These large aircraft are simply incredible, the walk-around gave me a true sense of the amazing size and complicity of this beautiful machine! A thumbs-up from me!
Thank you very much. Glad you enjoyed it!

@Chi Sam LOL

One of the most informative video especially with the preflight aircraft inspection I have ever seen. It's easy to follow even for some of those who are not Avgeeks. I also salute the Commander for taking his sunglasses off while addressing the camera, you don't get to see alot of these old school men anymore @10:53
Great work on the walk around and briefing. Thanks.
Welcome Alistair!
This to me is one of the best airplane Boeing ever built. After the 777.
21:00 what a breathtaking picture that is! Wow
Good captain. He is actually testing his co pilot during the pre takeoff briefing. Making sure he is up to speed.
I noticed that as well, I probably be sweating, hahaha... :-)
Maybe training the FO.
787 is my favorite plane!
Flew the 787 in first class from Lax to Warsaw and back last summer. Great cabin pressure. Zero jet lag. A lay flat bed helps. Quiet too.
This RUclips channel is actually sensational! I love the cockpit scenes they are so unique. Cheers from Toronto Canada!
Thank you very much! Glad you enjoy our channel and thanks for your comment.
Loved the rear view take off camera position, outstanding JP!
Good of the pilot to spend time discussing the flight while they were waiting. Always something new to learn.
The B787 is the best, most beautiful inside and out and the safest plane on planet Earth!
As much as id love to be a pilot one day, I still can't get over the huge responsibility that the pilots have... Carrying hundreds of passengers in a metal tube through the air every day must be a stressful job! Cheers to these pilots though, without them our hobby wouldn't even exist :D
Any job has its levels of stress: wait staff, lawyer, road construction, nurse etc. If you want to study to become a pilot, go for it!!😊
Dude go for it...you don't want to be in yo momma's basement at 35 years old regretting it...don't hold back on life bro
@@StickNclutch Absolutely!!!
Wife and I did the "stand at the fence and get blown away" at this airport. It was a must after seeing all the youtube vids of it. Princess Juliana International Airport.
What a beautiful machine. Those engines were made in my home town!
Another Most Excellent Take Off! Great Video! Thank you for sharing!
Wow, what a beautiful climb!
What a GREAT video !! Thank you for sharing !! I have been traveling to SXM from the US, for 35 years.
"No leakage, looks good" while fluid is dripping from the right main ldgr!!!
That was always a fun takeoff there. The first time, the mountains looked a little imposing as we rushed toward them.....
First class mentoring will benefit the First Officer. A very impressive Captain
exactly. Captain is reassuringly confident, always a good thing.
I'm a retired airline gate agent, i miss my job, my airline buddies, gate agents, pilots, aircraft cleaners, flight attendants , TSA friends, aircraft caterers, really miss those days, every so often in my sleep i dream I'm working a flight.
Pd, once my wife and I stopped there on our way to Antigua , a quick turn , nice people in Antigua.
Fantastic video,thank you for sharing!
Cheers from Italy❤

Fantastic ! Stunning ! Only words to describe this Take0ff !
love the dreamliner, I have flown on several TUI dreamliners, to jamaica 3x, Dominican republic, mexico and a charter for P&O cruises, G-TUIA, G-TUIC G-TUIF, & G-TUIJ was the last one. great flights and excellent service from TUI
ST Maarten, my favorite place :)
You can almost feel the acceleration. Very nice.
Fantastic sequence. Thanks for sharing! Brilliant.
Can't recall how many times I have watched this video.
Thanks for the great work.
Amazing!
The pilot preflight is funny. Rare that it produces anything maintenance didn’t already catch. A ceremonial effort.
Pretty cool. Very good briefing by the captain.
Amazing job pilots. Thank you
Wow!! 0:24 seconds from start to rotate...Awesome!!
Really is a beast!!
I love this airport of St. Maarten and also the dreamliner 787
Great Captain... quite intense with the co pilot before take off...in the best way.
So nice to see someone making some aviation videos where I live atleast
Thank you!
his english is flawless , perfectt
He’s Dutch so wouldn’t expect something else.
What an incredible video JustPlanes Team as they allow you to get up close to this dreamliner!!! :D
Thanks very much. Glad you enjoyed it😁👍
Some of best the contents on RUclips period.
That’s really very kind of you. Thank you❤️
It's really good, that we technicians check the airplane every day :-)
Thank you for this video, and I love all of the technical details that this video has all the Best.
19:15 take off. Very nice vid thanks!
Very engaging upload, thank you.
Greetings from Casablanca, Morocco.
The best run a pilot can get.....half the island is French, other half Dutch......beautiful place....
Sweet professional walk-around. Great job explaining everything. Captain with equal professionalism and explanation. Appreciated your to hazards assessment but wondered about birds?
Boy old boy this is so awesome. Thank you Thank you
Nice video, well presented. Interesting to see the professionalism on the flight-deck, with the Captain checking his f/o's understanding and knowledge.
Aviação é muito linda ,,parabéns pela profissão ,bons voos amigos..
Awesome Video. Great Detail. Thanks.
the look on the Captains face @ 14:40 is priceless. Testing his Co-pilots Knowledge haha
Kinda intimidating lol
I can’t get over how quiet it is.
Wow that instant right turn!!
30 second takeoff roll of about 3600 feet. Not bad! I'll be down there in two weeks. Can't wait!
Around the 4:50 mark when he was checking the rear landing gear and it seems as if he didn't notice that there was something dripping which could have been hydraulic fluid.
Awesome take off
That was a fast take off roll. Wow
Stunning! Thank you
This is where I come to dream. Nice video!
Who is that amazing young man at the beginning who does the inspection??? The world needs to know! lol
Man that was a really great video with good information and explanation!
The 787 is a beauty!
Very good back track. Thanks for the nice video.
Great coverage; awesome!
Morning, the views are spectacular! Plenty of information! JP you have a new subscriber :-)
Have nice day. gr. Betsy.
GREAT VIDEO THANK YOU!!!!!
Great cozy cockpit
What an informative walkaround. I had no idea that the leading edges are warmed.
What kind of appealing is that when you take off and when you land
Amazing video! Super views!👍
Very kind of you! Thank you 👍✈️
I helped build that plane at the Everett factory.
Velocity.
Adam Bomb what’s your job there?
I built the foundation for a wing riveting machine in the Renton plant one winter years ago, It was like a railroad roundhouse. The machine would rivet and inspect the installation and place a refraction disk on the rivet to pass it and would do the top then turn around on railroad tracks and do the bottom of the wing. It was warm and dry inside the plant and took most of the winter to get it done to 1/16th in tolerance! I was the rigger moving the big panels for the concrete forms for the walls, all of the track was below grade.
@Jake Heke And years later I built a Retro Encabulator
@Jake Heke Would it be one if it didn't?
Crazy to see how times change. It feels like just yesterday St Maarten was dominated by the 747s...
Another fascinating video thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it Peter and thanks for commenting!
Got to be the best yet. The take off with camera looking to rear was spesh. I do believe in reincarnation!
I did this same takeoff just two days ago. But I did it on a simulator... :) That is such a beautiful island. It even looks awesome on the sim.
Very good video, enjoyed the walk around. Most times as I wait in the terminal and watch the officer do his walk around, it is faster than this gentleman. I suppose as you acquire experience you know what to look for.
Brilliant video love the views
Nice views now a look around of Acapulco, when approaching her airport
beautiful - thanks
Definitely check those angle of attack sensors and pitot tubes! Great video.
Wow, definitely a good synopsis on the job hazard analysis. Avoid terrain if flying on one engine. As a paying passenger, I would appreciate that. I would also like to visit St Maarten if someone would pay my ticket. Too bad they don't have a rear view camera of all the people being blown off Maho beach by a Boeing.
One must really love flying to be a pilot
Overall Excellent insight👍
At BWI Airport they have part of a 737 cut in half so you can see what's in the walls. There are miles of wires inside the walls. Pretty amazing.
Nice video of the walk around
Flew here in the cockpit when my dad was aDC10 captain with TIA. Some scary landing with the runway end coming up real fast. Dad had on full brakes and reversers so I was really pressed against the cross chest belts.
Awesome look forward to the next video, my favorite RUclips Channel 😀
I will probably never get near a plane like this but I find this inspection incredibly interesting.
Great video, thanks for including the departure briefing.
Very professional. Nice job.
Our F/Os always do the walk around!
This was really cool!
