with august AFTER she knew about him posting the video? I would be sympathetic if it was BEFORE. It just doesn't sit right with me.
I literally thought for a lot of season 2 that Wille wasn't going to survive the season. Not by his own doing but I figured the guns may have played a part. This season was as incredible as the first!!
Harry, you are one of my favorite reactors, because you have so many opinions that you give on characters and plot, but you are thoughtful enough to pause the video, and actually speak about them instead of just talking over scenes and not paying attention to important moments like a lot of reactors. I agree with everything that you have to say. August is trash and I still feel like there is the potential for him to be less shitty but he needs to face consequences for things. He has to pay for what he has done in order for that to happen. He will never learn otherwise. Your understanding of Sara’s neurodivergence is so appreciated. It’s not an excuse, but she never uses it as one. And it makes sense because she interprets situations and emotions differently than others. Your rant on Marcus is so on point. Actually celebrating Simon’s decision to keep things a secret!! So many people don’t seem to understand that this season was about him taking his agency and making his own decision ON HIS TERMS. Wille gave him the freedom, and Simon actually learned how hard Wille’s position is and decided he is worth it. His arc this season is lovely. And Wille’s bravery and strength. Admitting it was him in the video and looking to Simon, making it clear to everyone what they are my god. It took me an entire hour to get through the last 5 minutes of the season bc I was bawling hysterically. The only criticism I have of Felice is this notion that she feels like she’s more betrayed by the situation than anyone else. While the betrayal is bad from Sara and it hurts, the real victims of the situation are Simon and Wille and they have the most reason to be angry at her. But when Felice came back to the room, it was clear she had cooled off from her anger and she obviously loves Sara. I think she will understand. One thing that is kind of interesting is that August didn’t rat Sara out, even with an actual gun to his head. That doesn’t mean he is “good” obviously, but it’s something of note. Such great reactions and I can’t wait for what you pick up next. Oh, and there is going to be a third and final season. And it’s likely to come out this year. 💜
I was diagnosed with aspergers as late as 2019, but I will usually refer to myself as autistic. In my opinion, this is one of the instances where you should refer to people the way they refer to themselves, so in this case, Sara refers to herself as having aspergers, so we should too
I agree with you on referring to people the way they refer to themselves when it comes to real people, but due to Asperger’s being a generally problematic term (because it was created by a N@zi doctor to actively fuel eugenics) when it comes to fictional characters even if they say they have Asperger’s, I refer to them as being autistic simply because it won’t affect the character’s feelings (because they’re fictional) and it’s less problematic.
harry i absolutely love the way you dive so deep into characters and analyzing them and trying to understand why they said or did certain stuff because its truly rare to see reactors who can pick up the small details. im not sure if you've ever watched korean dramas before but i absolutely recommend watching Weak Hero Class 1, it's blown up quite a bit and im sososoo interested to hear your thoughts about its characters and their development throughout the show and the abolutely amazing friendship it has (tw; it does contain violence/bullying/domestic abuse so please beware!)
Asperger's has always been viewed as a form of autism, but in the past, it has been viewed as a more ''separate'' type of it. Now, the term Asperger's is being phased out, and in many places it is not its own separate diagnosis anymore. Like, for example, in the US. That is why many people say that it is an outdated term. However, it is still being used as a diagnosis in many places too, and I got the diagnosis as late as 2022. I am not Swedish, but I am Scandinavian, and we tend to be on pretty similar pages when it comes to stuff like this, so I assume they still use it as a diagnostic term there too. But Asperger's is and has always been autism, so either way, it is not incorrect to say that she has Asperger's, but it is also not incorrect to say she is autistic. That being said, it is always best to use whatever term the person themselves uses about them. I usually use autistic about myself because Asperger's feels outdated despite it still being a diagnostic term where I live and the diagnosis I got, but as Sara uses Asperger's about herself there is nothing wrong using the ''outdated'' term when refering to her.
omar and edvin who played simon and william there scenes was so beautiful to watch and there connection and there chemisty and also there communication and there friendship are so strong and i love how simon told wille how he feels towards him it was so honest and when simon told him he love him u can see wille was happy and i love how wille change this speach and told everyone that it was him in the viedo with simon that was so honest it showing everyone how much he love simon and when he turn around to simon and gave him a smail he saying i love to and when simon did the same that meand there are back together now they have each other for support and there love passion and conction is so magic and so powerful that nothing going to keep them apart this going to be a new revolution for them
its about time that our boys got back together.when simon told wilham he want to be with him and he will waite for him you can tell that wilham was happy that simon said and also when simon said i love you u can see that what wilham realy need that and u can tell wilham love him too. the speech that wilham did was so powerful and true he said to him self iam not going to keep this a secret, because i want to be true for myself and to simon and i will fright for what i belive in and after he done the speech he trun around and look at simon and gave him a smile and simon smaile back to him and then when wilham trune back he look right into the cemara and he going to fright.
Thanks so much, I thoroughly enjoy your insights, it's nice to see someone else care as much for the characters and story as I do! I already watched your videos on patreon (and more than once 😄) because I'm not a very patient person but I wouldn't have known about your reactions in the first place without your RUclips channel so thanks for that as well 😊
Sara didn’t know about the drugs either so she didn’t know he could blackmail Simon. Sara has seen a completely different side of August and thought that was the real him but he showed who he is with his acctions. I hope August have some ’Goodwill hunting’ moment w a psychiatryst in season 3.
Oh it's definitely possible to win against people like August, but it requires understanding how they think. Wille managed it just fine, he just failed to ask Simon's opinions and consider whether Vincent was a better alternative.
While the situation is not black and white, I think Sara is being dishonest still, like she was not in love when she betrayed felice and simon, she at most was attracted to August, he had kissed her once. Like what drove her to betray him was her need to fit in with the rich people and her superficial attraction to him, which in part i also think came about because he used to date felice, and sara having august would validate her feelings of trying to fit in with the circle.
a detail some people miss is that simon and wille actually spend the day together and then have a sleepover after they have sex. simon comes to wille’s dorm after lunch and then leaves early the morning after. he says his mom is picking him up at 10 and wille says they have the day off so it’s def the next day
In some ways Sarah is worse….August is clearly a damaged boy with problems at home, addiction to pills, needing power to boost his ego. Sarah comes from a home where mother and brother love her yet she’s selfish and covetous ; you can see she’s even jealous that Felipe was chosen Lucia. She does nothing nice for anyone and is a “taker.”
i wish when wilham finish his speech and when he trun around and smile to siomon i thought he will ask simon to came and stand beside him that i was wishing for.
Dec 14, 2022 - Netflix has just confirmed Young Royals will be returning for a third and final season. Confirming the good news on Twitter earlier today the ...
nah, i don't care what anyone says sara and august are both awful people and honestly i couldn't care for the either of them. obviously august is the worst of the two and complete human trash but i am not falling for sara's whole thing of her keeping secrets from her brother and time and time again selling out her friends and family all because she was in love with august. because let's go back to season one,, when she found out that august had recorded and posted the video instead of immediately telling her brother she instead goes to august and uses it to blackmail him into getting her a room in the girls dorm/boarding house. this was BEFORE she had any romantic fellings for the guy so there should have been nothing stopping her from going to simon and being honest with him about what she saw. i get she really can't decipher right from wrong but honestly i can't think of one positive thing she's done since the series started. i feel like she could have some redemption in season 3 but as of right now i feel no remorse for her at all.
It is great that you feel conflicted on the characters because that was intended by the show. No one is really a bad guy but they have definitely done more bad things than some.
My biggest issue with yr is this thing with just 6 eps i hope season 3 gets at least 8 eps (i prefer 10 ngl hahaha) or more than 50 min each episode because we know they have more things to show! but if netflix ended up being a b*tch i hope lisa can give justice to the characters i love anyway (idgf about hillerska boys august and marcus)
@@_mermaidguts Geneticallly speaking how would they make it work mixing both blood lines ? Let’s say they use a surrogate it would have to be wit h Wilhelm’s blood ( blue blood). Therefore if Sara is carying August’s child then it would be just as if Simon’s and Wille’s… I know, I know my opinion is far-fetched even I think I sound like a loose pot😂
Being autistic too, but older, I'm not sure I understand Sara's actions at the end, especially her last words to August. I don't see how she would forget her feelings and how he made her feel so quickly, since he never stopped caring for her, but she already knew that he was despicable to everyone else. So if there was no significant change in their feelings, how does her attitude completely flips in one or two days? That was unexpected to me, and seems uncharacteristic... Telling August "you don't get it, do you?", is what I know a neurotypical person would do. I have doubt that her mindset could shift that quickly... especially sine he also tells her that her horse is actually safe now. It turns my stomach to even think that such majestic and intelligent creatures can be abused by humans, but it's real and vicious. She was clear to protest about this during the whole amount of time, and to not let her friend forget either, who was the one person closest to the people responsible for the sale, thus the only one who could have done anything to stop selling the horse... Maybe she couldn't do much, or anything at all, but she was still the closest person and the only who could. It was sad to me to see Sara completely disregard it in the end.
Honestly I wish Sara just took the horse and sold it off to some nice horse people, because she can’t afford to keep the horse and that way she could both ensure that he goes to good people that she approves of and she gets a load of money.
I think Wilhelm's speech is gonna turn out more damageable for both Simon and himself. Simon already knew how strongly Wille loved him since Wilhelm had told him that he could/would give up the crown in order to be with him. Witch is probably the main reason why Simon agreed to keep their relationship secretive - beside cover his ass and his family - I had to say this because it seems no one takes in account how seriously wrong Simon was in the matter of the drug ordeal.😌😌 Again since Wilhelm had already declared his love to Simon I do not think Simon needed/expected to ear it back, their embrace was clear enough - even though it's poetic justice how Wille made his amend toward Simon in front of the press on national tv. Dramas are to be expected in the final season. My feeling involves Jan-Olof who I'm sure will NOT forget the way the boys were breathing each other's air before he interrupted them, basically I believe he will blame Simon for Wilhelm's derailed speech ( I have the feeling the man might even be homophobic). Therefore he will side with August. However from the bottom of my heart, I hope the Queen will rule in favor of her son.
So, if August tells the police about the drugs isn't it bound to come out that it was August who bought the drugs and he, the Prince and all their cohorts used the drugs?
Yes, it would backfire because August is 18 and an adult who bought drugs and booze from a minor... Also Crown Prince Wilhelm is now officially one of the victims in the video case and can make his own statement to the police and the Royal Family has to support Wilhelm now to safe face, because he's a minor and August is an adult, so no Royal Family support for August anymore I guess...
Simon finally saying "I love you" was one of the most important points of this episode and the season as a whole.
I know! I was surprised it was missed out.
Someone else mentioned this and I didn't even realise I had cut it 😭 I think its cause I had always had it in my head that he loved him so the "I want to be with you" comments hit me deeper so I cut it without realising 😭
Wille didn't have to say "I love you" to Simon - he already said that in the S1 finale. It is actually Simon who is finally saying it back to Wille.
37:19 To be fair, Wilhelm said „I love you“ first at the end of season one. So it’s the perfect full circle moment ❤️🔥👑
Omg I never considered that, thats so cool!
Wilhelm didn't say "I love you" back because he said it first at the end of season one. This was about Simon finally saying it back to him 🥲
Wille's dinner table conversation with his parents was like a warm-up to his later public speech.
Harry’s rant at Marcus - perfection! 💜
Just the sight of Marcus pisses me off
Came to the comments to say this 😅
His is one of the few reactions I've seen where he immediately picked up on it. He's really good at analysing people and breaking down their words and actions.
Marcus's opinions about Simon are irrelevant to me. He always manipulates Simon bringing up his personal problems, none of which he heard about from Simon. They barely know each other and Marcus will never know the fishes' names!
"Marcus will never know the fishes names!" that is HILARIOUS 😂🤣😂🤣
Really minor detail, but, with what you mentioned about ‘I don’t think Wille ever intended to actually shoot him’ - you’re 100% right. The entire time that Wilhelm has the gun pointed at August his finger is *behind* the trigger. The only time throughout the entire interaction that Wilhelm had his finger on the trigger is when he shot into the sky.
I never noticed that before. Nice catch! Even without seeing that, though, I figured Wille just wanted to scare the absolute shit out of August. Which, yeah.
Sara going to the police could backfire horribly....the drugs thing😣
Wille said "I love you" in the finale of S1.
@@penboyasgod6103 the problem is where the drugs came from. Simon's dad's name on the bottles?
Awwwww this was such a sweet comment!! Thank you so much ❤️❤️
I personally truly enjoy your thoughts on the show for my own sake (maybe because we agree on so much, lol), but mostly I enjoy knowing that younger people can watch your reaction videos and see some insightful thoughts that they might not have thought of.
Have thoroughly enjoyed this series reaction and review and can’t wait for season 3!!! Thank you Harry for always putting a smile on my face xxx
I've been Waiting for this one! And love how long this video is.
Can I also just point out how much I appreciate that you actually pause what you're watching before you go into your thoughts and reactions.
I've watched many reactions videos and so many people miss key things or just the little details that tie things together because they just keep on talking without pausing etc
Really looking forward to watching season 3 and your reactions alongside it!
At the end of Wilhelm's speech and acknowledgement of Simon, when he stared into the camera were 2 of his most important emotions:
1: The stare: _Just try and stop me from being with Simon._
2: At the very end (you have to be sharp to see it): The tiniest bit of a *hint of a smile* --- _Yeah, I'm to be reckoned with, Mamma and the Court_
The 3rd most important emotion: Turning to Simon, bringing on a smile and waiting for Simon to respond in kind; _Simon, I'm going to make it right for us, please trust me now._
I saw another most important emotion on his face: great relief.
That look said ... Checkmate, do you want to keep playing this game of Chess? I am ready to go another round. LOOOOOVED IT
I think Season 3 (which we now know will be the last season) will take place during the rest of the semester (Season 2 ended in March, the semester ends in June), so August graduates at the end of Season 3. He's one of the title characters, being one of the 2 main Young Royals in the title, so he'll likely still play an important role in Season 3...
holy shit why have i never thought about August being one of the young royals in the title??? that makes so much sense, i'm actually an idiot lmao
SO EXCITED FOR THIS REACTION AHHH 👑🧡
I think any foreshadowing of suicide might actually be for August, whose father committed suicide and was a drug addict, like August is a drug addict now... I think he'll believe he's going to be Crown Prince because the court is angry with Wilhelm for telling the truth, but it eventually gets taken away because they find out he released the video, then August at least tries to kill himself. 😬 Instead of taking responsibility, he wants to take that as a way out because like you said, he's incapable of taking responsibility.
I def believe he will go suicidal at some point...
Of course the court will find out what August did. Sara reported it to the police.
@@schuhschrank947 the Court already knows. I mean everyone else.
its about time that our boys got back together.when simon told wilham he want to be with him and he will waite for him you can tell that wilham was happy that simon said and also when simon said i love you u can see that what wilham realy need that and u can tell wilham love him too.the ending was so powerful wilham did so well with his speech i love when he look at simon and gave him a smail and simon did aswell and then wilham look into the camara it look like this is start of new revolution and now they have each other for support and there love passion and conction is so magic and so powerful that nothing going to keep them apart.
i’ve been waiting for this one
Yeah, and them calling it "love", when it`s probably just lust and her wanting Felice`s life also bothers me.
I literally thought for a lot of season 2 that Wille wasn't going to survive the season. Not by his own doing but I figured the guns may have played a part. This season was as incredible as the first!!
What an outstanding analyse of the whole series! You went so deep discussing each and every single topic that YR offers. Congrats, I mean it 👍👍👍
Harry, you are one of my favorite reactors, because you have so many opinions that you give on characters and plot, but you are thoughtful enough to pause the video, and actually speak about them instead of just talking over scenes and not paying attention to important moments like a lot of reactors.
I really like the way you talk about the characters and their actions can't wait to season 3 and your reactions i am not prepared hahaha
He did say it back!
Love your reaction to the end of the show - you are always spot on. Thank you.
S3 is coming out in exactly 1 month: Episode 1-5 are going to be released on March 11th and episode 6 the series finale on March 18th! 🎉💜👑
Best reaction I’ve seen to this episode. Thank you!
They both say I Love You in the last episode…
Wille in season 1
Simon in season 2

Thanks so much, I thoroughly enjoy your insights, it's nice to see someone else care as much for the characters and story as I do! I already watched your videos on patreon (and more than once 😄) because I'm not a very patient person but I wouldn't have known about your reactions in the first place without your RUclips channel so thanks for that as well 😊
I have been looking forward to your reviews almost as much as to Season 2 itself. I really enjoyed (re)watching with you
I really appreciate how insightful you are, especially on first watch!
They are making a season 3, and they confirmed it on the 14th of December it will be the last season
And it is tearing me up inside knowing that season 3 will be all we get. So so heartbroken 💔
@@judydechant9205 Same im not looking forward to the end
What a ending
a detail some people miss is that simon and wille actually spend the day together and then have a sleepover after they have sex. simon comes to wille’s dorm after lunch and then leaves early the morning after. he says his mom is picking him up at 10 and wille says they have the day off so it’s def the next day
i loved your reactions this season, thank you!! can't wait for season 3
I love your rants. That is all. Lol
The fact that i saw sara getting more hate this season than august (even after this amazing finale!!!) makes me so upset
She is as bad as August...
FINALLYYYYY
Don’t worry it has been re newed for the final season 3
Most European countries still use the term Asperger's, but in the US and most other countries it is called High Functioning ASD
1 hour × 6 hours will be fine. Please, Netflix, make it happen
I just hope that the writers don't go the route of making Sara pregnant!!!!
I thought that too!
Oh ffs, didn't even think of that, please no 💀
Umph... it might be a solution for the crown succession in case Simon and Wilhelm end up together in the long run🤔
@@wilfridewilfride5516 Simon and Wilhelm can have children if they choose to do so.
@@_mermaidguts Geneticallly speaking how would they make it work mixing both blood lines ?
Let’s say they use a surrogate it would have to be wit h Wilhelm’s blood ( blue blood). Therefore if Sara is carying August’s child then it would be just as if Simon’s and Wille’s…
I know, I know my opinion is far-fetched even I think I sound like a loose pot😂
Ngl you kinda changed my opinion on Sara a little. You're right she knows she did wrong and I think next season we'll see her make up for it.
August is an absolute Cad (with a capital 'K').
I LOVE YOUR COMENTS
great ending but Sarah will get her brother expelled, if she does report August, he will then tell about Simon dealing pills ...
Loved your reactions! Things I want to see in S3: Linda at the Royal Palace!
Well said to your review
Alexander should talk to real lawyer
i literally hate August but also Jan Olaf
Season 3 is coming! But it's the last one. So I think there should be 8 personally.
Harry you look cute too😉
I love watching your reviews. Thank you!
I would love it if you watched "Smiley" on Netflix. Hugs from Brazil
I was soo glad when Marcus said what he said to Simon, because that's exactly what I thought about him all the time lol
Your pronunciation of Sara comes across as sounding like SALA and not SARA - well it does to me anyway. Just thought that I'd mention it.
Season 3 is confirmed, but it will be the last. 🥲
