- hey guys! here's an idea of some of the meals I like to prepare. Hopefully this video isn't boring :P I was getting a lot of questions about my diet, so I thought I would share some meals :) Thanks for watching!!!! xxxxoooooxxxxxoooooo PS I do not follow any sort of diet or eating style.. I just eat intuitively and listen to what my body needs.

This was just a sneak peak of some of the meals I make. I do eat really healthy, but I do eat a lot :) ! Some vegetarians/ vegans become unhealthy because they eat lots of the pastas, and fake meats. However I stick to a whole foods diet, and feel great! :) Hope that helps xo

I have not noticed any aeration problems yet! Although I haven't made too many different soups in the Vitamix. I do need to use the tamper a lot though or it jams up. I will definitely be making more of these types of videos! I'm glad you liked it :). And yes, you must get some Jicama!!

Oh I know what you mean!! I don't recommend a completely raw food diet for colder climates. I tend to eat a mixture of raw and cooked foods in the winter, and more of a raw food diet in the summer. Can't live without my baked sweet potatoes and quinoa though! :)
A lot of different places! I really love finding vintage pieces on Etsy, high quality consignment stores, ebay etc.. I try and only buy things I really really love! xo

Yes that's what I'm referring to :) I do try to stay away from all soy though to be safe (you never know with cross-pollination) However fermented organic soy products like tempeh and miso are my exception. xo

Great recipe ideas! I particularly liked the collard green used as a wrap... and I have kissed soy goodbye for a long time now, but had forgotten about Tempeh! Definitely bringing that back to my meals. Thanks!!

I just plan my meals around what's on sale that week at the store! That's too bad it's expensive in Aruba! I would have thought food would be cheaper there, since it's such a warm climate. Or is it just organic that's expensive?
Hey! I have studied food combining, however its not something I am strict with. I think it's especially beneficial for people who have compromised digestive tracts! I do follow the "fruits on an empty stomach/ before meals" rule, because it really makes sense to me. (fruit will ferment in the stomach if eaten after protein since it will digest faster than the protein, therefore feeding candida etc.) That's awesome if you are food combing! :)

I don't eat gluten, because I was having severe problems with my skin before, and was getting a lot of stomach aches, and then once I cut it out, I felt so much better :) I just always felt so "blah" when I ate it! xo

I have tried turning into a vegan/getting rid of gluten a few times, and I ate very healthy balanced meals like yours but I often felt dizzy and almost on the verge of collapsing... I would really struggle to keep the energy levels up for a few hours with such portions and I would feel very hungry soon. I think it's very individual, I would never be as skinny as you even if I tried and I need more food than that (my weight is healthy I'd like to add).
Maybe you should increase your portions. Were you eating a lot of proteins? Maybe you don't need to be vegan immediately. Probably try cutting out the pork and beef... the moving on to only eating fish... then try a vegetarian diet until you think you can handle the vegan diet. (That is if you really want to live off the vegan diet.)
It's actually normal to feel dizzy and sick. If you're someone that doesn't eat healthy all of the time and then suddenly starts - your body goes into a bit of a panic mode, because it's not used to the healthy foods you're starting eat. It's really just the detoxing process, (cleansing your body of the toxins that you used to consume).
Dizziness is not usually a symptom of detox. Please research into the 801010 diet by Dr. Doug Grahm and look up freelee the banana girl and/or durianriders here on youtube. High fat meals will keep you sluggish and dizzy. High carb meals are the way to go. :) Asians eat 80% carbs in their diet.. it's no wonder why they're so skinny!
astrofreak12 on a vegan diet never limit food. Whole Foods are low in calories but high in nutrients. You most likely just were not getting enough calories. So eat till you are super full.
What do you do when you're eating out or eating with family or friends? I try to eat healthily at home, but end up eating really poorly with family members who don't make healthy meals or want to go out to terrible restaurants.
its all about being prepared bring your own meals.. im vegan so i deal with this alot and when i go to restaurants like for example went to red lobster i got rice pilaf with no oil or salt, asparagus no oil, or salt, broccoli no oil or salt and a baked potato with no oil or salt and i mixed it all together and it was a delicious meal! you just have to tell your serve NO OIL OR SALTS just DRY.
I've tried making raw soups in my vitamix but they turn out really aerated... I don't really like that. Perhaps it's just a raw thing though.. Do you have an aeration problem when vitamixing cooked foods?

I love these what you eat videos they give me such good meal ideas when my creativity run dry. I feed my family (I'm 22) but I make the meals so we all eat healthier because I'm very motivated to eat well and they're happy to eat it. But sometimes you just run out of ideas when you can't just quickly grab chicken nuggets anymore. Which we don't miss anyways but fruits and veggies get boring in they're plain form lol I'd love more of these videos!
Honestly the first one doesn't look that tempting, but its either way good to get some food inspiration and I feel there is still a charm in watching these kind of videos, like your voice is pretty calming, the visual like carving a heart is pretty creative and its a nice feel someone intentionally try to live healthier and whatever works for them. The second recipe maybe I'll try sometime (minus the onions as I don't like those, and tempe sounds a bit gross, but maybe I would change my mind if I tasted it). The third one I would like to try but don't really have butternut squash where I live

It would be nice a video of what you ate in a day and tips on how you plan your shopping for produce, how you plan your meals, you sim so organized with your food. I like how you make the portion sizes. I am having trouble with these since i am on raw, trying to lose weight but its hard to plan ahead how much to buy and I end up buying too much and eating more so that it won't spoil : ) And a testemony video before and after raw would be nice too

Help me please! I have the worst digestive issues- almost everything I eat gives me some type of stomach ache. I'm lactose-intolerant and I also try to cut back on meat but I live in Minnesota where dairy and meat is impossible to avoid. Especially considering that we have such long winters and fresh produce can get spendy/gross in the winter months. Any suggestions on what to eat in the winter?? Do you freeze all your produce? Suggestions are appreciated- thank you so much!

I need balance in my diet, I eat grass fed beef, organic chicken, veggies and fruits, rice and pasta, I couldn't stand being so restricted, I think a vegan diet would work for me as long I balanced it out with my personal comfort foods. life is about enjoying a little bit of everything!
i just subbed to your channel!! I'm really glad I found you because I also do not eat gluten. Do you do it just cause it's bad for you or do you do it because you have sensitivities to it? I have thyroid issues and can't eat gluten or dairy..so i'm pretty much vegan, gluten free. I do eat some fish and honey but everything else i don't.

alfalfa sprouts are the most underrated veggie imo. Its always been my FAVE on sandwiches esp w avocado, - in salads, on anything really.
